Very beautiful garden. I now know the names of plants I have seen locally. The salt cypress maze added a bit of fun. Local history posted which added to the experience.

What a lovely and peaceful oasis in our concrete jungle!! I dont know how many times I drove by here wanting to stop, but never seemed to have the time. Today I my friend says, I want to show you something. And we wound up here! What a fantastic surprise! Driving by, you never expect the treasure hidden behind the stone wall. So peaceful and charming. A little slice of heaven. I dont want to tell what is here because it will ruin the surprise. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. And you get a small history lesson from the local area as you walk through the garden. There is a $2 admission for adults and $1 for seniors and kids. They also take donations. Highly recommended if you have a few hours to relax.

More a beautiful place for a wedding, or quiet walk than a real botanical garden.birdwatching. not a ton of labels. My kids loved the maze . The koi pond was very charming. Across the parking lot is a place you can buy rescued native plants. They go on sale at the end of the summer. Great area for birwatching.

Gorgeous oasis in El Paso. I stopped by here on a partly cloudy day after getting coffee nearby. The gardens gates are left open during business hours with a honesty box at the front door. Its $2 cash per person, unless youre qualify as Military, Senior Citizen, or young child. The gardens are relatively small but very beautiful. They have a charming central fountain, a variety of cacti, some of which flower, regional medicinal plants, and surprisingly a water lily pond with live Koi fish. They also have a gazebo and grill you can use. I definitely recommend checking this place out if youre nearby.

The El Paso Desert Botanical Garden is a nice place to visit in the spring and early summer, as in the winter there is not much to see as far as the vegetation. The information provided in the park is interesting, independent of the season, making it a worthwhile visit any time during the year. The signs providing information are very informative with interesting details about the history of El Paso and the influence of the Spanish family Lira. It also tells about the influence of the Magoffin family. A nice and quiet place to take people out of State to learn about El Paso.

I had my wedding ceremony at 4pm on 11-30-2019 at Keystone Heritage Park and it was a beautiful location with very friendly staff. I worked directly with Benita and she was very helpful. She provided us with a list of vendors that really helped cut down on the search for quality companies to work with for other aspects of the wedding, such as linens. The garden staff provided us with 100 chairs for the ceremony (which surprisingly was not enough!) and we provided chair covers and bows. We added minimal decorations and at the last minute the garden staff was able to provide us with outdoor heaters, as long as we provided the propane. It was a cold day but the heaters helped and the place was beautiful for the ceremony and pictures. We took pictures by the fountain and the ceremony was to the right in a grassy area with 4 yuccas. There was a covered area we selected as plan b that we luckily did not have to use. I am so glad our guests, who had never been to the gardens, had the opportunity to witness the beauty here. Weather is unpredictable but we had a huge crowd and beautiful location. I highly recommend Keystone Heritage Park!

Small, desert botanical garden that is maintained completely by volunteers and donations. It is an easy stroll around the gravel and paved pathways, with lots of opportunities to sit and enjoy the fountains and the ample sculpture and artwork. Plus, bathrooms were some of the best Ive seen in a public place. It looks small from the outside, but there are walking trails out of the property towards the archaeological digs, and the wetlands area. If you are in El Paso this is definitely worth the visit!

This park is very lovely. The water features are beautiful and theres a lot of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I decided to come her for my birthday. I had a lovely picnic in a secluded alcove near a water feature. The natural wetlands were truly amazing. It felt like I was transported to a totally different city. I saw bird species Id never seen before in real life. I highly recommend visiting if you like learning about local flora and fauna. There were great features for the kids too! An enjoyable maze, and a sand pit for them to get absolutely filthy in

A lovely walk around this botanical garden is a perfect way to spend a few hours. This land is managed by High Desert Native Plants Nursery which is right across the lot and worth checking out for ones native plant needs. The volunteers here are working hard to get this place fully running and even more beautiful then it already is. A decent number of plants and cacti are labeled as more are coming with the communities support. The wetlands to the north also runs through this area. An easy walk with art, history, plants, an beauty are a must check out in this part of town. An open air theatre is here as well as a maze for kids and adults. A large sand box for kids to play and many benches can be used along the trail. Washroom and water fountain can be found here as well. Local artists display there work in the walls and around the garden. Perfect spot to learn about the area and the history of the future.
