Fun place with outdoor rides and indoor games and food. Kids love this place ️

Half of the acarde machines were down. The redemption ticket levels are ridiculously too high to ever get anything worth what you just spent. It use to be fun coming here, owners clearly dont care for upgrading their place. Recommend you avoid this and go to Dave & Busters instead.

Had some issues but resolved quickly. Thankful for the memories with my family. Would reccomend this as a fun family day experience.

It has been a while since we visited Boomers El Cajon. It was so disappointing to see how run down the golf courses were. They used to be fun to walk through...now they are sadly unkempt.

I remember going here as a kid. Lots of fun memories, seems like theyre losing some of the rides they used to have( bumper water tubes) cough*.... thank god they still have the go carts. Played some miniature golf.still a fun place to visit. They also have batting cages, I used to use allot back when I was in little league. Hopefully this place will still he open when I have kids of my own....god willing

Make sure to go on Groupon and buy the passes for 30 bucks and save 16 dollars per person. Use can use it the same day. Took my 5 year old grandson, he loved the go-carts and Ferris wheel. Not so much the golfing... we did 2 holes and he was done. The games on the inside were reasonable. Spent 20 dollars, and played probably 25 games, and they usually lasted a good 2 minutes each. Best advice.... Go Early! And you wont wait for any rides.

Took my boys to boomers Sunday and they had a blast ... we golfed and we had so much fun... the only thing is the place is so run down .... the turf on the golf course is messed up in a lot of places, bottom line is this place just needs a little tlc but other then that it’s a great place to take the family

We have enjoyed this place for 2 years now! Such a perfect variety for all ages. The employees are very kind. My only complaint is the exhaust smell.

I like it here! The go karts are fun and the miniature golf is too, they added new carpeting and paint to the courses and it looks much better than it used too. The prices are a little bit higher than normal but the bathrooms are clean and so are the water fountains.

The only reason that they get 3 stars is because of a handful of employees who kept their heads and were fantastic with the kids and parents. Joe Alston, Hailey, and Marc were fantastic but Parker and the big guy at the Go Karts were nothing but disrespectful and rude to both parents and kids. Parker was yelling and screaming at a parent who was only trying to give her dehydrated son some water as he had been waiting in line for over an hour at that point.

It is a great place to take family friends and just have a great day I went over and played miniature golf and loved it! They have arcade games and they have go karts and of course miniature golf Plus other stuff there is terrific for the whole family!

Inside or outside, there are plenty of good times to be had with the kids and the adults supervising them. We enjoyed the go carts, batting cages, miniature golf, water wars and the indoor multi-level arcade! We have the annual pass which makes it worth while so once you have gone twice, the price of the passes already paid itself and the rest of the time allows me to enjoy our family time that much more in the arcade...lol!

Love this place has variety of games and rideand always ask if they have deal for the whole year pass.

Boomer is awesome. My son, 4, loves the go-karts and ferris wheel. They have a pretty cool arcade too.

The employees were very friendly and very customer oriented! The food was better than expected, and the arcade machines were fun.

Place is great but very under-staffed and also a poor understanding of peak times and customers. For instance one person was behind the food counter at 5.30pm (dinner time - family place). The person was in charge of orders, drinks, cash register....

Some of their games at the arcade are out of order.. Mini golf is always fun.

Loved seeing my kids big smiles on the go karts, reminded me of when I was a kid. They have all the originals like miniature golf, bumper boats, batting cages and go karts and also a few smaller fair type rides for the little ones. We buy a year around pass that is totally worth the money if you visit more than a couple times a year. They also have a bunch of games that the kids can win tickets on and exchange for toys, a snack bar and a couple items you can buy and refill for popcorn/softdrinks.

We love boomers. Today was our first time going to this location. We normally go to clairemont. Today is Sunday and I felt as though they were understaffed when it came to the go carts. One guy working so he was only letting maybe 5-7 cars race at a time. For it not to be busy we still had a long wait to get on the go carts. We still enjoyed ourselves so Im still giving it 5 stars!

This place would be a 5 star but the mini golf course needs to be all redone

Plenty of games and activities. They have 3 mini golf courses (9 holes). Ate pizza and it was good. Didn’t get 5 stars because the arcade is expensive and the water bumper cars were closed. FYI: they don’t open rides until 3pm certain days.

Love batting cages. 30 min for $20

Great for the kids, that are at least 3. If you have a child under 3, dont come here, they cant go on ANYTHING... not even the half mile per hour train ride that you sit inside. It was a saturday night and we had to wait for attendants to come operate rides, Im talking 10-15 minutes. The go carts were pretty fun though. Our kids, age 6, loved them. Wish there were more outdoor activities here.

Cute mini golf courses. They are just a bit old and very short. If you are looking a longer game than 7 holes, the other location up north has longer games. One of the holes trapped everyones balls. Old equipment needs an update. The young lady who helped was very nice. Brianna had a smile on her face and was a breath of fresh air. Very positive. You guys should hire more people like her !

Great family fun for my grandsons, the staff were fantastic! The miniature (or putt putt) golf course was fun and had a few challenging shots.

My daughter had a great time at get birthday party. They took care of everything and all of the staff were helpful and cheerful. Well definitely do parties here again.

We went on the go carts and played a round of mini golf. The go carts went fine, but our balls kept getting stuck on the cocourseThe pipes were off or clogged so we actually had to retrieve our golf balls and realign pipes to continue playing.

We enjoyed our family time.

The Go-karts were fun until me and my sister and her friends got kicked off for other drivers fault, this made my sister cry because it was her birthday and she couldn’t ride her favorite ride at the park. Rest In Peace granny

Today I decided to go check out boomers at the Santee location since I leave close to the one in San Diego I figured it would be nice to take the kids all the way out there so I did we arrive at 12:20 and first we played golf some of the holes were full of leafs and the ball keep getting stuck then we divided we should take a look at the rides we ask the front desk lady for some one to help us get in to the ferris wheel so she said she would get some one to help us so we waited and waited so I decided to ask one of the guys there and quickly shot me off by saying the rides are closed only the go carts are good till 3pm I was like what they were ppl working there just walking around and coul easy let my kids play + it wasnt busyat all probably 3 or 4 familys in the hole park + the water ride was broken so we ended up paying 20$ for arcade games and drove back to San Diego when I go to the one in Claremont I never have a problem with the rides so I will definitely wont recommend the one in Santee definitely not worth it or just visit during 3pm and forward hopefully someone else wont waste there time and money on that location no wander there was not even 10 customers there including us

Most of the employees are young adults who share the experience of going to Boomers or being at any similar amusement park. The bathrooms are usually clean which is nice. The special price deals for the passes are reasonable.

The place way over charges for everything, almost every attraction is falling apart and none of the staff want to be there.Disneyland level proceed food that takes forever to make but smaller than McDonalds food and of the same quality.Go carts are $10 per person per time, they spey grey smoke on all the people waiting in line and the drivers (that might be unsafe health wise OSHA should get involved). line is about 20 minutes to drive for about 7 minutes, the whole time you are sitting in a cloud of exhaust.mini golf hasnt been maintained since the 90s and it in some places is unsafe.bumper boats are way old and isnt staffed and the pool is never cleaned so its gross.Rock wall, batting changes and small child rides are fine as is the arcade. so if your their for batting practice, an arcade experience or 4 years old parts are ok others are just unsafe.

Way too overpriced for a run down amusement park. Some staff is friendly but some are total jerks. Wouldn’t recommend this place but it’s not god awful.

Food service is very slow. If you want anything, get ready for a long wait. Outdated games and a lot of surfaces are sticky. But the prices are alright. Kids will stay entertained regardless

So when I went to boomers I thought I would have fun. But, I was WRONG! We bought the pass and me and my friends went on the go cart ride. It was pretty fun until we started getting bumped into and people started swerving in front of and into us which made us have to move our car so we wouldn’t get hit. This lead to us getting whistled at from an employee (basically they gave us a strike) WHEN WE DID NOTHING WRONG!! We didn’t bump into anyone and we did not swerve, it was the other people. After it ended the staff came to me and my friends. Not anyone else, only us. She asked us “Do you have season passes?” we said yes and the worker replied with “You may no longer ride the ride because of drifting and bumping into people”. WHEN THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF US WERE SWERVING, BUMPING AND HITTING US. THE WORKER SAW THAT BUT GOT ONLY GOT US TROUBLE. WHICH MAKES NO SENSE!! The worker could’ve at least punished the other people too!! They probably wanted to be skinny queens like us. We also went on the train ride, it was ok until the safety strap unbuckled! I definitely wouldn’t risk it and don’t recommend going on that ride. I wish I could rate boomers half a star. Also to let you guys know you ruined my friends birthday by not letting her go back on the ride BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLES FAULTS. I don’t think I will waste my money there anymore.

I saw mostly kids, no boomers, so not really an honest title.

It is a nice family oriented place. It had a medium size arcade, go carts, minigolf,and rock climbing available. Some of the other things such as the ferris wheel and bumper boats were either not available or we didnt try. It is overall pretty clean and the pricing is decent.

My daughter was there with her father 10/19/19 she had a very bad experience with an employee named (hailey) i believe is her name she went to check her height to see if she was able to go on the go karts by herself since she is 7. This hailey person yelled at her very loud saying cant you see thats the exit you cant go in through that door watch what you are doing and so on at that point my daughter was already crying her dad spoke to the supervisor and he said she has had alot of complaints already. We wont be going back there.

The minigolf was pretty run down and raggedy. Still usable, just nowhere near being up to par. The food is qhat you would expect, expensive, small, and okay at best. I have been to a few boomers and this one is my least favorite.

Cool place for kids. The best deal here is the annual pass. Keep in mind it is good January to December. If you go once or twice it pays for itself, plus you get unlimited go-kart rides!!!! That alone pays for the pass.We like to hit it up mid week after school. Weekends get crowded, especially during the summer.They have a snack bar that serves food.

The good is that they have a season pass for go karting, mini golf, and the kids ride. The bad is that the mini golf courses are short, the go kart track is small (only 5 karts at a time), and the video games are over priced.

It is the best place and best of all are the go karts

Fun place to take the kids to get their energy out. The all day wristband are a blessing for birthday parties and lots of kids.

Kids love this place, so much to do together or you can let them run wild. Safe atmosphere.

Bought the annual pass for my family. But every time we come here it takes forever to get on a ride. I went and talked to the manager and he said the workers hide and thanks for letting him know. An hour later they are all missing again. Don’t think I will buy passes next time. Not to mention it’s all run down.

This place just seems crusty. I dont expect a lot from mini golf, so I wasnt thoroughly disappointed. It seems rundown, a little sketchy, and strangely sticky. Not worth the money, but if it were cheaper I probably wouldnt complain.

It was fun me and my family hade a good time there and we got closer and got to know what we are good at because of some of the activities there

Nothing like when I was young, the outside attractions are expensive. Inside lots of the games were not working. Corporate needs to pay some TLC to this place.

Boomers has been here for years and it shows its age. It has some nice features, mini golf, go carts, bumper boats and even a wall to climb and batting cages! Two of the mini golf courses are pretty beat up but the Egyptian one was nice. Arcade inside had some ok games on the first floor. Golf was 10 bucks each.

I remember when it first opened up in 1993 .. I miss all the arcade games they had up stairs ..

This place is great for kids, but they are understaffed most of the time, and the place is a little run down. I think they should remodel. The upstairs is never utilized except for storage for tables and the only restroom. If they put in laser tag upstairs they might get more people. But can they afford it it’s the question.

Great service good food and a good family place to have fun

Has the potential to be fun, but almost every shooting game we played had defective guns. Took our money but the guns didnt work. Everything felt kind of sticky. Might be fun to play on the bumper cars or the bumper boats, but if you like shooting games I would go somewhere else.

This place is a fun place for the kids. The management, specifically the general manager Brandon, was amazing and went above and beyond when it was not necessary.The only downside I can see is the location could be easier to find and near a better area.

Im 21 and went here with 3 other people my age, and I had so much fun!! This is great for all ages!! I went at like 9pm so it wasnt busy and there werent a lot of kids there. We played minigolf and played in the arcade. They also serve beer which is a plus if youre older.

I visited with my family for mini golf. In general the park was run down and in poor repair. Nothing was outright broken, but the turf was worn and lumpy in places. The obstacles and features were weathered and looked like they hadnt been attended to in a decade. The clubs protective rubber was torn off in places and the balls were very scuffed, discolored and dirty. I dont take my mini golf seriously, but it is frustrating when you miss a putt due to lumps around the whole and other irregularities due to a lack of maintenance vs the way the hole was designed to play. The outdoor area of the park in general wasnt clean and the other attractions were in similar cosmetic condition as the mini golf. Inside was clean and refurbished, but we did spend time in the arcade. It wasnt a bad experience, but not a good one either.
