Great place to kick around or get a tour and history on the Sikes farm and home. Just behind the farm is mule hill where the battle of San Pasquale took place lots of history surrounding these places. The hosts and or staff are very friendly and knowledgeable if your in the area you should stop and pay a visit. Theres also a farmers market there as well local goodies!
What a beautiful, quaint historic restoration! If you like that sort of thing, this is just the place for it. So cute!
Great tour. Steve was great in showing us the house and talking about its history.
Its a historic house, nicely kept, thats cool. We use it as a meeting point for mountain bike riding.
The history of this place is more complete than ever physically, worth a drive to see....
A must see! Hidden in the trees. Outstanding local history!
Wonderful, working snapshot of the old west. The adobe was built in the late 1800s and has been restored to reflect that time period. There are great gardens, orchards and even chickens and a working windmill to reflect life on the original ranch. A great place to visit, and bring your kids or grandkids.
Fresh fruits and vegetables at unbelievable low price
Really nice piece of Escondido history. If you enjoy local history, this place is worth a visit.
Fun to see how they lived in houses like this. Ranger David was very informative.
Neat historical area, with interesting exhibits and native plants. Plenty of parking and portable restrooms on site.
Neat little historic house from the 1800s . It takes about 15 minutes to go through the whole thing. If you go to the farmers market on a Sunday you should stop by.
