Michaels

I like the paint. I pick up all of my supplies from Michaels. Theyre basically a giant store for arts and crafts. Staff is courteous and helpful. Them answered all the questions that Ive had getting into this new hobby. Eldersburg location is one of the better ones.

Helpful people with a wide range of materials available. Place is very neat and rarely ever disorganized

Michaels has a large variety of arts and crafts items, espicially during the holiday season. The safety precautions they use in the store helped us feel secure while shopping.

Wonderful employees!Extremely helpful even when the company sells extremely poor quality items.Dont buy styleline poster frames! Not even worth it for free. They fall apart as soon as the shrink wrap is removed and wont stay together long enough to hang posters.Studio Decor Belmont is more expensive but worth it on sale but one get two free. Solid frame that doesnt fall apart.

This store is always well stocked and I get through the check out quickly. Staff is friendly

Michaels has a great variety of supplies. If you can use a coupon, its cheaper than Wal Mart.

Love all the fun crafty kids stuff. A Michaels trip is always a blast!

The workers are always very unhelpful, rude and disrespectful. They like to boss you around like you are their employee rather than a paying customer. I could not believe they even had the audacity to criticize me on the way I look. I never criticized the way they looked, even though there was plenty of material (believe me.) I was speechless, but decided to walk out and not be party to such shoddy business practices. I tried to support a local business but they clearly were not interested in earning my business. From now on, I will be buying my craft supplies from Amazon for a much cheaper price. They can shove their corona infested Chinese items where the sun doesnt shine.

The staff was very helpful. The shelves were fully stocked. I found everything on my list.

Good selection of frames for original watercolor artwork. did not need tut o buy mats, so saved $$.

Super nice cashier. Well stocked. Decent sales

They had the brand and color yarn I needed. Thanks!

Only one register open & 15 people in line. I put my stuff down & walked out.

We like Michaels. For a craft store they have an incredibly complete inventory. If you cant find it, ask. Store personnel are very friendly although sometimes you have to search around to find someone in the aisles. Checkout is pretty well organized. All in all a good place to shop.

Always love it here

Great prices and service

Im not a fan of Michaels, theyve taken their coupon scam to a whole new level. If you dont use their coupons, youre getting ripped off. They make you use a coupon to get their products at a reasonable price. Avoid this store unless youre sure what a reasonable price for your item is. Otherwise, buy it online.

This Michaels is fairly new. I had a fine experience, found what I needed. Great spot for Christmas decorations and wrappings.

I was there looking for wedding items. I wish they had more to offer for wedding decorations other than 2 aisles basically.

Its usually empty which is nice because otherwiae itd be very hard to get thru. lots of good projects for kids, and artsy things if you need ideas it can be inspirational. Sort of expensive but you will always find coupons online, simply search for it. helps a lot

Better selections of craft supplies.

Very well stocked art supplies of all kinds. I had difficulty finding exactly what I needed via looking around, but the staff are knowledgeable enough to help. Deals are bountiful, make sure to check the website for discounts, as cost can add up. They have items ranging in skill and expertise, and several shelves of children oriented toys and fun. If they dont have an item in store, you can always check online, and they can have it shipped to your local store for free. Only issue is that it does take a while to find something, numbered isles with an in-store catalogue would be best.

Very helpful staff, and very organized shelving system. Was easily able to find everything I needed.

Didnt have anything I was looking for!

Good customer service well stocked

Great selection. High prices. Be sure to check online for coupons before going.

My kids always find things they love at Michaels

Staff were really helpful and the discounts were great - my total came to much less than I expected! They often have big sales! Dont forget to check for coupons!

The only problem I had is that I hate this parking lot. Not really their fault, I know. But I had no real problems with the store itself.

Clean. Cashiers helpful and friendly. Ample parking.

Just stopped in to grab a gift card and browse...very clean store and the staff was very knowledgeable. I was surprised to see they had boogie boards at a craft store! They have a great assortment of crafts.

Clean store, great selection. Always great seasonal items too.

Went in to buy a wacom pen tablet and it said it was in stock online. Walked in and they had two boxes on the shelf, yet had none in stock. Find it kind of ridiculous that they kept the boxes out on the shelf and advertise that its in stock but dont actually have the item available.

Couldnt find the signs I was looking for until an associate dug through the stock and found 6(!) of what I needed! I will have some happy people this Christmas!

5 star selection but 2 star customer service. I asked an employee for help and she barely recognized I was there and didnt even look at me and continued her task. Cashier scrolled through Instagram while collecting my payment. However one man in framing was very nice and professional. Just my experience at this store, the selection is great in floral and home decor.

Good selection in stock. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, compared to other locations Ive visited.

I love Michaels for all my craft needs. The staff there are always so friendly and helpful too. I wish I could just live there

Love love love Michaels! Only place I go for crafting need

Helpful staff

Wonderful food, great staff, great desserts

Very clean and organized. Staff were very helpful and greeted us and were very friendly. Always find what I need for decorating and crafts for the kids!

One register open with 10 people in line. Noone on the floor to help find items either.

With so many coupons and events and such great stock, since it moved into Eldersburg I found myself here at least 2 or 3 times a month and never walk out empty handed. The staff is friendly and a lot of the classes and events are free, or mostly free. My kids love every class from making slime to decorating wreaths. Its a great place to get birthday presents too.Ordering online and picking up in store is simple too. Its rarely taken more than 2 minutes to complete the process and again, the staff is very nice to work with.Love this store!

Love this Michaels in particular because the employees are super helpful! Plus they work with your coupons rather than play dumb, like other stores.

Great service, loved my cashier, I think her name was Stacey, she had a great dance of humor talking to me while she was ringing up my order, I will be coming back again

If you look on line they will often have 50% off 1 item codes. They also have 20% off they offer in the mail. Those specials make Michaels a good deal. Otherwise everything in there is a bit expensive. They do have some great in store deals, you just need to look. I gave 5 stars because the place has absolutely everything you ever needed. Its clean and staff is friendly.

As a teacher I go here a ton for rapid prototyping materials and class supplies. My kids love finding craft ideas and building their creativity.

Great selection somewhat crowded

Always a good experience when I visit this Michaels. Cashiers are very friendly. Store is well stocked, clean & organized.

Customer service at creaming was great.

Want to start a new do-it-yourself project? This is the place to find all the stuff that you need, and for a quite fair price. Really, this is the best art supply store!

Used their electric cart. Plenty of room to move around.floor people very helpful

Good location but hard to find someone if you need help.

Its a craft store. It has all the crafty things that you might want.

The store is organized and tidy. Its easy to find what youre looking for. Customer service is awesome!!! I love my local Michael Store!!

On of my favorite places

Always clean and friendly, helpful staff.

I always find what Im seeking

Very helpful staff and friendly. Saturday crafts for the children are fun and the parents can get some shopping done or join in

They have the best yarn for finger knitting.

Always clean and neat. Very nice staff as well.

Would have given them a higher rating, but they screwed up our framing order. We had three pictures framed and they only got two of them done correctly. We had to leave the third picture there for them to fix.

This store has been open several month now. The learning curve for the cashiers should be finished but everytime I get to the register it takes at least ten minutes to check out.Often the cashier doesnt know what she has already wrung and needs to go back, call a manager to get a key, realize an item is over charging significantly. Additionally multiple times after getting my receipt, I have had to go back in because the item number or total didnt add up correctly. Then I wait even longer to have the receipt adjusted. When in search of a specific item on several occasions I looked for a staff to ask questions. On most occasions I could find no one to help and gave up. On one occasion the lady just told me where to go but didnt bring me there. I searched all over and couldnt find the item, only later to have her as a cashier and she stated she sent me to the wrong aisle.I contacted the company a month ago insisting they need more cashiers on the weekend and have never heard even a reply that they received the inquiry.I now drive the extra 20 minutes to Joanns and still get home faster than I ever did going to this Michaels location. The three stars received in this review were earned for having well stocked craft products.

Everything you need, good prices

Had everything I need for what was on my list from there

I would have given it 5 stars however, their meats are way over priced.

Friendly and helpful staff.

I almost always find what I am looking for

Neat and organized!

The best place for all crafts and very friendly. Customers service is excellent.

Amazing cashier, very patient, friendly and so refreshing. Also the ladies in the bead section were funny and very helpful

This is a nice place to look for craft items. Make sure to look at your receipt as they often have discounts around 40 percent off available.

Always great prices

My favorite craft store...besides Home Depot of course. ;)

Frame shop personnel (Samantha) was incredibly helpful and made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

Can always fine some neat craft thing to do

Occasionally in disarray and checkout can be a wait.

Great customer service and friendly.

Good food good times

Always has a great deal or coupon going on! Kids Club and Make Breaks on Saturdays are fun, easy, and great for the family!

Nice size Michaels, great one day sales. My only issue is that its hard to find a rep on the sales floor to help if you have questions.

Great associates who work there

Could spend many of hours here!! Very pricey for most things, but, coupons are easily available and offer deep discounts.

Everyone was very helpful and I was able to find everything I needed.

Very large selection of different crafts.

Lots of craft supplies.

Love this store. Has everything you need for crafts.

I always say .. I can do that .. I can do that and I dont. Wish they had classes to teach crafty things.

Donna in frames is outstanding and values customer service

Love the stuff they have their. Perfect for finding things for DIY. Definetly reccomend!

The manager went out of her way to help us.

Their selection is huge and the staff is super friendly!

It has everything that I could ever want.

They usually have what Im looking for.

Disappointed with thier selection. I feel Westminster and Howard County all had better selections. Especially with thier beads.

I found what I needed and everyone was nice

I absolutely love this store.....

This is a brand new store. The staff is courteous and herlpful.

Great people

Great art supplies
