The environment of this store can’t be matched. We got a beautiful sectional from here, I think last year, and it’s as good as the day we purchased it. The employees give off a family vibe, not only to each other, but to us. My son came home with a stuffed animal from one of the employees- just because! We are very happy with our experience and will return when the need arises.

We went into the store to look for an accent table. The salesman was very pleasant, offering us a drink. My husband and I accepted a coke, which was a nice gesture. We had visited several furniture stores and Simplicity was the only one that offered this service. After looking around, we decided to look for a mattress. The salesman was very knowledgeable on the subject. We decided to buy the mattress. They gave us a great price, and delivered it the same day., They also gave us a mattress protector and gave us a fresh made pie from a bakery, which was delicious. The owner, Pat Coslett was very friendly, adding a personal touch. I highly recommend that you check out Simplicity Furniture, when in the market for furniture, etc. We were very satisified and we will return.

We bought our couch and love seat from here. As soon as you walk in the door, youll be greeted and have the general layout explained. Theyll then let you look around. Eventually, theyll offer you a soda and see if you need assistance. They provide free delivery and old furniture hauling. Plus, they bake you a pie when you have it delivered. Now a pie isnt a reason to buy a couch, but it was a tasty pie. Whenever my friends need new furniture, I always suggest Simplicity.

We went in on June 11 to buy a mattress and box springs. which we did. This is where the wheels came off. We went to order a black chest of drawers and night stand. They said it be in next Friday. We did not hear from them so we called -voice mail. We left numerous of voice mails and text messages we finally got a hold of somebody, who said she will check into it. We had another couple of days of no action, So Justin FINALLYy said they could not find the order. They could not find any record of us being in there. I ask do I need to somewhere else to buy and he said yes.I like to buy local, but with customer service like this I dont know if I be back.

First Id like to say that Im glad to see that they are LBGTQ friendly and I support that very much. Being progressive always makes me smile. But as for the shopping experience to be honest the selections of sectionals left a bit to be desired. But what really was surprising were the prices on most of their furniture. I know the old adage you get what you paid for but to be double the price on a few sofas that looked identical to others we seen at 3 or 4 other stores and seemed to be just as comfy and well built really got our attention right away. And were not novice furniture shoppers weve been at this for a while now. Not our 1st rodeo I guess you could say. The one thing that attracted us to this store were the free delivery and pick up of old furniture. But the pricing must be built into that idea. Friendly people for sure. Neat store lay out as only Pat can do but just didnt realize they were considered like a high end Boslers pricing.

Best furniture store in Evansville. If furniture is what youre looking for Simplicity is the place. They have the best of anything you need. Whats even better is the customer experience. These people know what they are doing when it comes to customer satisfaction. Shopping for furniture can be stressful. They are engaged, help you make decisions but also give you space to decide alone as a family. Delivery guys were so sweet. Called 30 minutes before arriving and even took our old furniture at no charge. All together an awsome company. Top notch service, top notch furniture!!!

This place is Amazing. I can not say enough good things. From the first person to greet us to the delivery team, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. They knew their products and options. They have a wide range of items. We went there for a bed and they hooked us up with a really great deal for a set. Next time I need any furniture I will only be shopping there.

This incident occured in late February, however, I felt compelled to inform other customers of my experience with this store. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! Pat, you were so rude and disrespectful when I asked about my furniture. I purchased two big blue recliners, totaling a little over $1,300, was told they would arrive in 4 weeks, after time passed, was told by the delivery guys that only one chair was on the truck. No one from the store ever even bothered to call me and let me know only one chair came in. Also, I was told, two brand new chairs would be delivered, I waited 4 weeks only to receive the chair that was on display at the store. I went to the store the next day to inquire about my other chair and Pat was so rude, telling me that it was life and I could wait another two weeks to receive the other chair. He couldnt offer a solution or even try to rectify the situation. Maggie, the receptionist said Pat felt attacked. Really?? Because a paying customer, asked when the other chair was going to be delivered?? I told her they could come pick up the chair and refund my money. Pat, you were so rude. As a business owner, you shouldve helped find a solution to this prboblem instead of being rude and walking away. Dont say you gave me that other chair because I had to wait, I didnt ask for that chair, you offered it & I took it being nice. PAT, YOU DIDNT EVEN OFFER AN APOLOGY!! SHAME ON YOU! I will never recommend this store as a place to buy furniture!

I am going to start by saying that Pat is simply one of the most honest people I have met. He told me that I won’t find a better price on his furniture and I tried very hard and I could not. He goes above and beyond for his customers and the quality of the furniture in the store is unbeatable.Every single employee that I’ve met at his store has been extremely nice and helpful. They make you feel right at home. Lots of story’s & jokes!Every bit of the furniture that I have sat on or looked at the quality shows over every other place in town. Very nice stuff!Every other place in town charges for delivery and set up. Pat wants to do it for free and wants to make sure you’re taken care of.You might find “cheaper” furniture but you won’t find a better deal and you won’t find better furniture I promise you that.Give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place to shop for furniture. Everyone was really nice and helpful and I loved how the place is decorated, its very different and something to see.

We stopped in to look at various pieces and left with a beautiful new entertainment center. It can be a little overwhelming at first but if you take the time to just wander (while chatting with the very friendly and helpful employees) youll find hidden treasures like we did! Bonus points for having it already assembled in a box that we were able to load up and leave with that same day!!!

This is our new go-to place for furniture. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The employees are friendly and helpful, going to the extreme to help you make the right decision, we wanted to look at a reclining sofa that had just been received and they went out of their way to get it hooked up so we could try it. We went in an hour before closing and never felt rushed. Along with that, the price was good, they didnt try to sell extra warranty and have free delivery! They even delivered our old couch down the street to a family members house! And THE most important thing for me, we got the sofa the next day. Our usual furniture store and every other store we called was at least 2 weeks before delivery. We got the new furniture in time for everyone visiting for the holidays. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

I am satisfied with the quality of the recliners we bought but am dissatisfied with the flea problem we are battling since buying them. Granted, we have four indoor cats, but we had no flea infestation until the chairs were brought into our home. The recliners we purchased were outside under the tenting. I would not recommend buying anything that has been set outdoors or you will be spending money battling fleas as we are. I am adding the money up and we did not get a good price when considering what we will spend solving our flea problem...less learned!

We were headed down Green River Road to a different furniture store and decided to check Simplicity out. We didn’t make it to the other store. Walked in, told them what we were looking for, they had a huge selection in all price ranges. Even gave us a delicious chocolate pie and some good conversation.

At last, I can get a full night’s rest without getting a sore back.Sometime around age 60 I began to have trouble getting a full night’s sleep. After 5 or 6 hours in bed, my back would start to ache. I thought it must be the 15-year-old mattress I was sleeping on. So I went out and bought a new one. I chose a pillow top option. But it didn’t help. I was out a good deal of money and too embarrassed to admit that I had made a bad purchasing decision. So I just lived with my choice—and my sore back. Fast forward a few years. Back still aching, I decided to make another foray into the world of mattresses. Simplicity opened near my home, and I heard they carried beds. So I stopped in. I explained my plight to the owner. He asked about my sleep habits (I’m a side sleeper) and about my physical condition (I am normal weight and in fairly decent shape, but I do suffer from plantar fasciitis). He seemed to take a sincere interest in solving my sleep problem from a scientific perspective. He let me stretch out on a variety of mattresses in the store. They all felt pretty good. But I said I couldn’t know for sure unless I spent the night on one. No worries, he said, we’ll bring the mattress out and you can sleep on it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. So his guys delivered it and set it up (good crew—extremely courteous and careful) and hauled my old mattress away. I was optimistic. But after a few nights, I could see no improvement in my situation. I slept on the mattress for a full two weeks to see if things might “get better,” but they didn’t. So I went back to the store. This time the owner conferred with one of his associates, Mark, who apparently has helped guys like me in similar situations. He said my problem was likely not the mattress, but the contour of my bed. My best bet would be an adjustable bed to go under the mattress—it would allow me to change the angle of the head and feet. I thought, what have I got to lose? So the crew brought out an adjustable bed and set it up. It’s essentially a steel frame with little motors—you adjust the angles using a remote control. That first night, I elevated both the head and the feet a little,creating a sort of saucer contour. It worked. It was the first night in what seems like forever that I slept a full eight hours without getting a backache. I’ve had my new bed about a month now, and I’ve been sleeping soundly every night and waking up refreshed every morning.
