I love coming here because they always have good deals.Also, not to mention after a horrible visit to Joanns where they sold me a used machine I decided to come to Michaels to purchase the same exact machine at a higher price value since Michaels wasnt able to price match. TO MY SURPRISE, they had the machine I was intentionally vigorously looking for, the Silhouette Cameo 3. I got my machine at such a steal price. I know its not the exact cameo 4 but the cameo 3 has been to hard to find so I am glad Michaels had it in stock.

So many holiday decorations. Good supply of home goods too.

I like this store for all the things they have available, and their prices are better than Joanns.

This is one of my favorite places, especially for holiday decorating and framing art work and photos. I love to walk in the front door and see what they are featuring. The store is always hopping. I have had a lot of frames made for old art prints and new. They can take the work and upload it to software on a computer, so you can pick frame and complimentary colors. Framing here is not cheap, but if you want a treasure on your wall, they will help you do it very nicely.

The Female Employee helping us with pic frames was so helpful and polite. I wouldve gave them 5stars but the other Employees werent so friendly when I was looking for button pins and couldnt find it.

Nice store, went to get a custom frame but they didnt have the size I want to waiting for a call too see how much, very clean and have all the supplies you need.

Busy and horrible customer service. They were not helpful and didnt even acknowledge me as I waited by the counter to ask a question. At least acknowledge your customers and to let them know youll be right with them.

I always enjoy shopping at Michaels. Found some beautiful flowers that I needed for decorations at a very good price.

Michaels is a craft store on steroids. Anything you can imagine needing for crafting, creating, etc., is here, including a million things you could never foresee needing, ever. With so much stuff, its a good place to get inspiration on your projects. They have great sales and coupons as well. We went the day before Halloween and all Halloween stuff was 75% off.

This was my 3rd store I went tonight to find the color I wanted. I got one pound Caron yarn awhile back but no longer have a label or remember the color name. Thank goodness this store still carries this color! Yay and color I need is country rose! Making a long cardigan so in case I ran out of yarn. Working on the collar and Ill be done. Love this store!A suggestion is it will be nice this yarn comes in a smaller size too. Instead of only a full one pound, possibly 7 oz?

Jacqueline in the framing section was an outstanding help and great at her job. Great experience. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars and not 5 is they didnt have enough help for all of the customers in the store. It took quite a while to get someone to help me.

Store is overcrowded. Its hard to find what youre looking for. Employees werent very helpful. I ordered something online that had multiple in stock. I went in an hour and a half after I ordered it, because I hadnt gotten an email about it. The girl that does the online orders was rude. She told me that it could take 3 hours for them to pull my order and there were 33 people in front of me. I asked her if I could just get the items myself and still get them for the online price. She told me shed have to ask and left. She came back and told me no because the order wasnt in their system yet. She had literally just told me that I was in the queue. She said I would get an email when it was ready. I did not get an email saying it was ready until the following afternoon. More than 20 hours after I had placed my order. Because of the storm were having I couldnt go in until a day later. When I went to pick up my order, the same girl helped me. She rudely asked what my name was and then walked away. When she came back she was rude to another employee who had asked her a question. I will just drive to the Natomas location from now on. Its not worth the gas to go here. There needs to be one closer to Pocket/Greenhaven.

Fun to shop around/just browse but today my daughter just went in for just one item in particular (but had to look around for it for a bit). 1) They are REALLY on the prompt/friendly greeting every time, the second you set foot in the store. Probably to deter shoplifting LOL but maybe want to carry that enthusiasm/service over a bit into the while customers are IN the store and looking for something but cant locate an employee in the aisles... 2) In the bathroom... larger stall (the other was in use, before you get all judge-y). LOVE that they have a purse hanger at all - so many places dont. But can you PLEASE move the purse hanger to high enough up on the door that any regular purse doesnt hang down so low that anyone could literally walk in, boost it up an in or 2, grab it and run? 3) LOVE that you can (almost always) find and use the 40-50% off coupon from the website on any device and use it by scanning at the register. Yes, the list of excluded items is a bit long, but... still. GREAT value when you can use it, which is most of the time... and if you have an especially awesome cashier and theres not a long line behind you, they will let you ring items in multiple transactions and use the same scanned coupon (since its NOT single use but is one per transaction) more than once. Especially for projects, or school supplies, or GS troop supplies, was an ESPECIALLY awesome value.

Variety of great products. Just no assistance from employees when you lost and looking for something, all they do is either point or tell you an aisle you should go look from, even if youve already looked and found nothing. The employees dont accompany you to help look, they are more concerned with doing their assigned task

How was Michaels? Its hell on Earth. My wife drags me there. But this one was neat and pretty clean and the employees seemed cool.

Always lots of fun crafty items to keep the novice through experienced person busy making anything. Its a shoppers bonus when they sign up for one of the stores offers & they get to share the employees knowledge as you make new memories to share with family & friends.

The staff was so helpful even when she was pulled in many directions. She took her time to help me and I was very grateful. The store is well organized and clean.

There are really just two choices for larger craft supply stores in Elk Grove. Michaels is a better choice if you need assistance ( and dont want to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up), want to check out faster, or find what you need in stock. If you have A LOT of time to waste, the other place would be fine.

Michaels is great. I do most of my craft shopping here. Infact, because of their rewards membership, all your transactions are stored in your membership. So even if you dont have ur receipt, they can find the purchase and you can return or exchange items.

This is one of my favorites.There was someone that needed assistance and the guy help her find things then he went to help another customer and she was still trying to get him to understand what she was talking about. Yeah ok I asked her what type of things you want to do she went into a more detailed and nope thats not it took me three times but she went out very pleased and the guy was following us around to learn more about her project that she wanted to get done. Gee whiz I should be working here. Go online. Let me draw a picture of that for you LoL still working on that one.

Employees were helpful and friendly. I was just really disappointed with the Happy Planner section. Almost all of the stickers were gone and there were only a few Big planners left. It was bare.

I love arts and crafts and Im a huge scrap booker. I love going to this store everything is organized well and in order. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable and the discounts are well worth it.

It may not be the best of the biggest of arts and crafts stores, but the store associates give it a lit of heart and thats theMatter of things. the cashier Annie was so gracious when we forgot our 50% store wide coupon. Will be back again real soon.

Small store, not much of a selection and some items damaged

My favorite of the craft stores. Lines were super long yesterday, but clerks moved it along by pre-scanning and bagging the contents of carts. Despite a lot of people, the checkout process was quick! Found everything I was looking for, even got a 15% teacher discount.

I love Michael they have all kinds of craft items its a smaller craft store not as much as Hobby Lobby but I still like this Michaels because its clean the shelves are always stocked you dont go in looking for something and they never have it I usually go get baking products because I like to bake and stencils and craft paper. So no matter what youre looking for you probably could find it at Michaels and it is in the shopping center where Target and Baby Depot I believe it is and a whole bunch of other shopping stores restaurants and fast food joints.
