Roundtop Picnic Area

Great park. Lots of parking and a great overlook.

Peaceful. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables spread out plus a couple pavilions too. Play area. Lovely view. Tall trees. Trails. Bathroom.

Youll reach the top of a small hill. Serene picnic area with a scenic view point of the Susquehanna river. Theres a small 15 mins walking trail on one side. Plenty of trees and greenery.

Perfect for a picnic on a Covid road trip. Bathrooms were Spartan but clean and stocked. View was pretty, and you catch a nice breeze in the covered picnic tables

My friend got married here yesterday. The land is beautiful, my kids loved the small playground. Lovely calm atmosphere amongst the trees, with bathrooms open and readily available. Would definitely visit again. Will consider planning future family events here.

Unique picnic spot overlooking the Susquehanna River, Vestal and Binghamton. The view is partially obstructed by woods, but still beautiful. Restrooms and garbage cans are available on site.

There was work being done by the town at the entrance to Roundtrip when my friend and I stopped by yesterday so we went to Grippen Park just down the way ... It will be a destination another day.

Love it up on the hill with a spectacular view looking down the valley.

Was able to get some beautiful pictures. As soon as the leaves start to turn Ill be back.

Its a nice area. Park for kids to play. Picnic area. Even a walking trail and bathtooms. I had to give it a 4 because I was told there was a riverview. June had no riverview everything was overgrown. And it was the reason I went... for photos of the view.

New senic veiw

Had my wedding at Roundtop in 2005. I have beautiful pictures of the river in the backdrop. But unfortunately those views are gone. As a lack of maintenance has made it so Shrubbery has grown up. What a shame.

Nice quiet place to go. Take the family and relax. Never really busy.

This place is so beautiful and amazing the park is a little tiny but the grass space to play sports and such makes up for the picnic tables are evenly spaced and there are grills all over. Definitely reccomend if your looking for a quiet less busy park for you and your family.

A great place for a family picnic and let the kids play on the playground. Theres several structures to get under in case it rains with picnic tables and BBQ Pits its a great place for wedding reception. One thing that would make it more appealing as if the Town of Union cut down some of the trees around the park so people can get a better view of the valley below

Is a nice sercuted area,clean quiet and beautiful scene nice place to just have a great relax gather with self or family and friends there is picnic casino with gables and barbycuew grill,restroom near by also

I try to visit Round Top whenever Im in town. My hometown always looks beautiful from up there. Its a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle

My parents got married here, my birthday has been here a few times, and my graduation party was here. Every time I go here I am delighted. Its relatively clean, not much debris laying around, plenty of places to park, as well as cook out. Working public bathrooms, and pavilions. Overall a nice place

Peaceful when theres not too many people there, great place for couples to go for a walk,hold hands on the little walking trail, walk talk an its a great place to enjoy each others company. The view is incredible! Felt like kids again on the playground area haha my boyfriend and I really enjoyed going there just about every day!

Nice little park. Youll pass it by if you dont know it exists. Two large pavilions for cookouts and gatherings.

Very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 shelters for parties and they have about 5 or 6 bbq areas for familes.
