The Room Upstairs Escape Room

I just went last night with my coworkers and we had so much fun!!! Very well organized and thought out. Jason the owner is a very nice man and very accommodating! We got to peek at each room and they are all intricate and interesting! We will be back again!

The Room Upstairs was awesome. Word Mania was incredible and the surprises along the way made the experience worthwhile. So many words to search and find. Would definitely recommend Word Mania for people that want a mix of elements in an escale room where you have to think on your feet.Jason, the staff member, was generous with explaining the rules. He helped make the experience something to come back too.Check it out and see if you escape!

Went back for another try at the Word Mania Extreme room and had a blast! You Jason and Brenda do a great job making everything work so smoothly and we cant wait to come back and do another room, nice to see you again!

These escape rooms are lots of fun, challenge and require teamwork!Outstanding Escape rooms!!!Stellar customer service! We will definitely be back!

My family did the Santa’s Naughty or Nice List and we had a great time. It’s an hour activity so it is not a huge investment in time. Jason was great and graciously allowed us some extra time to finish! My tip would be to ask for your first hint relatively quickly; we wasted too much time starting but once we were off and going it was a lot of fun. Recommend!

An excellent escape room experience. Puzzles were well crafted and clever. Staff was friendly and provided the right hands on/off touch.

Completed the Captain’s Quarters room today in a group of 3, and had a great time! The staff thankfully granted us extra time to finish and guided us along the way with hints instead of kicking us out at the hour mark. The room was extremely well decorated and immersive. The Room Upstairs always has creative gimmicks up their sleeves, as well as super nice employees and fun prizes. Excited to come back soon!

Excellent escape RoomS. Yes, they have 3! We enjoyed 2 of them. I wont say too much to give them away, but theres a word search one and a pirate one. The staff is really passionate about the escape rooms and gives thoughtful hints when needed. The entrance is just right (north) of the York theater.

Perfect for my 11 year olds birthday! Did the pirate treasure room. No stuff fun and puzzles and humor.

This place is so fun! We went for two birthdays now and both times we had an absolute blast. The pirate room is challenging, so many puzzles to solve. The word scramble room is a puzzle lovers dream! We will be going back again for the carnival and more word scrambles. Staff was awesome and so friendly. If you havent gone yet, go!

Great place! Did the Captain Quarters room and almost escaped with no time left. The leader gave us more time until we solved it. She also gave us a preview to the Word Mania escape room!

The pirates room was awesome. The people are so helpful and fun. We were close to the solution and were giving a few extra minutes so we could finish. Was perfect for a birthday party.

I went here with my wife and her family and it turned out to be a great time. It was very evident that the owner was passionate with his business and that made the experience that much more fun. I’d highly suggest going here for a great time.

We visited the escape room about a month ago and had a blast!! The pirate room was a true challenge, but with assistance from the voice behind the curtain...we were able to finish!I would highly recommend going for any occasion!!

What an absolutely amazing time! My family was in town (20+ people) and we decided to do a side adventure to the Room Upstairs. Not only were they totally accommodating, they made the experience a blast for every single member of our party. I cant recommend them highly enough. You can always tell a place that is run by an enthusiast and this was no exception. TRY THEM OUT!

Nice for a company outing. Would be better if they had more room options.

The word search escape was very entertaining. Its a clever twist on escape rooms unlike any others Ive been to. The staff was very friendly. It was a fun evening out for a large group.

Hosts were incredibly nice. Very fun puzzles. Would reccomend to anyone new to eacape rooms or experienced.

I love it

Excellent team building exercise! Super fun!
