Nice staff and overall layout. A killer speed bump on entry! Recent rain deluge left muddy puddles but pads were level concrete that was dry.Biggest problem was noise from young uns with their loud cars and trucks on old Rt66 which was only a hundred or so yards away. That only stopped (on a Tuesday night, no less) about 15 minutes before midnight. So perhaps ask for a slot further back in the park?
A clean, well keep campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Have a 45ft Class A towing a pickup truck. Spent the night in a pull through. Easy in and out. Definitely a great place to stay.
We cant say enough good things about this park and its owner. We stopped for 1 night (July 4th) headed west. When we were headed back home (east) we had major vehicle trouble and decided to stop @ Rt 66 again, while our vehicle was being repaired. The owner was so very helpful, which helped with the tremendous stress we were experiencing. It is also a nice park and very convenient to stores and restaurants. Less than 4 miles from everything in town. Quiet park (except for the Independence Day fireworks across the road at the city park, understandably) Level, concrete pads with full hook-ups and wifi. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Route 66 RV Park to everyone.
One of the most pleasant RV parks we have been in. We came for a few days and ended up staying for a few weeks! The sites are spacious, grassy, and shaded. The bathrooms are spotless. There is a large and beautiful park easily walkable from the RV park. And the host, Jim, and his assistant, Marsheila, are warm, friendly, and very helpful. Don’t miss this hidden treasure in Elk City!
Super nice people and beautiful park!! Highly recommend staying here!!
This was a wonderful little surprise! This RV park had nice, clean, spacious restrooms and shady camping spaces. The owner was very friendly, as well.
Friendliness RV Park ever. Owner will meet You at the entrance and guide you to your site. He opened a site closed for the season that was closed to provide for my satellite reception even thought the local electrical company charged him $30 with no change in rate. Park is a little older but well maintained. Rates are reasonable. The place is quiet. Definitely will return
We have lived here for 6 months and we love it! Any issues that we have had, they fix it that day or the next, depending on what is going on. The park is very quiet and peaceful. Everything we need is within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here, whether its short-term or long-term.
After a long drive it was so nice to be greeted by a smiling face directing us in to our spot. Not only did she give us all the details of the park, but also what was in walking distance in town (grocery store, restaurants, museum, park). RV Park was quiet and clean. Wish we had more time to explore. True small town Route 66 feel.
This is the second time we have stayed at this campground. This is the cleanest, nicest privately owned campground I’ve stayed in. Concrete pads, terrific water pressure, excellent wifi, and great restrooms. This is the way all campgrounds should be. Unfortunately, we are always traveling with a determined destination, so we can’t enjoy the amenities of the surrounding area.
Awesome place to live. The owner is nice the park is clean and quiet..
We stayed here for one night on our way back home, and it was a lovely stay. The park is clean and well-maintained. Bathrooms were clean, and staff were friendly. Would stay here again!
Great place to stay. We were traveling late. Called and this RV park was so accommodating to get us a spot. A peaceful place to stay. Spots with space between - nice!
We just left the park after a one night stop which was very pleasant! We were greeted and walked to our spot, #72, which fit our 41’ motor home and tow vehicle without issue. Hookups were all easy, most of the pad was concrete (enough for our legs with jack pads underneath - you will want these and leveling blocks depending on your rig), and it was quiet (we did not use the bathhouse so can’t comment on that). It’s a tidy little park, catering primarily to residents and long term use with a few spots for us transients, close to groceries and things to keep the kids occupied. We took them to the nicest Pizza Hut we’ve ever been in, and stopped at Braum’s for ice cream (please do not miss this!). We had breakfast at Carl’s Jr., and visited the National Route 66 Museum for about 90 minutes before getting on the road - well worth the $16 it cost for our family of 4. This is not an RV resort, but it is a great stopping point on a visit west and we would stay here again.
Friendly staff, clean happy place, will come back again !
Great campground. Jim was very accommodating. Our big ClassA and trailer fit perfectly into the best spot in the campground. Location is perfect. Close to the historic village, grocery store and a few nice restaurants. Unfortunately, we were only there for a stop over in our travel east, so we couldn’t take advantage of the area offerings. Definitely will stay there again if we are in the area.
Very impressive RV park family owned fir over 15 years, several full timers. They have nice pull throughs fhu. $30./ Night
Dont let first impressions fool you. We were in Site 72, a pull through that was shaded and had a cement pad. Jim was wonderful, making sure everything was good. Proximity to Rt 66 Museum is excellent. If you are looking for a resort, this is not it. However for a peaceful site for a few nights this is great.
Wonderful place to stop. Office so caring and attentive. Wifi was great. Easily walk to attractions and food! Definitely will stay again.
Highly recommend this park. The manager, Jimmy, goes far beyond expectations.
Had a fantastic stay here!Plenty of places to walk and see. A beautiful park, a grocery store right across the street and friendly people all around.Water and electric hook up.Drove my Aliner and stayed there for 4 days.Thunderstorms rolled in but made it through with no issues, except for the whole city lost power but it wasnt for long.Single female traveler. Felt safe for the most part. the only part that was different was the showers. They have a code but theyre all gendered and the showers only had a curtain for privacy.I was on edge everytime I showered.Otherwise, great stay!100% recommend.
Safe, clean and the staff was so kind!
Best customer service and friendly business. Large lot. Clean bathrooms. Grocery right across the street. Perfect
The museums are beautiful and there are 7 different buildings turned into old western times. The first doctors office, black Smith shop, caboose you can see. Lots of things, if anyone comes this way thats one place I would suggest.
I picked this RV park for the trees & based on positive reviews.Super friendly!Jim made us feel welcome. He chatted with us briefly after he led us to our spot. What he charged us for the night was more than reasonable.Jim it was nice meeting you, we appreciate your genuine hospitality & we will always stay at your park if/when we need to. Meanwhile, you, your wife & daughter take care
This is convenient for a one or two night stop. Not far off of 1-40E. Walking distance to the store, restaurants, and Route 66 Muesum. Very reasonable price. 4 star due to location and price. Some seasonal rentals reside here.
They have the friendliest owners, it is kept very clean, and the restrooms are nicer than some of the hotels I’ve stayed in. Definitely the best of the RV parks in Elk City, OK!
Very nice quiet place
The manager really went out of his way to please. We really appreciated it. Its a nice place and close to the Route 66 museum. We will stay there again.
Most friendly place I have ever stayed. Nice size lots, very reasonable rates. You cant go wrong!
Its clean and its a safe place for temporary residencies for oilfield workers. The rent is fair to moderate . There is also stores near by with in walking distance. Very friendly people.
A bigger window in the laundry room would be nice for people doing laundry for additional air flow.
Recently stayed, very nice park! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
My husband Ed was going an Jim called an asked how an where he was .very kind man .Im sure Ed will enjoy his stay ...
Nice park. Clean, quite. And very nice and helpful staff. We enjoyed our time here.
They were super friendly. The park isnt new but has everything you need and the location is awesome right on Rt 66. My husband and I were raising money to support Cancer Survivors and they supported us when we were having problems with our RV.
Very clean park and friendly owners. Laundry room is an excellent amenity. Prices are very comparable and among the lowest in western Oklahoma.
Caught the office during lunch, the man was helpful and friendly, the grounds look nice. Didnt use their facilities, but the wifi was amazing compared to anywhere else Ive been, and the nightly rate is good.
Extremely courteous and helpful great place to stay
Enjoyed my stay, we will stay again when we are town. Very nice park.
Great place for your RV Jim is an awesome Rv park owner always taking that extra step to acomidate his customers, definitely a come back to Rv park. Also United super market rite across the street.
Relay a good location in Elk City, its good for if yr looking longterm or short term. Very friendly persons and reasonable prices from daylie, to weekly, bye weekly, and monthly. They have options for Dish network and 2 wi/fy locations on either end of the park. The gentman who works there even took the time to help me set up and get things hooked up and let me know about the area.
Great place
Very quite, and the lot fee is fair
This is not an RV park, it is a mobile home / RV live in park. 380 dollars a month. Call around four got no call back when I was heading to Oklahoma thought I would try to stay for the night its a no go.
I called to ask what their availability was and the receptionist who answered the phone was remarkably unprofessional, rude, and snappy. Definitely did not leave a good impression about the company, and I will be looking at other options.
Very friendly people in the office
If you want a quit place and big lots you need to come here
LANDLORDS TOO GRUMPY!!!
