There is plenty of shade and places to sit or play in this park. Perfect amount of space for social distancing outdoors while wearing your mask. It is tucked away in a very nice neighborhood and is accessible to Glenwood Park Drive. Located next to the zoo, this place is very natural looking and serene.

Nice place to walk the dog, take a run, have a cookout, or take the kids to the playground. There are a ton of horseshoe courts as well in the back of the park.

Covid19 has shut this park down and its utterly devastating to visitorsand locals! Hopefully summer 2021 is better

Like taking the kids here cause it has a bathroom thats well maintained and you can enjoy the Erie Zoo right beside the park. Lots of picnic tables for any family get together/birthday party. !

This park has wonderful well maintained playground equipment. It features a paved walkway and pavilions. It also has nice facilities. A great place to play with your kids!

Great little park right next to the zoo! I like coming here for a bit and then walking around the zoo - it’s a double whammy and wears my kids out! The bathrooms are well taken care of (although I wish they were open year-round) and you can tell the maintenance workers really care about the park. There’s tons of picnic areas and lots of places to explore.

Its a very nice park with plenty of shade, grills, pavilions, restrooms and a big playground. Ample parking on both ends and along the street. Its unfortunate there isnt a better way of reserving pavilions as it leads to occasional fights.

Lots of pucnic tables, many are covered. No charge but first come first serve. Nice playground for kids. Flush toilets located centrally. Grills arent in the best shape.

This is my favorite park in Erie. Its close to the zoo, it has lots of shade, and it has play equipment for both younger and older kids. One warning though, the bathrooms are only open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. There are several picnic shelters and benches. It can be a bit crowded in the summer because the Y and the zoo take campers there during the day. I personally dont mind because it gives my kids lots of kids to play with.

No complaints about the park. The pavilion next to us was blasting music which could be heard throughout the entire park which made conversation difficult. We were having our annual family reunion. We wont be back next year. We will rent a pavilion at a smaller, quieter location. Coming at 3 am to reserve a pavillion is a pain in the butt too.

As things are opening up again, it seems silly that a wide open park would stay closed.

A nice park

Why would you only have 4 women stalls opened on a Sunday.I am quite upset. My mom is in a wheelchair and was going to attend her great grandsons 6th birthday party but shr cant cause the bigger stalls were not available.

The directions were absolutely horrible. I didnt need to go to Glenwood park up to get to my destination I dont understand why map uses inside roads its a longer and confusing route I do not like nor enjoy using Google map always waste my time and gas to get to my destination.

A nice, well shaded park, with plenty of picnic shelters and grills. Within walking distance of the Zoo. The park also has a childrens playground and a restroom.

Great park to take the grandkids. Very well kept up. Play area for the older kids and another play area for the little tiles. Bathrooms and picnic pavilions close by.

My kids love playgrounds and it helps that this one is next to the zoo! It has a section for littler kids and one for bigger kids. Just needs one for the grown-up kids!
