Teddys is THE known cougar hot spot. And those cougars like dark meat if you get my drift. So if that meets your parameters well you will have a pretty good time. Otherwise, $4.50 for domestics and a cover for a place that is stuck in the 1980s seems a bit much for me. Additionally, the dress code is silly considering the place is literally a dank basement with poor ventilation and little seating; something to consider these days when you elbow to elbow with everyone.
I hadnt been to Teddys in roughful 11 years since moving away from El Paso in the mid 2000s. I remember coming here as a young, 20 something year old and thinking the crowd was so boring and old because they were in their 30s-50s. Now, as a mid 30s gal, I love this spot. They play a decent mix of music that has a little something for everyone to jam to. There is a SMALL dance floor, bar seating, some tables, and an outdoor patio for folks to smoke and drink on. The drinks are priced fairly, and the bartenders are attentive. There is an ATM machine in the lobby, and a security officer posted outside the door. Definitely recommend this spot to the 35 and up club.
I love this placeeeeeeee. @mondopic08
This place out dated, over priced drinks no drafts terrible music played by old ladies over 50 and a seating plan that makes no sense. Your either in the way as you have your drink or are scrolled away in a dark corner inhaling mold. I can’t think of a good reason to spend money here.
Pretty chill spot to get a beer and dance.
Alright, they have live bands during the week and play different kind of music on weekend. Salsa, retro and latin music
Its ok
