Super nice and staff was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. This was our first time ever in a range and I had an amazing time. Shooting the machine gun was amazing and having the instructor there coaching but not hovering let me enjoy the experience but still learn something. Just one time going and I think this will be my husbands new hobby. We rented 3 different guns, ammo, range passes and safety for about $150- but honestly it was worth EVERY PENNY Price is WAY cheaper if you bring your own but with their selection something is bound to catch your eye for rental.

Nice place to shoot. Went for my first time with a friend. Had a blast and left feeling like Id learned a few things! Had issues with my ammo and staff was more than glad to help me out and help me figure out what was going on. Will def return! Highly recommend!!

Great place to shot indoors the only issue I have is you feel crammed in to your shooting Bay and no where to put your stuff

Bought 1-on-1 intro training classes for relatives a few months ago and everything went great - I called with questions, got everything set up, paid for it, and was impressed with how helpful and courteous the sales person was. My relatives enjoyed the class very much and also commented very favorably on the instructor who taught them.Because the first class went so well, I wanted to buy them another class, but I wasnt sure from the website which one was next - presumably theres some kind of order - or if I should get another 1-on-1 that could be tailored a little more to their needs and goals.Called again to ask questions, and led off with I have some questions about training classes..., but this time was told by the salesperson that ...everything is on our website, all the information on the classes, how to pay, you can just get it there.... I started to inquire further when he asked, Or are you looking for 1-on-1 training?.My intent was to get a 1-on-1 session, so I replied Yes, but... and was interrupted before I could get the rest of my question out, about other potential options for what I was looking for, and told ...thats all on the website too.I was left feeling more than a little frustrated and felt like I had just been dismissed. I honestly didnt know what the best option might be and was hoping to get some advice on specifically what to buy given their current level of expertiseThe website most certainly did not answer my questions, and my own limited firearms experience prevented me from making decisions on my own that I would have felt confident about.I would have rated this at one star had it not been for the unconditionally positive experience with the staff the first time around. I couldnt do a 2.5 and I wasnt about to go up to three, so two stars it is.Based on all the other positive reviews, I truly hope my first experience with Rudys, and not this last one, is more indicative of what to expect from them.

Very acceptable range, I was in town for a visit and we decided for some impromptu range time. Employees were considerate and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars was very limited selection of ammunition for purchase. Also, lanes were a bit narrow as compared to my home facilities in Indianapolis and there were no off firing line tables for range bags or supplies. I would not hesitate to repeat when I return to Evansville. Thanks guys.

Unbelievable staff! ALL of them are knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. I would - and do - recommend Uncle Rudys to anyone and everyone. They have a multitude of guns available for you to rent, hearing and eye protection available, an archery range and even a simulator room! Plus, they have NRA certified instructors that teach a plethora of classes. The facility is always clean, bright and inviting. John Uncle Rudy and his wife and staff are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

We were so beyond excited to finally get a indoor shooting range here in Evansville! Ross has been one of the BEST staff members weve worked with. He has so much knowledge and experience with guns and can explain things in a way that makes sense. He is always so welcoming and takes pride in being able to help you find exactly what you need in any purchases you make at there store. I love going to this range and appreciate the owners support of helping all people in our community have a better understanding and appreciation for guns . If you are looking for a great local indoor range to go to this is it!

My third trip here this time I took my wife as she just got a new gun. Was great to test it there & we got help on calibrating her laser scope.After you do your initial sign up which would take between 15-30 min depending on people there & how fast you type. Rest goes smoothly.Super friendly & helpful staff.Thank you

We bring our child here regularly to shoot in the archery range. Its a great place. The staff are so kind & friendly. We always enjoy the time there. Prices are very reasonable.

I love this place! I found the staff to be very courteous, friendly and most definitely helpful. Well-disposed creating a safe atmosphere for everyone around. And though I have met the entire crew (almost) I like approaching Patrick, a very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly member of the team! Overall, I was made to feel very welcome!

Great facility. Located conveniently on east side. Staff is amazing. Steve R was a delight especially with helping train my friend on gun safety, dos and donts of the range and general safety with him. From what I thought was going to be another typical day at the range turned out to be a pretty nice experience, would highly recommend anyone to go to Uncle Rudys

As I was in a lane preparing to shoot I turn around to see a lady with a gun pointed at me. There was no range officer present but some one had went to get one from the store front for another problem. I told the officer that she was not keeping her weapon pointed down range she should have been removed. They ask you to sign a release that was written by a lawyer for a reason!

This was our first time to visit, and we will go back. My wife (who had never shot before) took me for our anniversary. She has never shot or handled a gun. Both Brett and Patrick took time to help answer and explain any questions we had. Both were very patient and helpful in showing her the proper technique.

Nice facility, engaged staff. Be careful that you read all the small print on release/waiver form that everyone must sign. The business assigns all responsibility ($$$) for anything that happens in the range (in regards to damage to range equipment and fixtures no matter how minute) to you. If you are aware and willing to accept this risk, you will probably really come to like the staff and owners

Prompt call back upon a bad call that rang into oblivion. The man on the phone was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and eager to answer all my questions. Pretty competitive on ammo too. Definitely sounds like a safe and reliable place to shoot. Great job guys.

My 17 year-old, very liberal daughter, asked me to take her to Rudys so she could learn how to properly shoot a weapon. I immediately reached out to Steve Rayman, who is ridiculously educated in this very subject and works at Uncle Rudys, and we set up a time to shoot. The process from reading the waiver, the video, personal gun-safety demonstrations and attention inside the shooting area was intense, perfect, hands on and thorough. She loved it and I appreciated the careful attention Steve provided. Check it out!

Took my wife and kids for archery. While my wife and I used the fring range .The kids used archery for free and cost us a reasonable price.This is my third time here and of course friendly staff.

Came in from out of town with my girlfriend who is from Evansville. Decided to take a swing by and get some range time in as I shoot at home every week. The range is great and very clean. The staff is very very nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I can see stopping by every time I am in town. Top notch operation.

What a great place to go and unload a few! Ross has helped my family and I with answering many of our questions we have had about all things guns. I highly recommend Uncle Rudys for anyone in and out of town as they have the nicest staff and have a very clean establishment.

I have been to this fine facility a number of times. General Manager Steve Rayman and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I am thankful that we have such a place on the east side of town. I would would recommend this firing range to anyone who wants to visit a modern facility with knowledgeable and caring staff!

I have been to Uncle Rudys many times since they opened.Each and every time I entered the building I was greeted by the General Manager Steve Rayman with a genuinely friendly hello and welcome back or nice to see you Dave and a handshake.I know of very few places anyone can go these days and have the GM be up front with the customers and calling you by name is most refreshing.Steve is training his staff the old fashioned way with courtesy and respect and clearly choosing safety over sales every time.Prices are terrific at Uncle Rudys and when coupled with the enjoyment and respect shown regularly Im certain that Steve and his crew will be entrenched a long long time helping others to become safe and effective shooters.My heartfelt thanks Steve and to the entire group at Uncle Rudys.Dave Ellenstein

Love it! Love it! Love it!Reasonable prices. Neat and clean facility. Top it off with a helpful and friendly staff (shout out to Steve Rayman) plus the fact you get to shoot stuff, and you really cant ask for anything more.I will advise anyone planning to go: get on their website and do the paperwork online before you go. You can do it easily, even from a smartphone. This will save time once you arrive so you can start making piles of brass that much faster.
