The Asian lady was not helpful at all very much into her own thing the Hispanic man who takes care of the fish was very helpful.Not sure if the fish have the same water being pumped into them that would be bad because diseases will travel. The fish for the most part looked healthy.the Hispanic man recommended small koi for an outside pond not goldfish not sure if that would be accurate or he was just trying to sell koi but the koi are pretty cheap $6.99.They did not have any aquatic plants at all the recommended Petco close by.half the store was fish tanks, was not impressed with the fish selection compared to Petco and the other half was mostly food for birds.

Back area was kinda musty but the betta I got from here was pretty healthy and the fish don’t seem bad at all.

Its a Small old school pet store, but my favorite part is the great selection of tropical fish, special orders are available too.

Went in to buy reptile food meal worms and crickets. They have them but doesnt seem like they really sell for reptiles. I mainly saw they have a variety of birds and fishes. I saw some reptiles in the front but its not a place you would go if you need a variety of food for reptiles. Nice people though . Good customer service but not what I was looking for...

They have a little bit of everything. I really like this place because theyre prices are so affordable. Ive been here several times. It doesnt look like much but its a great place to get a small pet like a bird, turtle, reptile or fish. I get my pet food and supplys here all the time.

They always have amazing animals and alot of different things.and you cant beat their prices way better then any other pet shop or supply store around el monte

I went here and I asked the owner a question about anything I can give my cat for her fleas and he told me to go to pet co thats behind his shop I always support small businesses but this shop just lost my business, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

If you have a pet, shop here for food and bedding. Or go corporate and give up 40% more for less.

This place was amazing its a small store but the prices are great

A bit unkept, youll find a good selection of animals, beware tho they are sick sometimes, especially the birds, they tend to be injured for example missing feathers with scabs on their heads from injuries, fish are sick sometimes or dead in the tanks being eaten by the others. There is rarely a chance to return an animal. I still get fish here just quarantine them if needed. They also have bunnies, guinea pigs, chameleons, snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, tarantulas, scorpions, occasionally geckos and frogs.

Once i bought a pair of parekets and they lived and now have 10 babies

If they had negative stars I would rate it negative. Yes they have cheap inexpensive animals. However you get what you pay for. My rabbit had intestinal issues. Because it was taken from mother at a very young age. I called to find out if the rest of the rabbits were ok and the owner was very rude. I will never buy anything from them . A little shady for my taste.

I got my male cockatiel from this store for about a week now, and it is perfectly healthy and playful. I dont understand why people are saying bad things about this place when they got their pets and supplies for such a low price.

Have alot of animals that are not expensive at all some animals cost like 20 or 30 dollars

Bought a corn snake for 40 bucks and it died within the next day and when i ask the guy how to take proper care of it he didnt know how i actually had to do my own homework on it got everything i need for the snake and it still died tho waste of money and time i got another corn snake in a shop in la Habra and so far its doing great
