I love how they make their pizza and all the different combo options. The dough is not frozen like basic pizza chains. It’s a great place to hang out. The people are very friendly. If you go in a lot you will soon feel like family.

Nice thin crust pizza with lots of topping options! Giant slices available at lunch. We love the soda fountain, too. The interior is cozy and clean. Glad to have pizza in Erie!

I’ll start off by saying if there was a 6th star, I’d click it. The service is great and the pizza is even greater. It nearly brought a tear to my eye when I took that first bite of pizza. I definitely recommend this place for you will not be disappointed.

We just moved to Erie and were excited to try Abos Pizza. I ordered 2 medium sized pies and 2 Cokes at 4 in the afternoon. It took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to deliver, and I am literally less than a mile from their store. The pizzas were pretty tasteless, were only warm, not hot, and the Chicken Parm specialty pizza had almost nothing on it. This cost me $50. FIFTY DOLLARS! I will probably never order from them again. Lesson learned.

I take two things in life very seriously... pizza and soft serve. This spot does both incredibly well. If you’re thinking about going with your corporate BS pizza or even the “over the top” artisan (and bougie) pizza then stop right now and do yourself a favor... go to Abo’s Erie! Its better than any of the other locations I’ve tried for some reason. I got a good laugh, a delicious pie and even treated myself to their gourmet soft serve. Bravo!

Good pizza. If you want a NY pizza experience, its a good option. I usually frequent another local chain pizza place in Erie, but decided to go for abos this time. I remember why I dont go there often. While the pizza is good, the service is slow. I dont know why this is so difficult for abos, but maybe hire more drivers, or something? If you look at the reviews most bad reviews are due to slow service/delivery. Take a hint and rectify that. It cant be that hard when the other Erie pizza joint can get me a hot pizza in 30 mins. Management needs to improve on delivery times big time.So if you want the pizza fast, probably best to just pick it up at the store, or you risk waiting an hour and a half for your pie.

First visit went smoothly and turned out to be great pizza. Second visit had several people waiting, unserved for many minutes. They also lost my order and had to remake an hour later, which led to rushed and overall nasty pizza. They apologized profusely, but ultimately failed at their central offering

Loved the idea of soft serve and pizza. The dough was perfect.Everyone was accommodating and attentive. We will be back.Lot’s of fun on a hot summer day.

Had the calzones. They were delicious. I was leary about the gyro calzone but since I love gyros I tried it. Yum, the crust was not like a traditional gyro but it was tasty. We picked up the order using their app. Everything went well but you always have to wait longer than their estimation.

Great people here. Service is always friendly even when they are super busy.

Expensive but good and quick service

Was ready when i was, pie was done correctly ( we are from boston and it was just like home). Staff was very friendly, and special instructions ( a fathers day message on the inside of one of the boxes) were followed to the letter. Negative reviews are from my POV unfounded. Our experience was top notch.

Great local pizza! Buy by the slice too

I love Abos pizza but this location is the worst. I usually just drive over to Niwot when I want Abos. I dont know why this location has a different menu from every other Abos location. The crust is always super crunchy and over cooked at this location and, as others have said, its almost always cold. Even when I come in for carry out its always cold and the staff doesnt really seem like they even want to be there.

Done, just done with this place. Just got two large pizza’s, a small salad and garlic knots for the low low price of $80. Food came cold, an hour later than they told us it would and they haphazardly threw everything together. I never do negative reviews and I love to promote local Erie businesses, but I guess strike 5 is finally enough for me with this location. It’s Russian roulette if you’re gonna get a good and or warm pizza from these guys to begin with. When it’s good, it’s REALLY good. Those events are just coming less and less common. Support Echo instead.

The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Wonderful place to take my family out for lunch.

Great pizza! I absolutely love Abos pizza--the taste, the dough, the quality of ingredients--all make for an awesome pizza shop and great tasting pizza.The prices are a little more than those fast-food-type pizza places, but the extra money is definitely well spent.Everybody loves pizza and each person has their own valued opinion of where to get the best pizza. In the Front Range of Colorado, my opinion for best pizza is Abos. And the Erie location is a wonderful place to enjoy my favorite pizza.

Never gotten a pizza in less than 90 minutes. Tonight. 90 minutes and they forgot half the order. The place is 4 min. away. 30 minutes later the rest of our order shows up. Thats right... 120 minute delivery. The only place that delivers to the area so kind of stuck if we are sick and dont want to leave the house. The stars are simply for the pizza and delivering to our house... But barely.Just order the Blackjacks pizza delivery... Its more likely to make it. Also, the Burger King in Erie is also one of the worst...

Ive ordered here a few times and each time has been rather disappointing. I work not even 5 minutes away from Abos and am alone all day, so I rely on delivery for lunch if Ive forgotten my lunch. However, it has taken over an hour, sometimes almost two hours, for my food to get here. Every order I have made has been wrong. I order the calzone since theyre actually pretty good (when theyre warm still) and the toppings are always wrong.One day we were told that all the ingredients were mixed together for the two calzones we ordered. So, both of our calzones were incorrect. When we called about it, since it took almost two hours to get, the woman on the phone was super rude. She finally agreed to make a new calzone for me since I have an allergy to the mixed ingredients and she delivered it herself so she could prove to us that we ordered it wrong. Luckily we had saved the order confirmation to show that we hadnt actually messed up our order.

Want a pizza delivered? Seek it elsewhere. You will order and then wait... and wait... and wait... Then you will call and be told, we are busy... You will wait some more... Then, when your kids are super hungry, you will call again and be told it is now in the oven...Told the delivery time was 35-35 minutes.Actual time: Never arrived because I canceled at 1 hour and 40 minutes.Epic FAIL.

Second time trying this place. First time we attempted online and it didn’t work. Called and asked to do a order for delivery. Made the order and the girl asked when I’d be there I reminded her it was delivery. She snapped back with “well you should have told me that in the beginning.” 70 min later the pizza arrived. Pizza was cold, wings were cold. Second time the online order failed. Called it in and was told 45-60 min. Again, 70 min later the food arrived. Pizza cold, ice cold almost. Wings, the skin was burnt and over cooked and the meat was dry. Living 5 minutes away we questioned how the food could be so cold. Poor experiences and customer service so we won’t be going back.

It was pretty busy when I got and there was only two people working, they did I pretty great job in a timely fashion given the circumstances. The pizza was great and the woman behind the counter was very nice. Cool atmosphere too, would definitely frequent if I lived around here.

Went in to order a couple of slices of pizza, and they told me they only had one slice. So I figured well maybe they are about to close so thats why at a Pizza Establishment, they no longer had any pizza, but nope... Employee told me that they didnt close for another 2 hours. Cool. And then the register wouldnt work so instead of just giving me the slice for free bc they only HAD ONE SLICE OF PIZZA! AT AN ABOS PIZZA! BUT NO,. SMH terrible.

Great tasting pizza and ambiance.

I want to like this place, but it can be hit or miss. The biggest issue I have is their crust. Its really bland and lacks any flavor. If they really want to be considered authentic NY style pizza they need to pay more attention to their dough. It needs more salt or to be fermented longer.

I love Abo’s... but not this Abo’s. They could really use some consistency in all that they do.

I thought the pizza was fantastic. The owners clearly care about their product and employees. Let’s support eachother instead of tearing others down. If the pizza does take a long time, we can use it as an exercise to build patience.

Ordered delivery on their phone system that does not work. $28 medium pizza was 55 minutes later than told during off peak hours. No explanation or apology.

Pizza is delicious without being heavy

Terrible. The last three times Ive ordered pizza it has taken 90 minutes to be delivered; I live 5 minutes away! They have never once offered me a refund. The pizza is so overpriced and poorly made. Go down the street to Black-Jack. They are much friendlier and will get your pizza to you quickly.

This is good pizza. Its not my absolute favorite pizza ever - but it is good if you want to grab something quickly and run home or to see a friend. They have a great pizza joint atmosphere and friendly service. I think I would like the pizza more if the crust was more crispy and New York Style, but overall Im satisfied.

Such good pizza! Came here after a softball game on a Friday evening. Not very crowded and the wait for the pizza wasnt too bad. A little more expensive than big chain pizza place, but so worth it!

Our pizza was made incorrectly, and they refused to fix it.

What a ripoff. Ordered a 3 topping pizza for delivery. Cost over $26 and with a tip came to $30. Pizza was not what was ordered - was thin crust, no extra sauce and few ingredients were on pizza. There has to be better pizza places than this

Damn good pizza, but call well before closing--sometimes they like to go home a little early.

Pizza is alright, salad was wilted, warm and disgusting. Took them over an hour to deliver my pizza on a Monday night and I live right up the street. Then hit you with undisclosed delivery and credit card fees when they finally get around to knocking on your door. Definitely wont be wasting my another $23 on a med cheese pizza and small salad again.

Slow service, food fair at best

AWFUL, awful establishment. Ordered take out, picked up our food and started sorting through the salad. Found a LIVE spider in the salad. Called and spoke the manager who said she would issue a refund after going back and fourth in argument first. She was very unapologetic and didnt care to take responsibility for this mistake. She sent a driver to pick up the salad so she could show her staff the mistake. Next day, we called about the refund, she denied any of this happened and denied that she promised a refund. I would not recommend Abos in Erie.

Ive eaten pizza at a lot of places and this one was pretty darn disappointing. The flavors were muted, the dough was meh... There must be a different New York than the one Im thinking of, this didnt remind me of NY pizza at all.

On a Monday night it took over two hours for our pizza to arrive. About an hour and a half in, I called to inquire about the ETA on the delivery and was told the driver had not been back yet to pick up the pizza and was missing. There was no concern that something had happened to her which was my first thought. The person I spoke to said they didnt know what to tell me for an ETA and made no offer to refund me. About 25 minutes later the driver called to say she was lost in Erie. When she did show up, the pizza was cold and there were no apologies or explanation. Cold, overpriced pizza which took more than 2 hours to get delivered.

Great east coast style pizza. Foldable, a little oily, big slices, etc. I usually take it to go or get delivery so I havent eaten in the restaurant much.

Long wait, atmosphere was not inviting, and the pizza was sub par.

High prices for a mediocre pie. No one is ever in a hurry, so you shouldnt be either. Compared to other Abos, this one is quite lackluster. That said, I still found myself there a few times over a few years, perhaps with hopes it would improve as the neighborhood grew around it.

Horrible experience dont waste your time or money in hopes it may be good... Im from New York and its no where near a NY pizza and honestly I dont expect to get a NY pizza here in Colorado, understandable but Ive been scouting around for good pizza... My experience here was not a good one. The place is run down and dirty inside it needs an immediate makeover, garbage on the floor, table not wiped down the walls are gross it needs a new coat of paint. I agree, the bar may be the focal point but its a PIZZA place, not a bar, besides the bar was dirty as well! Anyway, talk about way overpriced.... yeah! It wasnt busy when we went, however it took forever for our food, I ordered 2-slices of pizza, meeeh it wasnt all that great, my husband ordered garlic knots (rolls) and a Gyro. We asked if everything could be brought out at the same time... NOPE first my pizza 8min later his Gyro which was dry, crusty, super thin pieces of (jerky looking meat) the Soda machine was not working.. however they continued to sell fountain drink cups (which were more money then the can of coke) yet would then turn around and give people a can of coke oh and of course no refills.... yet they continued charging fountain prices. Anyway we were getting ready to leave, my husband told them since they never brought out the garlic knots to just forget them, they said they were coming now.... yea they were raw dough inside and we couldnt eat them... so all in all $28 spent on horrible food and atmosphere, we could of ordered dominoes it would of been cheaper and more satisfying... but at least I can say we tried it.

This is the Worst Abos, super slow and the owner (older lady) is not very friendly. The abos in Broomfield is 10X better. Better quality food and worth the drive. Im sitting in the restaurant writhing this review. Many unhappy customers as its so slow. Its not even busy! Abos has great pizza, but not this location. Do yourself a favor and drive to anothe location.
