The prices are insane for El Paso. The course was shutdown due to not making money. Now the new owners jacked the prices up even more. $3400 for a membership during an economic hardship is ludicrous. The course is always in great shape but $34 for 9 holes. Insane
Considering all the course and staff have been through! It is moving forward and should be in championship form by the spring!
Gal charged us too much and could not fixed it price is higher now but no drinks or water to drink started off well I was impressed when they reopened now its going the wrong way please take a good look at where you want to go in the future.
I went here on New Years eve to hit some golf balls at the range they had.Its only 14.99 for the range and you can stay as long as you want. The driving range has a small cooler bear it for water and you get to drive a golf cart out there if you want.Over all great range with multiple targets.Unsure of farthest distance but looks to be about 300+Lunch menu want that mad either
Dry, dry, dry, and so slow. Save your money and play elsewhere.
I had a great time playing this golf course. The fairways and greens were in good shape. What gives this course a 5 star rating is the golf bag drop off zone with attendants, and the complimentary ice cold water bottles every few holes. The hydration stations were greatly appreciated in the hot weather! I will be back! Thank you!
What a find. I could play this golf course over and over and never get bored. Owned by the ElPaso airport; watch planes all day but not directly overhead. Scenery beautiful. Roadrunners and bunnies for side entertainment. Lots and lots of sand traps. And desert. Helps to be a straight ball hitter. Greens are consistent and well manicured; frustrating amount of roll for this average golfer. Price is quite reasonable for this caliber of course. Beautiful clubhouse, polite staff. Golfers we interacted with quite polite. Next time I travel past El Paso, I will golf here again.
Awesome venue for events. Love the food and the view is spectacular! The GM Tim Krebs is very welcoming and accommodating.
This venue has breathe taking views. Great place to host weddings quinceaneras, and non profit organizations to host. Love love, love this place. The best thing of all, you can play golf!
Golf course was in great shape, very challenging. The golf shop attendant was very pro friendly and professional. Cart staff was really good. Well worth the money.
A one of a kind course and club house is a true gem in the heart of El Paso. Ive participated in a number of tournaments and internal/corporate events, each being an A+ experience from start to finish.
Pretty good food, serving sizes were not as big as the base golf course & it costs a lot more here, but there is nothing wrong with the place..... Clean
What a track! Desert golf with beautiful mountain vistas wonderful layout. First class all the way. Must play!
My wife and I had our wedding here and they did a great job! They were very accommodating and receptive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this as a venue for a special event or wedding. Our guests could not stop talking about how much of a great venue this was.
Course is in good shape, greens are still recovering from the summer/fall stress, bar and grill have great options
Best public golf option in El Paso. Driving range balls, water, Tees included with greens fees makes the price quite comparable to other courses. Very challenging with natural bunkers, some water, rolling terrain and protected greens from the large natural features. Grass always in excellent condition. Make a tee time, not much opportunity for walk on. Lunch options during the week are served fast and on budget for those on a schedule. Cant recommend enough.
An absolutely first class experience. Country Club amenities and course quality at public course rates! The beautiful Franklin Mountains make for a stunning visual. Staff were gracious and very helpful and lunch was very good. A lovely experience.
Great course m!!!
Great food and service from staff. Highly recommended.
We have gone to the Butterfield for Thanksgiving for the last two years. The food was always wonderful. The macaroni and cheese made with bacon was divine. The stuffing delicious. However, this year was a HUGE disappointment!. The macaroni was plain, ol macaroni you could get at Lubys. The food was cold, the bread was hard and the broccoli was mixed with brussel sprouts! BRUSSEL SPROUTS? Who does that? And finally there was NO dressing/stuffing!!!! What is thanksgiving dinner without stuffing?! And the prices went up. I guess well have to find a new place for next Thanksgiving. Shame on management for obviously cutting corners, but not prices. Very disappointed.
Great course. Great driving range n puttin n sandtrap practice area nice. Good good cold water. Great time
Not a good experience...at 14th hole without any communication a Tournament was put in front of our groups.Waiting for 5 holes to finish....Terrible course management...again$64 to play.....?????
A beautiful course in the winter I imagine its spectacular in the summer. Its challenging but then thats golf. Id recommend that you make time to play this course if your in the area, you wont be disappointed.
Great tome
Great course, great pro shop and staff, inside and outside, and great restaurant. Always a great time.
Course is always well maintained. Best course in El Paso area.
Food quality only... very poor
Place very clean comfortable quiet environment . Nice place to come and enjoy some lunch not necessarily have to play golf. Every single staff I saw smiled made eye contact this is a great place to have an event
Outstanding golf venue in east El Paso. Full customer service. A beauty professional course in the desert
One of the most beautiful golf courses El Paso Tx has to offer. It’s like hidden jewel in the desert just waiting to be discovered, highly recommend checking this place out!
GECU. Tournament course looks beautiful. Lets hit them
One of the best if not the best course in El Paso...Challenging and scenic...youll definitely get your moneys worth.
One of the top-ranked golf courses in Texas and probably the best course in El Paso. Every hole is unique and the 18th hole is visually stunning. Staff is great and very accommodating.
Very nice atmosphere...would like to go back and see more.
Awesome course. I will be back. Used every club in the bag. Very friendly staff
Very nice and food was good
Best public golf course in El Paso!
Probably the best golf course in El Paso. The course is very challenging and obviously exceptional. Beautiful views all around since its in the middle of the desert. Always a great place to golf whether its spring, summer, fall or even winter. This place has everything you need for a great golfing experience.
Best golf course in El Paso! I am a Senior Golf Member that play on Mondays for $27.07 using a two man format play. Seniors/resident pay $43.00 weekly, more on weekends. Up to $65.00. It is all worth the price of play!
A very nivlce course. One of the more fun ones to play. The more expensive in el Paso but worth it. Awesome driving, chipping areas.
The golf course is in great shape. I enjoy playing here the staff is tremendous.
Paid for golf and a lesson on the course with Trevor. He was amazing...so helpful and shared special tips to help my game. Yes, i was pleased!! Course is scenic but not much shade...it was hot! Check it and him out!!
I got my father, who was visiting, a gift card for a round of golf for his birthday. They made it so easy, were very helpful & friendly. He loved the course and informed me that I could get him another round at Butterfield anytime!
Best place in el Paso for lunch.
Should be a 2.5, anyways service was OK place is beautiful. Mothers day brunch way over priced at $29 . Food was not terrible but very average, could cook it myself .... what really grabbed my goat was them insisting shrimp cocktail was shrimp, it was obviously processed chicken just like fake crab... the staff however was completely fooled, or conspired that it was indeed shrimp ... sorry guys I know shrimp and I know not shrimp .... overall I wouldnt eat here again unless I golfed and w as extremely hungry
The premier golf course in the El Paso area!
Good views, service, and food
Very nice place, everyone is very cordial
Course looking good.
Great place to play
I love this place. Play here as often as I can when Im in town. Top notch facilities and the course is challenging. Its a little pricey but thats to be expected for green grass in the desert.
Would get five stars but I have a major gripe. Cell phone service is horrible and the main building does not have Wi Fi to connect to.
Incredible course, difficult play, but great.
Cant go 1 week with playing here awwwhh...The best place to T off
It was a super nice course very friendly people
Incredible lay out. Very challenging around the greens
Had a good time playing this course and the twilight rate is the way to go. Club rentals could be a little better but not terrible (need different putters). Wind was difficult at times, but that was expected (drove the green on the par 4 15th at 323 down wind though). Course had its easy holes and hard holes. A good mix to be honest. Greens were true but ball marks were an issue. Staff was extremely friendly and the ranger Brian was very helpful!
Looks great. Gotta play the soon!!!
Poor drive range but nice course
Ate at the restaurant for dinner, very good food. Careful with driving out, there are lots of wild rabbits running around
I just visited this place because of a seminar about our health the food was delicious.*
Great course and top notch staff. Course is greening up nicely and is a solid buy.
I play a lot of golf. Played in several countries and this course was a pleasant surprise. It was even better than the pictures show online. It is probably the best course Ive played for the price. Ive played
Im heading to the golf shop it was very clean very organized love jt
Beautiful venue. Was particularly beautiful at sunset
Better than great
Very nice golf course run by people who obviously care with an excellent restaurant and bar that has great food at a great price served by very friendly people. There pro shop is great too.
4 stars is too low. 5 star might be a little high. Id rate it right behind Red Hawk in Las Cruces. Very friendly staff.
Great course and even friendlier staff
Went there for a tournament. Beautiful course, well maintained, and delicious food on top of that.
Great course, some problems in Fairways 13 and 14,Rabbits have eaten parts of the lawn, Outside of that, excellent golf course
This is a fabulous golf course. We were just down there for the USBC bowling tournament and planed on playing golf while there. This was a great find. The people we very friendly helped us with everything. I very highly recommend this course, you wont be sorry !
Excelent golf Course!! Probably the best in El Paso.
Great food and a great place!
The best golf course in el paso hands down
Great golf in ep Tom fazio design course
A very nice course and is in great shape. The greens roll good, but the bunkers need work. It is probably the best golf course in El Paso.
Great course for the cost. Unique terrain with a good mix of fun and challenging holes. And there are multiple strategies that can be employed on several holes; a quality of most great courses. My only demerit is for maintenance; fwys and greens are fine, other areas not so much. The course isnt Erin Hills or TPC Sawgrass, but I would recommend to anyone.
First Class Golf Course!!
Great course the only reason I didmt give it a 5 star was because they dont offer cleaning stations for your clubs and the rabbit poop on the grass is out of control, I understand its good for the grass but that much pop aint good for my shoes
Best public cource around. Fairly expensive for not even having GPS in the carts like many other courses in the area. Very scenic
Nice course. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. Good military rates and awesome twilight deal that starts at 2 pm daily!
Great course, friendly and helpful staff, cold beer, and all the balls you can hit on the driving range...
This is my favorite gold course in EP. Always well kept up. Get the 6 pack and save.
By far one of the best courses Ive played. Fairways and greens are in perfect conditon. For the conditon of this course, you would expect to pay at least $90 a round. Twilight on a weekday is wide open. $27 for 18 (Twilight) is the best bargain you can find in El Paso, and that includes the cart. Every three holes has an ice chest full of complementary bottled water. And each cart has two towels and 6 tees waiting for you. Only thing missing is GPS systems in the cart, but hey, beggers cant be choosers. This place sets the par for golf courses worldwide. Still trying to figure out how they can stay in bisiness for such great rates.
We went to drive balls for the first time in years. $15 for all the balls you drive plus putting and chipping we had fun at a beautiful facility with lots of friendly and courteous people around, staff and users.
Outstanding customer service!
This is just about my favorite, the greens are excellent and the coarse layout is fantastic, very fun to play
Get golfing, only reccomend a map or markers in the road ways hard to find holes, in tournament as a sponsor..... Lost
Excellent course, service is good. But all carts were running out of power
