M an active duty service member stationed in Sacramento and it appears the majority of gun shops do not know their own laws in California. At most gun stores since they are not used to dealing with active duty military members they will attempt to find clarification about the laws but this facility did not even try to attempt to do research on the laws they are supposed to know.If youre active duty military and you do not have a California state license and are stationed here either go get ANOTHER drivers license or just go to another business because it IS legal for you AS AN ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBER to purchase guns and ammo, rent, and shoot at ranges in California.

Best range Ive been to in this area. Special thanks to range master Nathan. He took the initiative to teach my son how to shoot and saved me a lot of time sighting my rifle. He is great at seeing a need and helping you before you need to ask. Definitely will be back and I definitely recommend this range.

The guy that was working the front desk judged me and my husband as soon as we walked in. My husband is African American and I am Filipino, he instantly assumed that he smoked marijuana before we came in! With all that is going on in the world right now - the discrimination was right in my face. I couldn’t believe what had just happened!!!! That man needs to be fired! No one should ever walk into a place of business and be judged off of how they look! I am coming to spend money with your business to keep your business going!With that being said, I will NEVER EVER come back. You should NEVER COME here!!!!

Decent place to practice. I generally keep to myself but found staff and others to be friendly. Safety officers are available and occasionally offer advice. I cant speak for all advice but did receive a good tip while working on my grip. They are occasionally too busy or have lane problems. Overall a positive experience.

The range staff were very pleasant to deal with and the range facility is decent given the newness and the space constraints. They allow ccw to work from the holster which is a plus. The range and range staff is the only redeeming feature of this business. Please pay the range a visit if you want to test fire a new firearm or expose first time shooters to the sport.

Totally rate this place. I am on vacation and wanted to shoot pistols which are not available in the UK so chose the Glock 17. From start to finish the whole experience was first class. Great advice, safety video and an introduction to the handgun. If you are looking for a great shooting experience, look no further than this place.

First time and last time. Probably busy waiting list. I check in 4pm. Wait for 2 hours outside chech again 3 person in front of me i still waitin is 8 p.m. so dont trust on them if they said we will call you.

Great spot to train test and tune.

I have been to this place 4 times and I wont be going back. The owner is rude and unfriendly and the staff dont know Jack about guns unless you want to buy a glock and even then the expertise is lacking. Today I called to come in and look for a new gun to purchase and maybe order some AR parts. The owner told me to check his online store for AR parts but I can come in and look around. When i got to the store he gave me an attitude and said he has no guns and that i wouldnt find any elsewhere despite comming from 2 other stores that had supply. The times I shot at this place the safety from the range masters I saw was horrible. Multiple times I had to ask a group to stop sweeping the firing line when they had a jam and pointed a rifle towards us down the firing line while the range master did nothing to correct people who where obviously novice level shooters. Utter garbage.

Place is a great range. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My experience was a good one, good facilities and air circulation. I was shooting my Magnums and 9mm Glocks.

I have used the shooting range here and asked a lot of gun permit/registration questions as I’m a new gun owner. They’ve always been polite and helpful. Sometimes they get busy and you need to wait a few minutes. Overall, I would highly recommend.

I read all the bad reviews about this place so I decided to go see for myself yesterday with my wife. I will tell you right off the bat, they have a lot of rules. But these rules are designed to keep everyone safe so I had absolutely no problems with that. I found as long as you follow these rules, and you shot safely and under control, you don’t even know the range officer is there. Great place, I plan to go back. Don’t trust bad reviews until you find out for yourself. Always two sides to every story

If youre a beginner dont go here. Extremely rude master that gave my girlfriend attitude, and then gave me even more. As if were supposed to be perfect and not make any mistakes. Take the time to actually teach in a nice manner and not be completely rude expecting people to know 100% what theyre doing. Waste of money go somewhere else if youre new.

Great place to bring your own gun or rent one. Also ammunition is cheap.

Sherry is the employee to go to if you want introduce a woman or a young lady to guns, she will make it an enjoyable experience.

First time here. Mark checked me in and we went through the rules. All I can say is great customer service, good price, good size range, and most importantly I felt safe with the RSO supervising the range. Definitely would come again! And definitely would recommend

Absolutely horrible service...if I can put -5 stars I would, we had a reservation and we made it on time but the guy had us wait outside in 100 degree heat for 15 min and he said we came in to late, he was very rude and I will never bring my family here again....its better to drive out of the way to some place else then to deal with that kind of unfair and very fusrting behavior.

This my new Range to go to. I live less than a mile from The Gun Range but I will now be driving the 20 miles of so to this to shoot. Great owners is are friendly and open. The staff is full of smiles and very helpful. The range is smaller than others but very clean and nice. The store is stocked well and prices that good. Who calls and asks if they need a background check at a range. Kind of weird. Sounds like a anti gunner set up to me. really lady you give them one star and you never even went there.I have been there about 5 times and seems to get better each time. Nice place easy parking. Great range and really clean. Range guys are very cool and helpful and even give a few pointers. Saw one range guy get a guys shotgun unjammed (is that a word). Guy was freaked out as it was and expensive Keltec bullpup gun and the guy seemed upset as I know they are about a grand. Range guy got it working and the guy was set. By the way the range guy was white and the guy with the jammed gun was black with his black wife. Really racist when a white guy fixes a black couples shotgun for free.Only bad thing is it is kind of hard to find around the back of another business.

Worse customer service I have ever experienced. I went to spend money. Planning on not only making a purchase but including instruction and accessories. Went in with over an hour till closing and was basically kicked out before I walked in. Not sure if it was because Im gay or Hispanic. Rude and cant believe a business would turn away a guaranteed purchase like they did.

So most ranges you have the guy in charge who thinks hes high & mighty knowing it all that doesnt let you have any fun with your guns but this place the owner & staff members are Amazing!! Fantastic customer service, friendly staff and fair rates. John, the range master, kept a tight ship but was also extremely helpful as he guided us through gun safety and shooting etiquette and technique. Even when we were done he made sure to let us know to pull him aside for some more tips. Highly recommend this place!!

Only been there once and it was good I like that they made me read rules for safety of their employees and customers. Read comments on racism I can say I didnt see it Im Hispanic and was treated great also I saw employees of different races so I dont get were thats coming from.

Wonderful shooting range. Great customer service very friendly and helpful. Great safety with a range safety officer always in the range shooting lanes. The gun store has a great selection very friendly and informative about the guns for sale the owner Andrew is always there ready to answer all your questions. They also offer instructional classes. Cant ask for more.

Staff is awesome. Customer service is second to none . Sergie taught me numerous things to help me with my accuracy and stance..I would recommend this range to all levels of shooters.

Great place to shoot

Yesterday, I brought 6 people to shoot at the range. Two had very little experience. The owner Andy was great and made us feel at home. Despite things being pretty busy when we arrived everything went smooth. The young lady at the desk had a big smile and was so organized. At no time did we ever feel that anyone there was looking down on us. It was quite the opposite. Jon and Andy asked us the purpose of our visit and helped us select several guns we could shoot. My ex wife, yes my ex wife was with us and she had a loaded gun!!!! She had recently been the victim of robbery and was looking for a personal defense hand gun. Jon was so calm with her and explained the kind of guns and calibers she should be looking at. At no time was he trying to push a gun on her or trying to make a sale.The range has 9 lanes and is very nice and well kept up. We rented two lanes and Jon joined us and showed us some great tips. He worked with our two novices to help them calm down and enjoy the experience. He worked with my ex and even went and got a couple more hand guns for her to try so she could find something that fit her well and she was comfortable with.Fantastic experience Laguna Shooting Center. We were all very happy and we will be back.Andy, hope your cold gets better soon.

Wow I have been to this range over 10 times and never had anything but the best service and great range masters. Very diverse group both staff and other shootings. One range master (older guy with a beard) was helping two black females who had rented a gun while the other range master (russian guy) was helping a asian couple at the same time. I was with my girl (we are both black) and we had rented a glock. The older range master with the beard brought the gun and ammo into us and the guy at the counter said to make sure we knew the gun etc. He took us out and showed us both the basics. I have shot a lot but do not own a glock and wanted to try one out but my girl has never shot. He was real cool and showed her the Glock and then I picked it up and shot well. He said he does not need any help and let me do my thing. She was not doing well and he just came over and told me what to tell her and I did and it helped. A Lot. Very cool place but only has like 10 lanes so it got busy fast. Like this place just wish it was closer to me. Will come back again and again. My lady felt cool here and now I am afraid to take her anywhere else and spoil it.Any one who says this place is racist has never been there.They need more lanes. The guy at the counter said to come back during the week and they are not that busy (I was there on a Friday night).

I shoot at the Laguna Shooting Range, the customer service is Great all the staff are knowledgeable group and friendly, my son and his friends enjoy shooting there.Andrew, who is at the gun counter is very knowledgeable with his guns and the law, Yes I bought a nice 9mm there. At the Laguna Shooting Range there. In Anvance Security Institute, where you can receive training in Security, learn to shoot, obtain a CCW certificate.I’m going to join one of there classes. I hear that the training there is great. This range is very nice located in Elk Grove Ca, right off I-5 Laguna exit, little hard to see the sign, it’s right begin the 76 gas station and Next to UHaul.

Simply called to ask do they do back ground checks and he was extremely rude and said “I gotta go lady, I got 9 ppl here right now” like other comments I suspect racism. I will never spend my money with them

I had a great time at the range. The friends I brought with me all did enjoy themselves very much too. We were there longer than the hour we rented the lanes for, but were Only charged for the one hour. The range is big on safety and security. I have been to other ranges here in town and have had rounds come back at the shooters, not here.Some other ranges in town feel like the ok chorale, with people waving fire arms all about.this is a great place to shoot for people who know what to do and the staff is awesome with giving advice to the rookies.If you need Targets, water, or amao they got ya coverage there too.

I liked this place. You check in, get your weapon ammo, ppe and go in. You pay your bill on the way out. The targets are motor operated; you dont need to walk into the danger zone to replace it, and also you can set the distance that you want. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Do, check it out.

Not only does this indoor range have working air conditioning, it allows double taps & even sustained rapid fire (once the Range Safety Officer has observed you firing 3 rapid shots without stringing your shots above the target). You can even draw from a holster (strong side Outside Waistband holster only).While these tactical? rules are considerably more lax than at most other indoor ranges, the RSOs here are especially vigilant for any actual unsafe behavior. For example: a shooter a few lanes over was not exhibiting great muzzle discipline. It wasnt terrible (he wasnt pointing it at anyone), but that sort of thing always makes me uncomfortable at public ranges. But a RSO had been monitoring the cameras and immediately came in - politely, but firmly, reminding that shooter to keep his muzzle pointed downrange at all times. And from then on he did...Pros:Friendly & helpful staff (if you are experienced it may feel like they are hovering at first, but theyre just doing a great job making sure everyone is being safe)Comfortable temperature, even when 105 outsideDouble-taps allowedRapid Fire allowed with RSO preapprovalDrawing from strong side OWB holster OKTarget runners are on tracks (you dont have to wait 5 minutes for targets to stop bouncing on a clothesline/cable)Aluminum-cased ammo OKCons: Range is small (15 yard max distance, narrow stalls)Other notes: $17/hr lane fee. If your 1911 blows up and you bleed everywhere, these guys have your back and take care of you! Seriously, the owners/operators here are polite, professional, and operate the range with meticulous safety. I will be coming back regularly...after I replace my 1911s barrel and link lol
