Very pretty, peaceful place. The Town has been improving the facility a lot.

Its just a nice place to visit and people were wearing masks and sitting at least 6 feet away from each other. Very comfortable.

Best launch ramp in the area. Its usable at all tides although the currents can be strong.

Easy to get there.A large area to hold a family gathering.. A large over hang with a huge fire area to cook. Lots of picnic tables under the overhang plus an area to set up games. Please enjoy.

I was not that impressed with the place. They had one really nice gazebo and one that was only a cement slab with a cover overhead. They had three clean restrooms but they were a lot closer to the nice gazebo. They had a nice play area for children near the smaller gazebo.

Nice family place, playground, bathrooms and fishing. The grounds are kept nice.

Love the combination of trail, beach, play area and field. More than one occasion weve run into wasps in the playground structures. Beach is relatively clean, dog friendly, and a decent place to find shells if you dont feel like trekking to a bigger beach. Trail is sometimes tricky and overgrown but worth the walk if you have bug spray and check for ticks afterwards. All in all a good place but the wasps and overthrown trails led me to take away one star.

A favorite place for family gatherings. Nice that the portapotties are gone & the bathrooms are open again. However, toilet paper, soap or hand sanitizer, & paper towels would be nice to have.

Always a beautiful location. Great for everyone and handicap accessible (besides the big lawn). Great for all types of events! Weve had family reunions, get togethers, birthdays, graduation parties, and a wedding. Great for pictures and great for kids!

For a large group picnic/cookout, this place is pretty good. There is a large grill for you to use with charcoal as well as many picnic tables inside the covered pavilion area. I have not personally used the boat launch, but it seems to be well maintained and convenient - theres been people here launching their boats every time Ive been here. Theres a lot of parking so thats a plus too.My only negative is that the big grassy area with the pavilion unfortunately doesnt really look out at the water.

A better boat launch than Hilton Park across the river. Drawback is they charge $20 for out of towners.
