Great activity to take the kids to on a rainy day. Only 7$ for 2 kids and there are plenty of things/exhibits to keep the kids busy. I have a 2year old and 11 year old and both kids were entertained. It does need a little TLC as far as toys (missing pieces, worn out toys, etc). Overall it was a great time and great place for kids to be engaged with learning while having fun.

Friendly staff & lots of options for free play! We stopped here after a long drive before checking into our hotel, and our 6-year old didnt want to leave! There are simple kid craft options and a few animals to observe and learn about.

Edit: They are now reopened!!!My daughter loved going to Port Discover growing up. It was a great place for hands on play, where you could play with your child in a fun learning environment. It was a great place to plant the seeds of a passion for STEM in a young mind. Unfortunately, Port Discover is closing its doors permanently, on Friday, August 31, 2018. This little gem of a childrens science center will sincerely be missed!

I used to volunteer as well as take my sisters kids. it is a wonderful place.

Would love to take my kids but they are never opened the one time they were my wife took them and most the stuff was out of order or the o e person on duty didnt know how to work the stuff or what ever

Great place for Grandma with grandkids! Small enough for low energy grandma but diverse enough to hold a ADHD attention for a good hour. Praise GOD!

So very sad to hear that Port Discover is now permanently closed. You were the best thing to happen to EC for children. Were visiting my parents this weekend and my daughter asked could we go! I was googling hours and saw that it is now closed : (. Hopefully under new leadership it can make a comeback! Anything is possible!!!!!!!!!!

Pet Discover is an excellent resource for the community. They have so many programs for kids, from hands on science and history events, stem and robotics classes, week-long learning camps, events for toddlers and adults as well. They host a chess club for kids 5 and up that my grandson is enjoying right now. Fun, patient informed people work here and seem to really enjoy what they do.

This is definitely something different persay to take the kids to n have fun, n they will have fun.

Awesome place, so much to do and play with! So much new to learn as well! Staff is great, we love Miss Dana and everyone who makes it such a friendly, interesting and so much fun place.

Kind of misleading description of the event. Made it sound like more would be involved. However, my grandson really loves going to Port Discovery.

Extremely rude staff. They close the entire place down on a Saturday and you hadh no way of knowing. My son was in tears because he was excited to go, and they refuse to even let us in the door. That is terrible!

The kids really had a great time. Staff were polite and welcoming.

Great place to take the youngin. Activities are usually free and open to the public.

Port Discover is basically a smaller childrens museum, which are always great places for children. Its also a great spot for birthday parties.

Fun, clean, interactive, friendly staff.

They were closed for renovations but a very friendly member of their staff came out and spoke with us to let us know about their plans and even let her four-year-old come in and meet their snake.

The kids always have a blast!
