Johnny Henderson Family Park

This was a great park for an outing with the kids. It has lots of age appropriate playground sets and swings along with a small splash pad for those hot days. Definitely wish I had one of these close to my home town. There are also lots of grassy areas to play and trails to hike.

I love this park! You can do everything from walking/running the track which is more like a nature trail. My kids love playing on the playground which is a great size. We just had a birthday party there and rented a Pavillion right next to the playground for an awesome price! The pond and the ducks are mesmerizing. Pet friendly. A great addition to the community

Great place for kids and the adults. Nice 3 playgrounds with swings and a splash pad. Restrooms are right by the playground. They also have a nice walking/running trail for adults.

I love walking the path and seeing so many others enjoying it as well. I love how well kept the grounds are, and most of the staff are friendly enough to wave.

Thank yall for your service! Seems that there was a deployment party the day we went, but we still had a great time and we were able to pretty much stay to ourselves(w/out people getting too close) even though there were quite a few people there.

Pleasant family park. Has a nice approximate 1.5 mile track with beautiful wildlife, basketball court, and baseball fields

I get a real good work out when I go there, sure like the park.

Its got all your needs in one park trails for walking scooter skateboarding running ect...several play areas dog park ext...and dont forget there awsome pond full of beautifull geese and duck...this place is a family must

Great place to bring the family. Plenty of pokestops if youre into that. Loads of things to do for children and plenty of room to walk.

We go as a family at least 4 times a week ! Special place for my husband, me and our special needs cousin we are raising

The park is very well kept and there are plenty of things to do, regardless of age. Birthday parties, jogs, walks, several playground areas, etc. Easy to stay socially distant here and everyone to have a good time.

It is a lovely place to spend an afternoon with your family.

Nice park to take the little ones!! Its got 3 different size play area for different ages,and a splash pad area. Walking trails, nice size pond with bridge to walk across to the trails, and ducks you can feed so bring some bread. Ball fields too !! Picnic tables and a cover area for parties with electronic, and grill stand.

This is my favorite place to bring my dog Kita to. She absolutely loves the dog park, even more so since they added lights. Now its bright enough that i can take her in the evening when it gets cooler in the summertime.

The park is Gorgeous! The animals are so friendly and wonderful to watch! There are ducks, geese, cranes, squirrels, chipmunks, and all kinds of birds. Spectacular!!! The walking trail is just over a mile long and the views are amazing. They have kiddie playgrounds for the toddlers and then a bigger playground for older children. They even have handicapped swings! Musical instruments to peak everyones interest. The picnic pavilions all have charcoal grills so bring your family out and have a wonderful day!

Beautiful park! Very kid friendly and big. Multiple ponds with Geese and Ducks. Few playgrounds and baseball fields as well. Saw a lot of people running too but overall not very crowded.

Love this park. I was able to visit the park while the seasonal cleaning took place (February). The Park looked amazing. The children’s play area is where I take my kids during the summer and let them cool down at the splash pad and climb on the jungle gym way into the evening. If I could ask for anything more it would be for more water fountains throughout the park. The park closes at around 10pm but path is illuminated by lights going around the path, my only complaint would be there is no use of solar energy, the bathrooms are very small and can get easily out of control during festive months. But overall it’s a nice peaceful place to relax, have a romantic picnic and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s a lake with fish and seasonal birds. There’s also a dog park at the entrance.

This is a very calm park, its a good exercise for you if you really want to get out and walk

Very nice. Love the pond area with the covered deck, ducks and swans. Nice clean fun play ground area for the children and covered pavilions provide a really nice picnic setting.

Everything is great, except for the bathroom. It needs some help.

Some of the equipment is in need of repairs because rusty, broken metal and running kids shouldnt mix! But overall its a good playground that my kids enjoy.

Used to be a great park, however the playgrounds are falling into disrepair. In multiple locations, the rubber coating is peeling or dry rotted. The steel underneath is rusted and crumbling creating a safety hazard. Swings are falling apart.

Great place to take a walk, let your kids play, or to bring your animals. Theres a great playground for the kids and a dog park for the fur babies.

The most beautiful park! We love it!! Our Granddaughters love to play and feed the ducks. The splash pad is awesome too.

Big and very beautiful park. Theres a short hike with lots of trees and lakes on the way. All well taken care of. Lots of shade and banches to take a rest. There are picnic areas with barbeque, big nice playground, lakes with geese and ducks so bring some bread for them. Theres fishing allowed on certain days. Highly recommend!

Great place to walk, run, and read a book

Walking trails, a spray pad for kids, baseball fields, musical instruments, public restroom, lots of benches to sit on, swings, playground. Pond to walk around. Can bring your pets on a leash.

A nice place to have n outdoor party. The kids have a place to play and have fun. We had a baby shower there today and it was the perfect family atmosphere.

Kids always have a blast. They keep adding and improving. Make sure to stay up on repair and bathrooms and ill give it 100 all the time. From dry play to water splash fountains, of a work around the duck pond always fun for the family. Shaded tables and events years round.

The park is always well maintained. Clean facilities and well kept grounds. The playground is great and the splash pad is even better on hot summer days.

John Henderson Family Park has a lot of activities to offer. There are walking trails. There is a dog park and pet walking area. There is pond with ducks. There are several soft ball fields. There is a very nice playground area with numerous pieces of playground equipment. Adults as well as children will find plenty of things to do a this park.

A very scenic toand safe park for families or jogging trails. Very well maintained landscaping and clean restrooms. Three small ponds always have a variety of geese and ducks for kids to feed. The winding concrete path has several inclines and declines and makes for a scenic and relaxing jog. It has a large and well maintained playground area good for young children. Several drinking fountains were also a pleasant surprise. Great place to take the kids or go running or biking!

Thank you for such a wonderful place to bring ones Loved one. I enjoyed the park greatly and my wife as well. The only problem we had was a man with a number of Great Danes and they were peeing everywhere. Other than that we Love the park. Thanks again.

Terrific park! Great playgrounds and paved walking path. There are even some fantastic Geocaches hidden around the park.

We love this park, as does our puppy. They take excellent care of the grounds. Only complaint is the people who do not clean up after their dogs! I know there are bags, as I check them ( and provide them) all the time. I hate to see these thoughtless people ruin the experience for the families that use the park

This is a beautiful baseball park. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Consession stand is cash only though, so be prepared for that.

This is the only other park besides the ozark one that we come too often. This is by far my favorite. Way bigger play sets, still has a water pad, and there is a walking trail. My kids love the instruments and I love the swing seats and view.

This is a nice family park. Bring the whole family, and dog if you should have one.

It was nice when we first got there but Im a nervous person and seeing 2 gentlemen sitting on the benches on their cell phones looking at the kids but not interacting as if one was theirs made me leave fast.

Great park!

Great place for dogs to play, but needs a lot of maintenance. The field for the big dogs needs more dirt added along with grass. The exposed water pipes could become a potential hazard. But over all is nice place.

This is a great park for young and old. They have a one mile walking area. 2 playgrounds for kids. Coved area to get out of the sun. Area for get togethers to reserve. Musical instruments outdoors for kids, sand to dig in and lots to climb on and swings. Even a handicap swing that reclines!! Restrooms were clean, picnic tables, drinking fountains. Also had a couple lake areas with ducks to feed bring bread and swans.

What a gorgeous place to be. You could spend an entire day with your family here. Huge playground(s) for the kids... walking trails, fishing, concessions...ect. pack a picnic lunch or grill and eat under the shade of a pavilion with a serene view of trees or water. There is even a very nice dog park!

My 5 yo loves it here and he always seems to find a friend to play with. Well maintained and clean.
