Round 1 Bowling & Amusement is an arcade / fun zone much appreciated in the greater Eugene Metro area. Located out at VRC, this gigantic & colorful box-super-arcade has everything that both kid and adult alike would want from an establishment such as this. Multiple party rooms for birthdays and other events? Check. Food court area, including a full bar with seating? Check. MarioKart, Sonic, & Bomberman games - all ready to play with friends & family? Check Check. Prices are a little on the expensive side, but nothing to write home about. All in all, this establishment is a great addition to a community already full of families & students. 4 out of 5 Stars!
My family and I had a wonderful experience tonight, thanks to Miranda! She went above and beyond showing us all of the games we wanted to play; and was a great help directing us to the photo booths. I can see her being a manager one day. I can’t wait to come back again, knowing there will be such good costumer service. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Lots to do here! They have plenty of arcade games and a large selection of claw games as well as other semi-skill related games. They also ha e Bowling and Billiards too. There is a bar for the adults and a food court for snacks. Currently they are limiting the amount t of people to 80 at a time. You may ha e to wait outside for a while to get in so come prepared.
This Place is a covid outbreak waiting to happen!!!! Staff spends too much time walking around then cleaning equipment that is being touched by many hands right after another person is done. Over priced. I would spend your money at Putters or somewhere else. Unimpressed with the place, staff and management.
This place is Huge and Very Chaotic! The lines were insane, but it just opened so that is to be expected. It can be a bit overwhelming to be honest. Super loud, super crowded, and a bit wild! We Spent an hour checking it all out and then decided we would rather go to Putters. It is a lot more chill and cheaper. This feels like an indoor Carnival. So many games everywhere. The cost is pretty intense. Make sure to download the app for a chance at discounts. The party rooms were pretty cool. They have tables and a TV with Karaoke set up. I think the package deals are pretty good $35 for a group of at least 10 people on the Weekends and cheaper Monday-Thursday. Be expecting to spend quite a bit.. Its as if visiting a small indoor amusement park in a way. The Ping Pong Tables, Pool Area, and Bowling alley are off to the sides so you can enjoy those and block out some of the crowd. I havent tried the food, but will update my review when I have spent more time.
Truly blessed to finally have a good arcade in town Been waiting for the day we got a DDR cab in town again. Was an extra bonus to see they are Dance Evolution and Project Diva??? (Only things that would make it even better would be if they got PopnMusic or Para Para Paradise ) Plus the dollar ice cream is super nice. Friendly staff, see them cleaning the machine frequently.Glad to have an arcade that has more rhythm games.
Round1 is an amazing place full of a wonderful range games. The claw machines are so unique! I love coming back for all the plushies and happy memories Ive made here so far
Was told to turn around at the bar so the bartender couldnt see me do a shot due to covid? Very weird atmosphere herr
This was my first time here. I love it. Amazing place for kids and adults alike. Had so much fun!
I love Round1, and this is the 4th one I have visited. Be it so, during Covid-19, I was extremely impressed by the staff and crew here. Less than normal people because of the pandemic; their cleaning procedure was top-notch. I do recommend putting the two Dancerush Stardom platforms side-by-side though so people can versus each other. Ill be going back for sure!
About time we got something this much fun in town. Highly recommend checking this place out. Its fun, clean and they sell food too.
Pay attention to the crane games. they have the ability to adjust the tension in the games. It can depend on winning or loosing.
I have been to a lot of Round 1 across the country. This particular Round 1 is absolutely the worst. The environment is fine, and the store is doing a great job keeping everything clean. However, the quality of arcade games and crane games are vaguely below expectation.Ill just leave some information here regarding the crane games. Every single crane machine has a tally counter inside. The number on the counter shows the total amount of winnings from the machine. Counter starts either from 0 or 10. The number is reset every month or everything in the machine has been won. Just walk around the store and see all but two machines are not at 0 makes me think how rigged this place is.But this is not the case. The cranes are not rigged at all, and they can be won based on skill. However, the low winning rate is actually solely due to how poorly the machines are maintained and how bad the games are designed.
You could spend an enormous amount of time in this place. Dave and Buster like, our whole family had fun
Took our 21 month old here to have some fun. There isn’t much for them to do. He was able to play a few of the arcade games but not many. There is no kid play area. We didn’t try the food or bowling.
It is unfortunate for a new location to start operating in a beyond low expectation. Most mechanics are not experienced and not knowing anything about the arcade machines. The management does not seem trained and they are usually playing dumb. Most importantly few of the employees seems to be enjoying their positions...I have encountered endless amout of crane machines malfunctioning, and their fix are usually turn off. Sometimes they do not refund malfunctions either, I am currently forced to video record all my plays. On top of that, you better not winning too many ticket game jackpots because they can bar you from redemption as well. Make sure to beat my high scores because apparently I got too much attention by squatting the leaderboard thanks.
Only arcade that actually imports Japanese games WITH online service, very fun place to go if youre into rhythm games or just casual bowling and normal american arcade games
I have never been treated so poorly in my life, let alone my children. I informed the manager that we were being treated rudely by the bowling staff, and she proceeds to interrupt me yelling that she doesn’t do refunds. My children were crying by the time we left due to their unprofessional and dehumanizing behavior.
It seems many machines were broken or turned off. We played pool for an hour and upon returning cues and balls the kid at the counter refused to return my drivers license unless I brought back the chalk. You cant legally hold my state issued license over .05 cent cube of chalk. I almost raised a fuss but the kid probably didnt know any better.
Good for nostalgia . . . That’s about it. None of the machines that give toys actually work. I have multiple videos of different claw/ufo machines. It doesn’t matter where you grab a toy, the thing just opens up as it rises instead of carrying the toy up. Half the games in this place have instructions in Chinese (or Japanese, I can’t really tell.) The prizes require a LOT of tickets. I’d rather buy a prize instead of spending 100+$ to play and win nothing but pop toys and Chinese finger games.
Kids had fun, alot of money grab games spent 200 bucks in an hr so the kids had some fun, kids like their food so thats a plus
Excellent staff... Even though they were at capacity, the gaurd at the door was willing to learn about service dog ediqute (with enthusiasm) as we waited for admission. We got in to bowl and they were also very mindful of the amount of noise and lights they used, asking if the dog would be bothered before they activated thier sound system and strobes. The facilities were impressively clean and the equipment was very well maintained.
They did spacing for food and no wandering with it well but otherwise people could be as close as they wanted and I definitely was breathed on in more than a couple occasions.
This place is great! Had tons of fun and didnt really spend a ton of money. Well worth the time spent!
Had fun on the games but the claw machines could have better grip.
Had a blast with the family. Staff was helpful whenever there was a problem with the games. Will definitely go back.
Fun place. A bit pricey but really the only place like it. Recommend if you have to get a card go to the store side kiosk usually less busy. Also worth getting the membership at least in my opinion.
Pretty Excited that I got see you see this place. There was a vast majority of arcade games, the bowling alley looked spectacular, and the food was great. I especially loved the fighting games they had there, because they are that really wanna get into.Round 1 really impressed me, and I wish to see more from them. Thanks for coming to Eugene.
I would not recommend this place. I waited a long time for my food, and I know Im not the only person who had this issue. I was walking over to an employee to speak about this and saw that she was engaged with another customer making a complaint about his food not being fully cooked after a long wait and wanting a refund. I stepped away from them so as not to make her feel like she was being ganged up on. A few minutes later I saw this other customer had returned to where he was sitting. As I went to look for the woman so that I could address my late order, I saw security escorting the other customer out. I found her talking with some other customers and I heard her say that if they could find their friend, they would refund his food. I cant say for sure if this relates to the same person, but if it doesnt then having multiple complaints where a refund is being requested in such a short time definitely reflects poorly on the establishment. My food eventually arrived and it was tolerable. Nothing to get excited over. Bowling was alright, albeit expensive.
This place is unreal. I wait in line for the bar for 20 minutes, then to get my drink and told I can’t have it on the floor because it’s a mixed drink? Okay, that’s fine, it’s past midnight I’ll just drink it by the bar. No, now the bar and food area closes in 15 minutes at 1:10 and you have to CHUG your drink. What? Lines are filled to the brim with only one worker, no way am I coming back here. Do NOT go to this place with adult friends, kids maybe but this place is poorly managed. Good luck.
Very questionable decisions have been made on a management and employee basis. Before the review continues, my understanding of arcade games, how they work, and how to fix them come from spending thousands at my actual local round 1 as well as owning and fixing my own Japanese arcade controllers and fill setups. The mechanics DO NOT know what they are doing outside of possibly one. Claw machines are one of the simplest things to fix/control in Round 1 and it was extremely sad to watch x2 management and x2 mechanics result into turning machines off in which should have been a simple fix of increasing the crane movement range. It required over 5 hours to have SOMEONE...ANYONE...after asking over 6 employees to turn the Wacca cabinet 30 degrees so that my hands would not smack the cabinet next to me as well as distance myself from the MaiMai cabinet inches away from me.Sanitation and safety was also extremely questionable. I watched several employees not actually wipe down the cabinets and place the this station has been sanitized stickers. Also, if you are going to clean the balls for something like skeeball, the whole point of that goes out the window if you do not clean the surface the balls roll on. The cleaning method of these games are just to sanitize the ball, throw it down the lane, and call it a day. Also specific cabinets such as MaiMai were on with inches of space between each other. Its interesting how some games (like Dancerush or Wacca) that have 2 cabinets facing opposite directions have only one running while others that are right next to each other with no logical way to distance are turned on.Management is a whole other issue and possibly the most concerning and frustrating one. General conversation-wise, they are fine but the moment one of their machines come into question, they become extremely skeptical about anything you say even when youre able to talk about the exact issue and how to fix it. I have a recorded incident where one of the crane games in which you hit a button to stop a light at a line in order for a bar to drop possibly allowing the plushy to fall down. After successfully hitting the correct spot multiple times, the bar never fell making the game impossible. Staff was contacted and were insanely skeptical and refused to refund. More credits were spent in order to record and prove that the machine was not working as intended. We walked up to management with a recording to discuss the problem since we had proof of the error. NOTICE management can easily check the history of your card swipes to confirm what and how many times you played on a machine. Instead of refunding me the play credits, I was asked to talk to them tomorrow when they clocked in in order to get ONE SWIPE at any crane game I wanted. The one swipe also means absolutely nothing when staff never properly readjust the crane games to a viable way to win. So at the end of the day, I did not get a single credit back and had to trust their word.I arrived the next day and the managers were not clocked in until about 3 hours after opening. When I/we finally talked to the assistant manager Coby, he told me that next time I need to record the top and bottom of the machine in order to truly prove that it was not working EVEN THOUGH the issue at hand was clearly and undoubtedly shown. He started his next sentence with, But since we provide good customer service Ill give you a swipe on any crane game youd like which is pretty much the extreme bare minimum of what to do when theres evidence of a product not working as intended and literally tested AND RECORDED multiple times for literally the benefit of their company to fix the machine. On top of all of this, a friend of mine has been barred from redeeming anything from the prize shop due to using my card which has never been an issue before and consent to use my card was given. I assume this was an excuse to bar him redeeming high value prizes due to his efficiency in farming tickets since this has NEVER been an issue at any other R1.
My mom got into an altercation with 2 employees. We had food from the outside, not allowed but we didnt pay attention, thats our fault. It would have been easy to tell my mother no food or drink and ask that she drink it outside before coming in. But these two employees chose to scream at her and rudely ask if she could read.I got a full refund on my bowling and was accommodated by the manager. Im grateful it didnt escalate and that we recieved better service and an apology for the rude mishap.
Dave and Busters is one of my favorite spots to visit, and this place is about as close as I can get in Lane County. I visited on opening weekend and enjoyed the variety of games they had to offer and liked the fact that they had a full bar. The ordering kiosks seemed to have a problem, and a few games I wanted to try were down with error messages but I still thought this place was cool. Hopefully they can keep it clean and inviting when the crowds die down a bit.
Its definitely overpriced from the bowling side of it, no question. For just five people to bowl one game with shoe rentals it was $45. If you are just wanting to bowl, save yourself money and go to Emerald Lanes instead. The arcade here, while still overpriced in my opinion, was quite large and had a lot of games to choose from. The party packs seemed to be reasonably priced considering the collateral they had up said it was all you can eat, drink, and play for $23/ person for 2 hrs.I doubt that we will go there very often with prices so high but it might be a good spot for birthday parties.
Kids had fun but i didnt like that the employees went behind the kids at the claw machines and re-adjusted the animals. Made it very hard for the kids to wiil prizes. Also wish they would have hour prices.
This place was way too much fun, and actually not as expensive as i thought it would be. Brand new, clean, top of the line games and equipment, and my kids lost their minds. The food isnt great for the price, but alcohol prices were reasonable. Money well spent.
It was pretty fun. We went on a Sunday only a week or 2 after it opened and it was packed. 6 Lanes of bowling, 4 ping pong tables in an enclosed area to keep track of the balls, 8 billiards tables. Lots of video games and claw machines all through the middle area. The food court was decent sized. Beers on tap and the pizza smelled good. All the machines take a little credit card thing instead of cash.
The place is loaded with TONS to do. You could easily be busy here for hours. It would be fun to come with just a friend or two or even a larger group.Im not sure if this is usually what happens, but we came as a mid-size group late Monday night, but found that the drinks and food closed at 11:30, bowling closed at 1:00, and the games closed at 1:30/1:45. Im not really sure why they advertise theyre open till 2am, if theyre going to close everything down much earlier than that. We walked out at 1:50 and I very much felt like we were being ushered out. Its still a fun, great place, but maybe not the best option for later week nights.
The people working in Food and Drinks forgot about our food for over 30 minutes, and after several customers were served I complained about the issue. Staff stated I would receive a refund as well as my food, however management quickly approached me to tell me that they did not intend to actually honor their staffs claim that I would receive a refund due to poor service. The games are cool but the efficiency is lacking in major ways. The staff are rude, and they do not understand what customer service looks like.I would trade a homeless man my shoes for trash-can soup before I tried to eat at Round 1 again.
Bowled on lane 4 in Eugene Oregon. The center length of the lane was crowned and balls easily curved left or right when roll straight. Was also given a paper that stated you you get a prize if you bowled a higher score in a second game which I did. When I contacted the employee regarding the prize they said corporate had not told them what was to be given so there was no prize. Many arcade games were not working. I’ll skip this place in the future and will be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.
Zero stars... place is overpricedFood UNDERCOOKEDIt’s being ran by kids.Paid $45 for a party room for 1 hour and the food took about 45 minutes. When we finally got our pizza it was cold and doughy and we rushed ate because we only had 15 minutes left in the room. We complained that the food wasn’t done and we were told there is nothing they can do about it. Beer isn’t allowed in the private rooms that you pay for but it’s allowed EVERYWHERE ELSE. Makes no sense. People were leaving their beers on the arcade games so kids have access to em but we can’t have beer in our private room that we paid for? Security and employees walked past our party room about 100 times staring in. They came in twice and interrupted us singing happy birthday to our son to tell us about beer not being allowed in the party rooms.Like we were throwing a WILD party or something. It was a little birthday party for our 2 year old. Only 4 kids and a few adults. If you rent the party room and want to get your ID back that they hold BRING YOUR OWN GARBAGE BAGS because they don’t provide trash cans in or near the rooms and expect it to be cleaned! When we asked for trash bags the employee was so rude and treated us terribly. After our time was up in the party room we ended up just leaving.Manager is under qualified and the employees were rude.Worst experience!!!Definitely won’t be ever coming back to this place!
Excellent service, many activities including: arcade games, ping pong, bowling, pool, and theres even a bar. Coming this spring people will be able to make reservations for parties (birthdays, celebrations, ect.). And for the adults entertainment, there is even a bar. The hours that Round 1 is open goes from 10am to 2am, which can contribute to adult and childrens fun time.
Lots to do: bowling, table tennis, pool, and a huge selection of arcade games. The food wasnt prices badly either, although portions were rather small. Overall it was a really fun place to spend a few hours.
Went here with a few friends we had fun but the lines where pretty lengthy and it was a bit expensive
Traveled from Roseburg to visit. Bowled and attempted to play games. Over 10 game machines were not working. None of the kiosks worked. While standing in line for sodas, the employees take cash with gloves on and then serve food with same gloves, to include making ice cream. Absolute food service violation. Lots of young people (employees) standing around chatting while customers standing for 15-20 minutes waiting to get food. Shame that you have to buy a card for games & you get charged a fee to load the cards. We needed 4 cards cost an extra $2 for every card. Won’t return.
Reminded me of the Mall of Americas arcade but hyper sized. With unique games from Japan, karioke, 12 bowling lanes, a bar, and a fast food dining area. It seemed that they didnt leave out anything regarding indoor games? Terrific place for when one dreads the wet weather outside.
Management was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Go to Level Up in Eugene if you want a good experience. Round One is not it...
One important thing to know about Round1: this is a chain that started in Japan and is getting its footing here in the US. This is important because one of the target demographics in my opinion is going to be the anime fans, those most interested in Japanese culture, those who have watched videos of crane games and shelled out big bucks to import high quality plushies and figures for years. The plushies in particular are very difficult to find in the states. The one I won today on just under $5 in credits sells for about $35-40 plus shipping to import from Japan. That alone makes Round1 WELL worth the price. These arent your run of the mill cheaply made prizes, these are collector quality plushes. Ive envied these crane games for years and never imagined Id get to play them right here in Eugene. Plus all of the Japanese games that youll find NOWHERE else, that are often more fun than US games, makes this place unique and well worth visiting. And if youre not into the Japanese stuff theres plenty of American type arcade games as well, and some of them give huge payouts for tickets to win the fantastic prizes. Ive earned 400 tickets in 1.5 hrs of play and had fun doing it. Theres something for everyone here--talk about bang for your buck! I did have a game break today and I let them know I was on my way to work and that was my last game for the day. They refunded my credits no problem at all.
Went early evening with a group of adults to have adult beverages and do some karaoke/bowling. Was way too busy with hour long waits in line. Came back at midnight for “over 21” time. Went to do karaoke only to find out that you can not have adult beverages in the karaoke room. Ok, so no karaoke for us! Went to get a drink at the bar and had to wait more than half an hour to get to the bar to order and there was less than a dozen people in front of us. There was only one bartender and he was spending almost 5 minutes making each drink. They had a security guard shut down the bar line at 12:30 and gave last call for food at the same time. So there was only a half hour between “adults only” and when they stop the line for alcohol and food. They did a “last call” for games at 1:20 and shut down all card readers at 1:30! And they immediately started ushering people out. If you’re “open” until 2:00 you shouldn’t be kicking people out at 1:30!Our group was excited to go because all of the things we wanted to do were there, but you couldn’t get a drink and they closed right after “adults only”!! We will not be returning!!!
The staff seems either absent or does t want to do their jobs. High priced garbage service. Never coming back
Awesome arcade, great pool tables!
Cool new place in valley river center. The place is like a Dave and Busters but they add a bowling alley so it can be a great place to come and have fun with the whole family.
It was fun to visit, but let the initial shininess wear off: the sheer crowds that are interested in visiting make it really hard to enjoy any individual aspect for an extended period. That said, the plushies in the machines are cute, fun, or downright silly.
Awesome place to take the kids. Glad this place came to Eugene. A little pricey but worth it once in awhile. Family had fun.
Great place to burn some cash if you can afford it. Now that may seem a bit facetious but it is expensive, however the place is fun. They have a couple of my favorite arcade games and once you get the hang of (and with a little observation,) the claw machines and push machines can be pretty rewarding to play. Bowling, pool, and various other activities for everyones tastes. Only real complaints are the aforementioned cost of it all and it gets a bit crowded and loud.
You need to want to spend a lot of money. When you go there. The crawl machine are hard to win. It is a fun place if you would to spend you hard earned money.
DELICIOUS pizza but very SLOW service and most of the workers were either rude or unhelpful. Its all about attitute and they dont have it. Although, this place is so much fun. Had a blast people say it is expensive but all places like that are. Good times and great pizza
Went to try to see why my game card was not working and it turns out the lady sold me a “green card” that only lets you play certain games so I wanted to refund that for a normal card so she called the manager and he was completely rude from the start telling me that He can not do a refund of any kind so then I asked if I could just buy the other card separately and he told me that I could lose my attitude or he’s not giving me anything. Completely unprofessional and rude. After the lady us that they can do refunds, he just refused.
Nice new spot in Eugene for people to gather and have fun. Still brand new with kinks to work out, but great for kids to spend $ and hang out with friends. Adult beverages and bowling!!
Facility is clean, occasionally loud. Cant eat while bowling, have to wear masks while bowling even though each group of people are more than 6 ft apart. Inconvenient and illogical.
It’s pretty fun. And it has a wide selection of games to play. But you do need someone 18+ to go bowling/Ping pong/ Pool
Just walked around to check out this new place. Very interesting and different looking arcade games which give out tickets for winning which can be redeemed for prizes. Bowling alley, lot of different crane machines that give hints to help you grab prizes and food areas. Many other things to play. No picture taking allowed without permission which is kind of odd.
Very fun and entertaining! I rated 4 because some of the claw games have no force at all. But besides that they have a walking dead dead shooting thing, and star wars one that was out of order, and a million more!
This was a fun experience for me, I like the games that include exersize. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review is the price and addictive games. Id say 20 dollars is an ammount that would get a half hour to a hour. Plus 2$ activation fee.
Great place for bowling, great place for karaoke, great place for parties, great place for games, great place for arcades, great place for food including but not limited to $0.99 ice cream it like Japans version of an adult Chuck E. Cheeses ideal for fun and entertainment for almost all hours on end.
If youre looking for a serious game of bowling dont come here. The TVs at the end of the lanes are very distracting and dont get me started on the intercom system that blades put ready orders as youre on your approach. Bowling is really an afterthought here. The addition of different game modes like horse and angry birds is fun but not for serious bowlers.
I gotta bring this down to a single star. My SO bought 750 credits on opening day (including the bonus) and spent probably about 3-400 of that. Just a few days later, her first time back, she swipes the card and there are 0 credits on there. Management could only offer a measly 50 back even though they have acces to the transaction record. I’m not sure their systems are up to snuff and if they’re gonna glitch out on that many credits, it might not be worth it.
Drove down from Salem on February 12 only to find it wasnt open yet. Some indication SOMEWHERE online of its grand opening on February 15 would have been nice before I invested half a day to come here.
This place is amazing! A little bit over priced and understaffed but its brand new and to be expected. Lots of games straight from Japan. Food is so so. Atmosphere is A1. They need hand sanitizer though... Like really bad. Lots of germs there. Thats why they got 4 out of 5. Needs hand cleaning stations or hand sani.
Its amazing. So many things to do. 99 cent ice crem cones were huge!. Well be back for sure.
Extremely packed and chaotic atmosphere, long lines, expensive prices. They did just open so the first two can be over looked but game and food costs are absurd. So loud that I cannot hear the person next to me. The games are predominantly japanese that youve probably never heard of. $10 for ping pong, $45 for bowling. Overall its a cash grab that will leave you disappointed and your wallet empty.
Funny and a large variety of games. Needs more younger kid games
Would be a cool place if they kept games working and had more than 2 people working the bar. Waited 45 min or more for each drink. Also paid $40 for credits and atleast 7 of the games I played were broken and took my money. Has a lot of potential, deff needs a lot of work too. Won’t be coming back, feel like I wasted $60
No hand sanitizing stations, prices are very steep if you are on a budget, have to pay $2 for the card, so try not to throw it away. Most arcade games and ticket games are 6 to 8 credits, each credit is about 1 quarter. Very expensive even for the old-school kind of games, hardly any pinball games. $13 an hour for billiards rental after 12pm, but 10am -12pm is $10, which is still pretty expensive for the Eugene area. Only giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because of the immense selection of game types. Unfortunately, no Dance Dance Revolution games, though they have a couple dance alternatives, and also a few instruments games for guitar and drums. Karaoke rooms appear to be hosted in the private party rooms, so at least you dont have to sing to a bar audience. This review was on the first day of opening.
Seriously terrible place for kids unless you feel like spending a couple hundred dollars just to watch it all go down the tubes FAST! Prizes cost massive amounts of tickets and the claw machines are all rigged and they pin most of the stuffed animals down between holders that grip the animal. Your best bet is to see if you can hit the thing and knock it loose. Even if you got lucky enough to grab something the claw is so weak the minute it brings it up the claw shakes and drops the prize! Don’t waste your hard earned money unless you can afford to waste 200.00 just for a chance to possibly get something that cost maybe 40.00.
A lot of fun, but the music they blast is overwhelming, terrible pop music! Way too overstimulating! It is easy to spend a lot of money really fast here also!
Was ok but they had a lot of games out of order. For a grand opening you would think they would make sure everything was working. Will be back to see if they can get things fixed.
Completely disappointed, WAY OVERPRICED and most of the place was filled with claw machines that cost $3 just to play. You will go broke really fast in this place and the games are not even that great. Also $6 just for one game of bowling not including shoes. Don’t even know how this place will stay open with these prices
Its expensive, If you plan on playing some games for an hour id say you better bring $50 bucks. Its definitely fun and the kids had a blast, however i dont think its a place we would visit regularly.
Food was horrible they ran out of onion and put a small piece of lettuce on my burger. My girlfriend’s chicken strips were under cooked and the cheese on the nachos wasn’t even warm. To top it all off more then half the games you play for tokens are out of service. Definitely never going back
Maybe youre like me and the ONSLAUGHT of targeted advertising around Round One has you pulling out hair (ROUND ONE IN EUGENE OREGON, VALLEY RIVER CENTER...).I understand the move into Eugene; there are several barcades in town, so theres certainly a market. Normally Id worry about a big chain coming through town and crowding out local competitors. Fortunately for them, Round One is much, much, much more expensive than any arcade in town. Even if it blows them away in terms of selection/variety.
Great place to hang out. Lots of fun games and prizes. Nothing like this place in Eugene.
Great place
Great place if youre prepared for the cost. Pretty expensive, ok movie theater quality food but GREAT service from the employees and lots of fun had by all.
Food desperately breaks health and safety codes. Was served a severely underdone burger after an hour of waiting and paying $20 when brining this up was the escorted out by security which was a sever over reaction. I work in food and understand protocols but this burger made me scared to eat.
Amazing place. Go get the annual membership for sure! Super cheap
My friend and I greatly enjoyed this establishment. We shall return. #highlyrecommend
Spent over 150.00 here. When it came time to get food for my son and I...a 40 min wait later...it was still frozen. The employee said hed put it back in the oven. 30 mins later I just asked for a refund because I was tired of waiting at this point. A manager came up and seemed sincerely sorry for the wait and frozen food. He said hed refund my whole day back to my debit card. This was over a week ago and I still havent gotten my money back. They dont answer when I try to call.
Cool place but they had several games out of order already which is kind of sad to see so soon after a grand opening.
Lots of fun games no long waits. A little spendy but its been a while since I did arcade games
It was lovely experience super cool lots of different machines and things to do had a great time
Games are fun, but the food we ordered took two hours before we finally got it.
I think it is a fun place / there is plenty to do, but it takes WAY TOO LONG to grab a drink. It’s a bit of a buzz kill to wait in a single file line for 30 minutes.
Ignore all of the negative reviews. The place JUST opened. They’re silly and over expectant. A nice place to have fun, socialize and get the serotonin pumping. A little spendy though.
Pretty cool. Surprising games.Weird prices thoHope yall get to stick arou d
Finally, Eugene has a modern arcade center! Lots of fun stuff for all ages. *Arcade Tip* do not buy a 60min play card as its only valid for green games which make up only 25% of games. Better to just buy a credits card. Most of the arcade games are native Japanese untranslated, but arent too hard to figure out. The prize machines have GREAT figure/plush prizes! But cost about $2.25 per try. True, a tad on the spendy side, so choose you battles wisely.
Imma give them 4 stars great place but slow service take way too long for food and icecream
The place is way too overrated for what it is and everything is so expensive. U have to buy a game card just so u can put money on it. Plus the games are soo overly priced.
Expensive to play games $20.00 on my card is about 30 mins to 45 mins of play Uncrowded every time i went Has a wonderful prize redemption store and is easy to hand in your points Better prizes then any other arcade i have been too Just hope they keep changing them out so we dont have to get the same toys ever time
