Great looking and big portions of food from a place that looks like a nice bar.

The Pork Egg Rolls were omg amazing, the PB wings were different, Hamburger not so good and the Cuban was dry. Fries were yummy and onion rings were nothing special. Service took a while to greet us, but ended out to be okay. Atmosphere terrific. I would actually just come back for the Pork Egg Rolls

The food is awesome haven’t eaten anything that wasn’t good. The dang bang shrimp is awesome, chopped salad, burgers and chicken wrap! The service is also awesome!

This was my first time visiting Buds Rockin facility and I must admit that the wide open concept is really inviting to me. We only had a carryout so my interaction with staff was fairly limited but they were really accommodating. The facility was exceptionally clean and well lit. Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy yourself.

Pretty cool place. The atmosphere is really awesome. They got some pretty sweet electronic dart boards. I was there on a Wednesday night never had a live country singer and he was really good. Im assuming they do quite a bit of live music there. The place is extremely spacious the staff there were really good. Fast drinks and strong ones

Our first time at Buds. We had heard many great things but it managed to exceed all of our expectations! Fast service, great atmosphere, and excellent food! Dang bang shrimp had just the right amount of spice and the BBQ Parfait was delicious!

The long island was strong. Food was okay. Service was alright, it was a busy night.

Took the wife out on date night. Nice bar and atmosphere. Not too crowded. Ordered an appetizer and talked. Waiting an hour for appitizer. Asked for a Select 55 as I could see them in cooler, was told didn’t carry them. Had to show waitress. Got food as I got 1/3 burger and wife catfish. Burger was burnt and fish was not done. Loved the place, too bad food is not as good. Waited a total of 2 and a half hours with 3 tables inside with people. Good thing the night with my wife made it nice, or I may have gotten upset.

Although I feel this bar has the look of the average franchise restaurant (which I dont find suitable for Franklin street) it does have a great New York strip steak. And after being served 75% of the menu, Ive never been disappointed with the food Ive been served here. The drink prices are fair, although I have to say there are some great beer specials.Its a great place to get a bite during lunch hour, or after work. And they also have live music occasionally, with a decently sized dance floor. With the bands that play there Ive only been disappointed once.An overall great experience.Sincerely, from a frequent patron.

Was a nice bar, bartenders are helpful and nice, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink as they were absolutely slammed as usual. Right on franklin street, nice patio seating and inside. I reccomend hiring someone to go around all night cleaning up beer bottles and mopping up tables as it got pretty disgusting towards the middle of the night.

Friendly service, really good food, nice menu variety, and even live music on a Sunday afternoon.

I have visited multiple times. I have had the Cuban sandwich. I also have had the sundae. The food is good. The service is good.This place is over 21 years old only.

Delicious drinks and food is absolutely amazing! Good service is the only thing thats lacking. We waited a long time to even be waited on! I would definitely go back though.

We have been wanting to try this place a while and finally went in at 6pm on a Saturday night. We were told to sit anywhere, we picked a table, and sat almost 15 minutes with no server. Even though we were passed multiple times by servers, nobody stopped by to bring menus or inquire if we wanted a beer or needed help so we left. Was disappointing, looked like a nice place and we heard the food is excellent; too bad we didnt have any service so I cant really say if it is good or not.

It is a wonderful new place with great atmosphere and mix of people that make it very enjoyable and Lively. Their indoor / outdoor seating with large garage doors open add to the wonderful atmosphere.

Awesome luncheon there. Waitress was great and checked on us often. Neat decor inside. There is a halfway dividing bar area from other seats so I would assume its an option for all ages? So you would want to verify on my say. Love Franklin Street so you can walk around after lunch!

Rockin for sure. Rare night out visiting family. Enjoyed the music...Great Band! Actually better than I expected for Evansville but Im not from here. Great mix of people both young and old came out on a Saturday night...also unexpected but added to a good time. We had three generations and everyone fit in. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. Plenty to do and see.

Chicken tenders were really good but the service is always lacking.

I went here for a department work lunch. It is set up as a kind of upscale place, good portions at a good price. There were 8 appetizers passed around: egg rolls, PB&J wings, onion ring towers, loaded nachos. By the time I was done with appetizers I was getting pretty full. For my meal I got the country fried steak with green beans and onion rings. Country fried steak wasn’t the best I’ve had but pretty good. It was a generous portion, I ate most of it but decided to get a to-go box for the rest. Reasonable drinks: $5 mixed drinks, $2.50 schooners.

What a great spot! The food and atmosphere was amazing! We just ordered off the late night snacks menu and we werent let down! The flavors and the amount we received were great! If it couldnt get any better better the prices after we got our bill was surprisingly affordable! 10/10 will be back again!

Our waiter was great and did his best to suffice us. We waited OVER an hour For CHICKEN STRIPS AND NACHOS. Had to get our food to go. Didnt even get the nachos because they DROPPED THEM.

Fairly new in Evansville indiana. This is a great place to come to play pool and have a few beers or mixed drinks. They recently opened a extended bar and they offer specials for drinks and food. They also have dart boards and very frequently host live country bands. They play a lot of country which is expected for a country bar. The food is delicious, and if you have 2 or more people I recommend the nachos. But anything on the menu is good. The reason Im giving 4 stars is sometimes too have to wait a few minutes for a drink, but other then that its an all around good bar.

Went here this past Fathers day. We were pretty new to the area and were just looking for some good BBQ. So we went on Google and found this place and decided to give it a shot. No where on the door or on the website were we informed it was an actual bar that just happens to serve food.. meaning 21 or over entry. So my wife and kids all go in to the place and seat ourselves at a table for like 25 minutes before being informed we have to leave due to the kids being with us. I have yet to try the food. Which Im sure is great, but not much of a drinker. I will give a 3 instead of a 1 bc the people were nice once they came up to us and I cant justify a 1 due to not properly being aware beforehand.

Really cool environment. Beer was pretty cold. The 3 stars come from the food. The delivery was super fast, due to an almost raw burger. Wasnt asked how I wanted it prepared. Waited too long for someones attention to correct the issue. Might be back, for drinks.

Great staff and atmosphere! Try any of the plate lunches, the Dang Bang Shrimp, the Cuban sandwich, Smokehouse flat bread, the BBQ parfait, the variety of Mac & Cheeses, or the Chicken Strips in honey and I promise you wont regret it. But if.you order the nachos you better have at least four friends to help you because the platter is HUGE!

I love this place down in Franklin Street. I was in town for just a short time visiting my ill father and met my sister and her friends there the food was outstanding the atmosphere thats great whenever Im in town I will come back again!

Been here several Sunday’s in a row. Horrible bar service every time. Bartender is not attentive. Even for a repeat customer. Walks one end of bar to the other and single tasks. Plus bar doesn’t know what it wants to be on sundays. Music. No music. But service is my main complaint. Horrible.

I enjoyed working there until my youngest son passed away unexpectedly and I was fired because I had to take a 3 days off. Smh. I ve never been so destroyed in my life Thanks James..oh yeah the plates y all eat off if still has a film of food from the last customer

Been twice so far. Once on a Live Band Night..that was the greatest atmosphere,service and music on a very busy night. And once in the lunch time for a couple drinks. Great service, bartender, good clean friendly crowd. Prices on the higher end but absolutely worth it

Buds is always great. We had a wonderful lunch of the prime rib sliders and Buds spuds and topped it off with a $5 hot fudge carmel sundae with nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry on top!

Im in my 40s, so Im too old for this crowd, but it was a crowd. This place was rockin. Lots of people, lots of drinking, a good time if you are probably 30 or less.

Very nicely decorated and fun place to go. We just had appetizers, Dang Bang Shrimp, very tasty and chicken wings good but could have been cooked a little longer. The mild sauce was excellent.

Food is amazing! Service is decent. However, dont expect a cold beer, theyll pull a warm mug right out of the dishwasher. (Unless Amber is there, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, youll get a cold one everytime). Also, somedays, theres no manager on duty!

Food is amazing!! Giant portions of your not so typical bar food. The burger with the apple slice is phenomenal. Good beer prices and pool tables. If youre lookin for a relaxing night out with great food, then youll enjoy it here.

Buds may be a fine place for food and drinks, but they are very bad neighbors. Opened not too long ago, with family residential units right next to it. They play loud music until 3:00am that can be heard blocks away. Not cool for people who lived here in peace before they opened. Not to mention, it is a violation of Evansville noise ordinances, but they dont seem to care.

My friends and I were out for a girl’s night and one of the bouncers here was incredibly rude to my friend. She admittedly had too much to drink so they would not let her in (which I totally understand), BUT instead of just saying she could not enter in her condition they laughed at her and said, “this one is a Piston’s special” along with a few other rude comments about her.Again, I’m not complaining they wouldn’t let her in (we went down to Sportsman’s instead), but I thought the comments were unnecessary, rude, and unprofessional.

The food looked amazing and tasted great...It would have been even better if I could have eaten it while it was hot.The service was the most indifferent and inept that I have experienced. I waited 10 minutrs to get my drink, while sitting at the bar, and had to ask to place my food order. Again, food looked amazing, but by the time I just asked for silverware, it was cold. Finally I gave up and asked for a box for my meal. This level of service will be the ruin of a potential great restaurant.
