Who on earth designed this IMAX theater? Was the city involved? The railing and even the seats cover the screen. Horrible horrible. It isnt that hard to design a theater. Not worth going to this theater. Save your money.

Regal theatres show great movies and have online ticket purchases. Would like their video arcade games better maintained. All round great place to catch a new movie.

Great place to see a movie, but knocking off a star for 2 reasons:1) Went to see a 10pm show of The New Mutants on 9/5/20 and the theater had obviously not been cleaned and dont know if it had been sanitized as promised.2) The theater should at least take a temporal thermometer check for guests.

Heres what spending $22 at the movies in 2020 gets you:Picture - Dead pixels on an IMAX screen.Sound - With headphones in, I still reached the pain threshold halfway through the movie and had to talk to the staff to turn it down.Concessions - Theyve shut down all of the fountains but still wanted to charge me for tap water.Reaching customer service wasnt possible.

Fun theater with lots of food choices. Wish they would adopt the luxury recliner seats though! Also, they now have a subscription for tickets and you can go to see any movie at any time. Pretty cool option!

This is the closest theater to my residence and I’m happy about that. The theater has considerably comfy seats, decent pricing, and nice workers. Love going here for pretty much any new releases I’m interested in considering they usually have everything I want to watch.

The movie was great but there was a long line if you were purchasing outside and only one person helping so I thought that was really very poorly managed Also they dont tell you much about the kiosk inside that you can go and purchase your tickets from that kiosk so for those that do not have that knowledge they are still waiting in line I understand Tuesday they have a special maybe thats why theyre not too concerned about their customers on Tuesday Or maybe theyre not making enough money Who knows But I know next time if I see a long line like that Im going the other direction somewhere else I was going to buy that monthly deal that they have and it sounds like a good deal but if this is the way its going to be the long lines always I think Id rather not purchase ... Couple of words for those are in charge . . . we go to the movies so we can have a good time and enjoy each other and enjoy your movie not to stand in lines and get frustrated and and finally leave and never come back again so please if you can do something about it it would be much appreciated

We went here to see the new Terminator movie before it finally left theaters. This theater really needs an overhaul with upgrades to be competitive with new theaters. This place is only good for the last chance to see movies that arent in other theaters anymore.

Watched Jumanji with the family. The theatre restrooms were clean even though it was busy. I have been told that its normally cold, but it was surprisingly perfectly warm temperature in the actual theatre. The floor was clean and well kept. It was a wonderful Christmas Day movie experience. Thank you!

This place is kind of run down. It was just built a couple years ago. I can understand you don’t go to the movies for the cleanliness of the carpet but there was intermittent hot pixel marring the 20 dollar movie I saw. There used to be three places to see a movie in this town and for some time there were no theaters so I’m going to keep coming here for fear of it closing but I’m going to lower my expectations stick to a standard showing.

Great local theater, hopefully get reclined seating soon, best of latest shows, cool staff, huge popcorn lots of butter, sizable tray popcorn bucket and free refill at purchase. Not eat it and come back, thats unique of them and cool

We enjoy having a local theater to go to the movies. The bathrooms can be cleaner. The concessions is always dirty, sticky unless you go right when they open.

This movie theater is clean, a lot of space, staff is friendly. There is a gaming section as well and a large concession stand. There are booster seats availible for your littles. Its has a steady flow of customers but never over crowded.

Popcorn area was disgustingThe service was slow the bathroom dirty no hand soap the popcorn condiments stand had no napkins or containers lids the ketchup package where slime up from package blown. A horrible night

I dont like that they change the seating arrangement. You have to tell them exactly where you want to sit. It was explained to me that the theater was taken over by new owners and that the seating arrangement is how they do it in Europe. So I told her but we dont live in Europe

They need better observation of theater patrons. Too much talking and disturbance during movies and better cleaning between shows. The floors are filthy when you walk in.

The concession stand was great, the workers very helpful! I ordered a glass of chardonnay and it was room temperature. Very disappointed!

Ive been going to this movie theater for a long time. They do a great job with the upkeep of this theater and everything is well organized. Customer service is great too!

We are new to the area and looked forward to seeing a movie in our home. The movie was great, however the theater staff seemed to have check out for the night. The theater and bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned in hours. if at all that day. We watched a movie surrounded by garbage and filth. The bathrooms were overflowing, as were the waste baskets throughout. We walked by a giant popcorn spill on the way into our show and it was still there on the way out. I hope the manager of this theater can get their act together to improve the experience. We will be going elsewhere in the future.

Huge! Cool! Magical! Great place to feel like your going to the movies while going to the movies. Cool decorations and nice service.

We love going to the movies. Usually once a week every since we retired. Within the last few months the company made a policy which takes the pictured line separators away. This causes so much angst among people waiting in line that it takes the pleasure of a movie out of the experience because inevitably someone says something to another person in line about their cutting in line or they were there first. So what you think about during the movie is how that could have been handled better or about how you hope you never have to deal with that again. When it happens more then once it’s time to make decisions about weather you want to go there anymore. Because going to the movies is supposed to be an escape NOT yet another way to see people miss behave. The solution is simple for the company to fix. PUT LANE DIVIDERS UP!

Attended Early Fri @11:30am. Box office outside was closed & super long line @ refresment counter to buy tickets /food. But thank goodness self serve ticket kiosk was working & this line went rather quickly!! When we left @2:30 the outside box office finally was open w/ no line inside!!

The place was extremely dirty. They didn’t even take the initiative to clean up for next movie. So disappointed to pay $14 to be in such a dirty place

Pretty good spot. Like that the armrest on the chairs come up so you can snuggle with your significant other more easily while watching a flick. Chairs are comfy. Staff is manageable, or at least on par with other theaters. Like this one for the armrest reason tho. Recommend if youre a couple to check it out.

Movies are definitely amazing especially when you are just there to enjoy majic to all have a wonderful day

I enjoy this theater. It has a lot of rooms with stadium seating & good ac. . Bathrooms are clean, W/many stalls.If you buy a large popcorn or drink you can get a free refill, which is nice for larger families, or a hungry person. You can also ask for your second free large popcorn at the same time as you buy the first one. We do it this way as my son is repulsed by butter, so he gets his own unbuttoned box and mine is super buttery! : ))This theater just went to assigned seating, which is a pain cause you chose what seats you want at the same time as you buy your tickets & it stalls the lines. Seats are blocked off when no one sits there. When I chose our seats, the ticket man showed me the diagram and he had the diagram wrong, so I ended up at the very bottom row staring straight up at the screen, my kids and I werent happy at all.The theatres that use the assigned seating generally also have lazy boys. If this theater had lazy boys, then Id understand,. But they dont. So I take 1 star off for the assigned seating..☆ Thank you for reading!

The only theater in Escondido. Convenient to us. Nice and clean for the most part.

I live a decent ways away but every time I visit its 100% worth it. The staff is always polite but sometimes understandably tired. Coming back soon!

My 13 year old brother and I skateboarded almost two miles to this theater. The door attendant rudely informed us we can’t take our skateboards in the theatre. (Understandable) I then spoke to the woman who was working customer service to see if there was anything they could do, and she was even more rude and short with me! Will never be returning here and will be informing my my friends to stay clear. Extremely rude staff..

The IMAX was nice, but the seating compared to newer theatres need updated. The theater as a whole needs modernized.

I have been going to this theater a long time now. I love the stadium seating and the the chairs are so comfortable. The screen is great to watch a movie on and the sound quality is amazing. The staff is polite and professional, and helpful

Line was kinda slow but theatre and movie was good.

They need to have posters showing what is currently playing on the outside of the theater. Instead of having to go up and try to read the board behind the tillers.

The cinema was nice, a lil pricey and the Imax seating was uncomfortable. For 22$ a ticket i expected it to be ALOT nicer. Otherwise great customer service, friendly staff and a hilarious movie!! I LOVE Deadpool!!

Dirty theater! There was popcorn all over the place near the concession stand, and not one person thought it might be a good idea to sweep it up so customers dont have to step all over it. Took about 15 minutes to get an overpriced small popcorn and coke even though there werent that many people in line. Chatty Cathys in the movie theater with no respect for anyone around them. Only came here because we had gift cards but thatll be the last time.

Allowing the selection of your seats is great. More comfortable reclining seats and thos would be top notch

(Could use updating)Whos betting on what happened that was so severe, the theater now makes you pick your seats at POS (point of sale) NOT The Other POS.My money is on damage control. With young frustrated punk/everyday kids defacing & destroying property. Its easy to conclude, they want someone to hold accountable. Thats my bet whats yours.

Love coming here w/MY kids for a Family Movie Night! But so expensive Now a days to Do SO!! Almost 50$ just 3 people & then popcorn & drinks & maybe a Nachos another 30$ - 40$!! But at least I can make a few memories with these two crazy Nuggets that can last a lifetime..

Good seating and food and good spot to come for Tuesday date night. The cheesesticks are so good. I always get a slushy. I applied her many times for a job since October 2018. Been coming here for over 5 years. I think I am a regular. Everything good.

I went and saw the new Spiderman movie on a whim because it was too hot to be at home or outside. What better way than to spend a few hours in a dark, cool heavily air conditioned environment surrounded by sound. Anyway, the ticket center line was a bit long, but soon after, another employee came and it went by quickly. I went in and snagged an empty L-size popcorn from the dustbin to use as my own for a refill. Those normally cost almost $10 which is more than the ticket - hard pass. So the concession girl kindly refilled it and I was on my way in. The previews took almost 30 min, but I had killed time beforehand so the wait wasnt bad. Overall, solid experience despite movie ticket prices rising and rising.

The seats were very comfortable and it was easy to get in and out. Parking was easy too. The movie was ridiculously loud though. I covered my ears through a good portion of it.

Nice theater very central to Escondido. Lots of food and snack choices. Multiple types of popcorn. Nachos, burgers, hot dogs. Tons of candy, both traditional candy offerings and big dispenser machines. Nice theaters with good standard stadium seating. I think this theater is 98% as good as the Mira Mesa theater, but way way less crowded.

Recently purchased by a new company, the insides are being revamped and made beautiful. Lines for the snack bar are unmarked, so just stand behind people ordering. Keeps it simple. Chairs do recline, but are not sofa recliners like Regal 12 in Carlsbad. The most greeting/interaction youll have is with the ticket taker. Theatre has IMAX, IMAX 3D, Real 3D, and standard.

Great location! MY husband is so excited to have a place less than a mile away from home and we can easily grab a film here any day. It is great that it is surrounded by so many eateries and it is a great place to go for a date. Thanks for bringing the movies so close by!

Took my kids to watch the $1 movie over summer, during this time frame there was a lot of talk about people getting bit either by fleas or bed bugs so I was a bit hesitant about going. I wore pants and long sleeves and so did my children. We didnt have an issue about getting bit, thankfully.Popcorn was great as usual!

Always amazing customer service. Love their loyalty program and only wish moviepass had kept going or I would be here more often. Went from 3 times a week to maybe once a month because of movie pass. Movie theaters are just to expensive now a days. They offer military discount on tickets which is always a plus.

Great experience. Went on a Tuesday night. Used the website to buy my ticket ahead of time so I walked right in. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Everything was clean. It was nice that they had inexpensive candy vending machines on the way in to the theater.

On June 20th 2019 my family and I came here to see Toy Story 4. I found it a little odd they only had 2 employees on the snack counter and semi long lines. Later finding out 2 people quit/walked out the same day. Once I got to the counter, the employee named Justice helped me out. Justice was very very polite, very professional, and extremely helpful. He helped me save a grip of money by recommending other options that I wasnt aware of. He definitely deserves an award for his customer service, and how he was handling being understaff that evening. When leaving, I stopped and talked to Mike I believe he was the supervisor on duty that night, Mike with the big beard... Mike was very very helpful and very professional as well. I also asked him about how to fill out a survey on my experience I had, and he directed me to the website where I can submit there. But these two were handling the situation of being short staffed very very well, and should be All-stars there at Regal. Keep up the great customer service, and the great leadership!

This is a very homey theatre, service is so great. Ive been going here for so long and it never gets old. One of the best theatres in San Diego in my opinion.

Nice restrooms, service desk is very helpful, theater is comfortable! The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is because they dont have blue powerade. Every Regal theater Ive been too, which is a TONN, has had blue powerade.

Unfortunately I went to see Avengers in IMAX on opening weekend and was shocked to find an overly packed theater. I understand that movies are packed on opening weekend but unfortunately this was much more than that. To my understanding sites sold more seats than were available and had seats double booked and possible more meaning this theater was not only over capacity but many would not be seeing the movie they had paid for. This was unknown to many customers as no one was told at the entrance or ever, you found out by noticing your seat was taken by someone else who had the same ticket. Not only was this a major issue but many people waited 30-40 minutes and paid for food that was price hiked for a film they thought they would see. I was one of the more unfortunate and waited in line for 40 minutes before I had to walk to the front and ask the lady that was clearly as irritated as me if she had been helped and she replied with a clear no. Thats when I went to notify the customer service of this issue and found out all of the other unfortunate events happening. I wasted 2 1/3 hours to not see a movie and was more than upset for most of that time.

1st time at this theatre. Big screen is really nice. Comfortable seats. Great movie experience. Only downside is I have been spoiled on the other regal theatres kick-back and put-your-feet-up recliner seats. Have to decide recliner seats or bigger screen for other movies i will go to.

Why are we picking seats!!! Takes the fun out of the movies. Whos great idea was this, so disappointed to come with our family and have to waste time picking seat and miss the beginning of a movie. We come to the movie to have a good time not be told where we can or cant sit. Ive came here for the past 10 years, such a fun stopper, sorry it was great but be aware theres a wait to have people and you to find a seat. Such a bummer

I come here at least once a month, sometimes more frequently depending how many must see movies are out at the moment. Its located in a shopping center and is surrounded by smaller restaurants within walking distance. You get your choice of burgers, Mexican, Mediterranean, sushi, sandwiches, and ice cream.

At night this place is a zoo. Box office was closed. Lines for tickets and food were ridiculous with 5 films starting at 10pm. I have Unlimited so the ticket was included, but would have missed some of the film if I were to get popcorn, so they lost a sale.

I prefer this theater to others in my area. Large parking lot. Its usually less crowded. Ive never seen a movie sell out there. They have nice seats and large auditoriums. The concessions are good like anywhere else. You pay through the nose for snacks. You have to buy your ticket outside. It has no shade while you wait to buy a ticket. So if its hot you are waiting in the hot sun. But usually not long.

You shouldnt have to wait in line for refill on popcorn that you have already paid forEspecially while the movie is going .Dont know what I missed .Sucks !I guess Ill just have to wait till it comes out .

Its a good theater, the IMAX seating can be chosen. I recommend using fandango to get tickets, it makes your experience much better. Typical food prices at movie theaters and they are expanding their food choices like many theaters. Usually the amount of people coming here is less than other theaters so it is not as crowded if you go during the week or wait a week or two for a popular movie.

I really dislike that theyve started forcing you to choose your seats when you pay for your tickets. I dont go as much as before because of this. The theaters are so large and theres nothing special about the seats. It takes more time now because people have to choose a seat so wait time is longer in line. If youre meeting up with someone you can hardly go in ahead of time because they dont know where you sitting. If you dont like where youve picked you cant move because someone could have chosen those seats. If youre seating by talkers, rowdy kids, etc, you cant move. Please go back to the old way and let us go in and choose our seat. PLEASE!!

I place 2 stars because I have been only in this cinema 1 or 2 times . I dont remember exactly about my last visit there so . Staff members was good and friendly in my last visit . I did not order any food or snack so I cant describe nothing about it. Next time I got a chance I will pay more attention to details of course. This rating is not reflects completed my decisions about going there . Next time I will try to enjoy a bit more.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!so I guess now they do the assigned seating so my boyfriend and I chose our seats and when we went into the movie theatre ( theatre room 15 to be exact )We opened the door and a HUGE smell of weed hit my face! The theatre smelled horrible! I let that go and went to our seats only to find TRASH ALL OVER!!Popcorn all over the bottom of our seats, nasty used tissue paper on our cup holders, used soda on the other cup holder and pop corn bucket on the seat next to us!! It was so gross ! The whole theatre was not cleaned and we were like 10 mins early to our movie (before commercials went on). The theatre SHOULD be cleaned out as soon as the previous movie is over!! It was so gross! I wish I could’ve taken photos because that was not alight! My boyfriend and I left because we legit couldn’t sit there and smelled disgusting &&&& we couldn’t switch seats because assigned seats!So we left to get a refund and it’s been more than 3 days and we still haven’t gotten our refund! They keep hanging up on us which is so unprofessional!!The guy who helped us was very nice which is why I didn’t go back to take a picture because I wanted to so badly just in case. But I thought no we’re fine. HORRIBLE MAKES ME NOT WANNA GO BACK!

Enjoyed the IMAX except for needing earplugs. Its pretty bad when a rock concert is quieter. Even during the credits I had to yell at my wife for her to hear me!!!!
