Memorial has always been a great walking area. The pool and library although closed due to the pandemic they are nice when open testing site is pretty quick and well organized also

Love this park so much. Plenty of trees and great area to walk around. My girls love to run around and never too crowed. Has a great sidewalk around the entire park.

Memorial Park was a place back in the 70s that drew alot of people including teenagers and Low Riders of that time that was packed around the whole surrounding area of the park with so many cars, picnics that made the park very popular. But over the course of time things changed alot. Now its just a park that lost its popularity of that time and few people go to that park and Ive noticed the park is not maintained by the City Parks Administration and just do as they please. I just went there to eat lunch with a friend in the vehicle and after eating took off. Unfortunately this place lost its luster as a park.

Love taking walks here. So much space, so beautiful. Path is not too easy and not to difficult to follow, good exercise.

Beautiful park. Great for picnics, birthday parties, walks, and youll normally find the ice cream truck nearby. You often see many people walking their furr babies as well. Library nearby. Inside pool and special event area you can rent. Its a great park. Also the famous rose garden across the street and a baseball field open to public.

Went to get tested for the covid and the staff there was just unbelievable, arguing amongst themselves and having us wait until 10:40 to start, when in actuality it was supposed to start at 9. We arrived at 6 am and there were already people in line. They should be ashamed of their behavior. I suggest to go to Marty Robinson on Railroad where the soldiers show so much respect and are very helpful and courteous.

Great place for pictures and to chill and hang out with family and friends. There was many areas to do things like bike, skate, play ball, etc and I even enjoyed seeing the wildlife in their natural setting.

Roses everywhere!!! So well maintained, walkways are clean and level,flower beds were immaculate. Good mix of sun and shade with bench seating throughout. The smell of flowers everywhere, such a.lovely way to.spend an afternoon ! Ps- no charge.

Very nice and well kept park. Theres an indoor swimming pool. The grass is really green and neatly trimmed. Theres alot of trees for shade. Enjoyable place.

Had a lovely afternoon at the park. Picnic tables, photo spots, and rolling knolls to rest on and meander. A warning to fellow travelers: there was a black widow spider under our table, at about knee height. Maybe check before you sit!

One mile lap challenging because it is not flat course. Park elevation allows for >180° scenic view of city. New upgrades to pool & tennis courts a big plus. Winters can be fun to.

There are hills and many shade trees, the air is fresh and smells of pine trees. My wife and I love to walk around this park and watch the squirrels. They also have a playground for the little ones. This is one of our favorite parks to visit.

Perfect place for a picnic!! Unfortunately everyone knows this and therefore it can be a little loud here sometimes but its an overall excellent spot to get out of the house.

Its one of, if not the best park in town. Its big, its got a playground, picnic spots, hills, a small bridge and its great to jog around, among many other things. Theres also a pool, a tennis court and I believe also a small library all right next to it.

Covid testing site was the best vacation in years.

In my opinion, the most beautiful park in El Paso. Lots of shade giving trees and lots of grass and areas to relax.

Fun place to be, but it gets a bit crowded, not enough to be cramped, but in reality my only gripe with this place is how popular it is, for exercising, or just for some family fun

It Is a good place to run, it has little plates with 1/2 mile to know how much you have been running.

I came to the park for a birthday party of a baby celebrating his 1 year. I hadn’t been to this park since I was a kid. I had forgotten how beautiful this place was. Not to mention my friend outdid herself with the decorations and theme.

This Park is a great place to go for a morning or afternoon walk. Most neighbors living close to the park go and exercise there for a while everyday. Its also great for a Holliday picnic or a weekend outdoors. Just the place for a cookout. Need to get in contact with mother Nature? Just the right place.

One of the best parks in El Paso because of the size and the secluded feeling in some parts.The plants are well maintained, the paths are long or short, and it’s next to a library so I could check out a book and walk around while reading.There is a great play area for children as well!

My favorite park. Nestled in a beautiful part of El Paso. Train runs by from time to time. Library there and a swimming pool across the street. Ive made a million memories here. Plenty of room for laying down a blanket and snapping photos with the Franklins in the background.

The park has a potential to be one of primer venues for El Paso, if only the city would delicate more effort to maintain it. Much is spent on other parks, how about elevating this park to what is use to be.

Arguably the best park in town. Its kind of a toss-up between Memorial Park and Album Park, otherwise known as Eastwood Park.Memorial Park is spread out, it has lots of trees and it is hilly. Potentially a very very beautiful Park. Theres one problem though, it is overrun with weeds. Unfortunately, just about every Park in El Paso is overrun by weeds.

Always clean and well maintained

Kids love this parks playground. Has tennis courts, rec center, and pavilions for parties. Although, if your looking for peace and quiet this is not your park. Its a little too loud because the train passes RIGHT next to it.

Best park I have been to so far. Only lacks seating at the actual playground. I did see a tavle far our away from the playground, wouldnt be able to watch kids play from there, too far. Clean, wood chips on ground and new cared for equipment!

Have you ever been to a nice park, if not then come on down to memorial park! It has a lot to offer liked memorials and parking. Witness the many trees, state of the art tennis courts, and the elementary school right next door. It is a pleasant little gem that is showered my many green grasses and a gorgious mountain just a view away!

Wonderful place to play, relax, or jog. Markers on the ground to track your miles. Super fun playground that even my 12 year old enjoyed. Lots of trees and open grass areas.

Great place for photos & picnics

I have nothing but fond memories of this park, and I remember as a kid my mom would take me here just to walk around. Its nice and huge and has an excellent scenery, really captivating the essence of a great park. However, at night there are a few shady figures that linger around

There is truly many things commemorative of this city park. It is a go-to for special events in a wide open, elegant outdoor setting, from weddings to cookouts and little league events to excellent photography settings.

Always nice to have a little outing at Memorial Park!

My husband and me took our granddaughter here for the very first time. She loved it and so did we. Everyone was nice and friendly, the ice cream truck was there too. Lots and lots of space for her to run around.

Its been years since Ive visited this park and its still as beautiful as I remember it. Very well kept and clean. There were weddings being officiated, photoshoots for quinceañeras, picnics and romantic walks taking place.

Beautiful scenery to just kick back and relax during the day and have a picnic or even a birthday party and grill.

The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to assist you. However their equipment is very outdated and not funtioning properly. It seems to me that this branch has been neglected by the city or whomever funds libraries.

Art in the Park Festival provided family fun and entertainment. Gave a 4 rating, I would have liked to see more artist. The park is established and a nice place to picnic.

Nice park to spend time with restrooms and next door to public library. You just have to put up with the trains passing.

This park has been in our family for generations. Always a nice place to go to take the kids, walk, run, romance or just quiet your thoughts.

Its a nice park...some shady areas and quite large. There is a library right there too and in some areas, you can pick up there WIFI from outside. Plenty of picnic places too.

The speed limit is 15 miles per hour all around the park. Everyone speeds including EPISD school buses. Not safe because of the inconsiderate drivers who fail to recognize posted speed limit and other traffic control devices. Dont let your child or pet be a fatality.

Great green area! Rare for El Paso. Loved the trees and hills in the park, plus the Mountain View. However, the playground kind of sucked in comparison if you have smaller tots, this one is too dangerous for them to play on. Also I would avoid playing here in the summer. The park is not covered and the slides BURN. Also think it would be cool if they added a pond in the middle (think Central Park anyone?) since it’s in central EP

Nice area to picnic in. The party area is well taken care of. Clean rest rooms. Beautiful swimmung pool.
