We LOVE this park!! We love that theres a sandpit! Its family friendly and since it is tucked back in a neighborhood, no weirdos or homeless walking around. It has large grassy areas to run/play/picnic. We feel very safe, its very clean and maintained and lots of kiddos running around - but not packed either!
Id really like to rate this lower to keep it low profile but this is the finest park in north-west Eugene. A major reason for this is the new neighborhood. The number one reason is that there arent any sizable homeless camps nearby so the place isnt overrun. Lots of two parent families show up here, a sand pit for younger kids, acreage for family sports and picnics, filbert trees, basketball, tables, this place is fantastic.
Just visiting? Great 0lace to stop and have lunch and let the kids run around not many people usually
Probably my favorite park (except no bathroom ) in Eugene because its hardly ever crowded, its quiet it has a water/sand feature, big kid vs little kid play structure, swings and interactive paths picnic tables, no BBQ :( nice landscaping and lots of grass, theres also a grass hill. You could bring cardboard, chalk, a kite, sand toys, gallons of tap water, picnics, bikes, skateboards, skates, bubbles, soccer balls, foot balls, frisbees, ECT just minus a star for no potty....Otherwise 5*
It is a clean park and great outdoor playground equipment.
One of our favorite park for years.. great for ages 2-10 in my opinion as far as the play area goes. The sand tends to be cleaner than most other parks in town. Super sad the actual Filberts are extremely scaled back due to home construction everywhere around the park lately, but still a fun little oasis!
Pretty bland. Its okay but it seems like the city planners rolled their eyes and threw some parky stuff in a rectangle just so they meet whatever requirements they have to meet. It looks like a decent place if you have small children. Bigger kids will probably get bored. Theres a big field on which nobody seems to play frisbee or football or soccer or whatever else youd think would happen on it. Its not unpleasant, but I challenge you to walk through it and be able to describe the place 15 minutes later.
Nice playground. Nice lawn.Would give it 5 stars, but what kind of park doesnt have a bathroom, not even a port-a-potty?
A wonderful little neighborhood pocket park. During the early morning hours local residents bring their dogs for a morning play session. In the summer months families from around the area can be found enjoying the sun playing field sports on the wide lawn of the park.
Our favorite quiet park. Almost didnt want to review so it stays quiet
You can jump off the swings really high
Great play structure for both toddlers and bigger kids. Has a playhouse, water/sand table, swings, benches, basketball court...
One of the best parks in Eugene!
Me and my friends love to hang out there and play music, no one seems to complain to us about our music.
Great community park. The Grand kids loved it.
Great place for kids!! Well kept up!!
Welp. Was nicer when there was a FILBERT orchard right there.
Its secluded, easy access to the water, clean campground, great swimming in the summer. And in winter, easy access to the lake bed which is great for walking the dogs, clean lots of trails for hiking, great view.
Nice. Place clean
Nice park with a small playground. Beautiful filbert trees and plenty of squirrels playing in them. Nice area for letting children play or playing sports. Plenty of room for a walk with your dog. Filbert Meadows is a nice setting for relaxation or walking the dog, yet remains a small park without many amenities.
Pretty nice. No bathroom.
Wonderful playground!! Sandbox, swings, teeter totter!! Take my grandaughter Addison here sometimes!! Nice and clean.
I really love the playground, as do my kids. But theres no toilets here. Makes it especially hard when were potty training.
Cute little park in a secluded neighborhood. Only drawback is no bathroom!
Very nice park with running water and sand pit for the kids to make sand castles.
All the grass is dead and dry and scratchy, and theres no bbq, but otherwise not a bad park. Not great, but not bad.
Its a great place to relax and have a good time with the family
Its a park. Theres a basketball hoop, playground structure with bark, and smaller playground structure with sand for smaller kids. Lots of grassy areas for other activities and a few scattered picnic tables. Not especially shady, but this partly depends on the time of day
The beach sand area is clean. The equipment is new and my children love to go there.
I wish there was more shade around the park benches, but other than that, kids enjoy playing here
Great place to hang out with my kids, but doesnt have a restroom
Nice quiet park
It made my daughter happy
Quiet, clean, safe, well maintained
This is a lovely park in a neighborhood.
Nice park. Wish it had restrooms.
Filberts all around
Always friendly people there
