This little museum is packed full of interesting items! We only checked out the first floor, because my grandmother did not feel well enough to walk up the flight of steps, but there was plenty to see! Our favorite part was the General Store room. It was literally like stepping back in time and walking into an old general store! There were SO MANY vintage items! Tiny little nick nacks to items used every day and beyond. It brought back many memories for my grandmother, from when she was a young girl growing up in Appalachia. If you have a little extra time, it would definitely be a nice addition to your day.

Intriguing local museum that makes the most of the resources it has. The military and Lincoln exhibits were particularly excellent. Brought my 7-year old daughter here to help understand the county she is growing up in. Definitely well worth a stop for anyone passing through.
