Hosted a kids birthday here. It was perfect! We didnt have to do anything other than order the food. They handled all the set up when food was delivered. The space is already cute enough that you dont need to do any decorating to make it fun. The kids had a blast, the adults loved it too. The actual play area is more for really young kids, but the slightly older kids had fun drawing on the chalkboard. If I did it again I might do a craft activity for the older kids, but I didnt feel like we needed it.

My toddler loves this place! We’ve been there only on Fridays because I look forward to the Spanish lessons they offer that day.It’s super cute, clean, and friendly.Plus, free coffee and tea for adults!

Gather used to be a wonderful place for moms and littles, however I am so sad to see that it is not at all what it used to be. The space is not clean (toys, bathrooms) and the staff is extremely inattentive. The play area is sparse compared to what it once was and the toys that they do have are worn and in disrepair. During my last visit the attending staff member sat up front and conversed with her friends the entirety of my stay, it struck me as very unprofessional and also negligent to the children and families that were there to enjoy the space and activities. Sad that this is no longer the bright gem in Evanston that it used to be.

Fun place to stop when theres nothing to do and need to get out of the house.

It has funny toys and spaces for the kids to play. Its always clean and organized and the staff is very nice!

We love it here. So much easier to manage two kiddos of different ages than the larger playplaces. Gather has the best train table in town!

Such a cute place. I love all the different activities for the little ones to do. From music to art to imaginative play, this place can keep my little ones busy for quite some time, giving me that inkling of “downtime”.

This place is great. As out of towers, we met others there and it was a prefect afternoon for the kids to play and learn and the adults to gather.They had painting, play.doh, dress up and toys. 5 stars!

Its a family playspace and enrichment center, primarily for 0-5 year olds. Also with music and language classes. Check it out!

This is a great place for little ones to play. Only problem is the parking is horrible. It took us 15 min just to find a spot to park and it all costs money.

We love coming to Gather. The atmosphere is creative and calm, with an opportunity to create art anytime! Gather also hosts many great registered and drop in classes, such as music, art, soccer, yoga, and cooking! The facility is clean and has plentiful toys for imaginative play! This is our favorite play spot on the north side!

We come into town once or twice a year to visit family and ALWAYS make this one of our first stops. The place is beyond clean and exceptionally well maintained. Staff is incredibly friendly and always has some neat activity going that is fun for a wide age group. A wide variety of toys and play areas keeps the interest of even the most easily distractible child. If I could give Gather more than five stars, I would.

This is our favorite place to go! Weve been coming since 12 months old and now even with a three and a half year old we are still having a blast. Angela, the owner, makes this place feel like home and always has different creative projects and classes. Highly recommended and not over-stimulating like most play places for young kids. Great for birthday parties and baby showers too!

Great cute place in Evanston. My son has a lot of fun and constantly lots of kids for him to interact and learn from. Also its small enough that parents are forced to keep an eye on their children so I dont have to be a parent to someone elses kid that tries to grab something out of my sons hand, which happens at another play space in skokie.

Gather is a unique place for little and big people to play, make art and meet new friends. I go often with my two year old. The toys are imaginative and engaging, the coffee is delicious (and free) and I can connect with other parents and caregivers. The space is relaxing and welcoming. I love Gather!

Small. Nice activities for kids. But a small place, so if crowded, not worth going to.

Weve been coming here since my daughter was three months old! Its a wonderful, warm space, easy to spend hours here. My daughter is now almost 3, and we still love it. Toys, activities, crafts, events and classes for all ages, at an all inclusive price. Free coffee too!

Gather is a great destination for parents and their small children. We go often and the kids are always engaged in imaginative play and fun art activities. The staff is super and always makes us feel at home.
