What a beautiful park! Lovely walking path, lots of grassy areas for yoga or tag, and a great playground. A beautiful and large fountain lends calming audio background, and well-maintained landscaping and sculpture make it so pretty!

First time there. Very nice park. Clean. Nice place to go for a walk. Only negative was the pond was completely covered with moss/algae?? Gross!

Great place for strolling or walking your dog. Lake covered in alge. Really awful.

The largest park in Edwardsville and relatively new. 42 acres of paved walking paths, pavilions, a couple of small ponds, a playground and a dog run. This park will really be something special in 20 something years when all of the trees start to mature. Plenty of space to do just about anything you could want to do in a public park!

I love taking my daughter to Joe glik park,its a beautiful park,very open, great for walking, running, relaxing, i really recommend it.

Its huge and neat clean bathrooms was really unbelievable clean family cabin is closer to rides like the walking track I will recommend to people to go visit

My dog and I had fun walking the park. They had a bowl of water by the water faucet which was nice for her to get a drink.

Big, beautiful park with great playground and lots of space to run around. Several pavilions provide plenty of shade and seating.

I enjoy this park. Not too many people visit, and feels like you have the whole gorgeous park to yourself. Bring some fish/turtle food feed the fish and turtles in the pond.

I loved the walking paths and we had a great time feeding the fish in the pond, but I was a little disappointed by the dog park because there wasnt a lot of grass. It was mostly dirt and sand. Their doggy waste stations were well stocked though, which is always good to see even though I bring my own bags!

A great place to walk but there is only one playground so that was mildly dispointing

This park is spotless and beautiful. Everyone was friendly and had pleasant conversations.I only wish everyone would keep their dogs on leashes. None of the dogs were mean or threatening but I do get a little anxious around dogs I dont know. The owners were very accommodating and calmly introduce d their dogs to me and allowed me to pet and play with them reducing my stress.I was very please with their response when I stated my uneasiness.

Great little park that is quiet, somewhat remote from the main part of town with a nice little dog park, a lake you can fish at, and very nice, clean pavilions. The restrooms are also well kept and clean. The police patrol the area so you can feel safe running and walking your dog. Great place to take the family and dominos delivers to the flag pole.

We visited the dog park here. The path to the park is well maintained and overall a beautiful place! Great areas for plenty of outdoor activities. The fence to the dog park needs repairs, looks like some digging happened in several areas. This dog park would be great for a small or a medium breed dog. It is too small for my husky.

Beautiful little park to take the kiddo and dog. Clean and well taken care of. Big enough to where you can find your own little area to play fetch with the dog off the leash. Also have watering holes for your dog to drink some water. Please pick up after your pups

Beautifully kept park

The park is very nice. Kind of limited on parking. And the reason we went was for the dog park, it was much smaller than expected with most of it in pine trees that we had to duck under. Probably not going to return to it.

Beautiful, clean, and all around nice park for any activity. They have basketball courts, volleyball courts, a dog park, a playground, a lake, and nice great sidewalks wide enough to walk with more than one person next to you. Its on the edge of town, with trees everywhere. If youre looking to escape the city life of Edwardsville for a while, Joe Glik is great!

A pretty sweet park. Sand volleyball courts, dog park, childrens jungle gym, BBQ area and pavilion... 4 stars instead of 5 because the basketball hoops are all setup only for half court.

Very well kept with very low traffic in the area allows for a calming walk. There is also a dog park towards the back.

My dog and I love the paved walking path. Also very convenient to use doggy poo bags when woops, I should have brought a second bag.

Nice dog park, shaded, the people were very nice. I live out of the area and it is a nice spot to stop and let my dog play. Doggie bags are available and there was a water hydrant to get water from.

I love this park. They take great care of it. And have lots of open space.

Nice park. Large sidewalk for walking dogs and kids riding bikes or scooters. Clean and well maintained.

One of the best parks Ive ever been. The walking track is wonderful. Also playground for the kids and a nice place to sit and look at the lake. If youre a walker, this is the place to go!

Awesome little hidden park with a cool dog walking area

Great park...but we were having a picnic and the guys with the lawn mowers showed up. The park was pretty virtually empty except where we were sitting in the Pavilion with the covers. We had two guys literally practically cut grass on top of us. Could have gone and cut grass anywhere else but had to be right where we were!! Very disappointing that these city workers didnt have common sense to cut Elsewhere for a little while while we were trying to eat our lunch. We actually felt that they deliberately did it because they had huge tractors and could have gone anywhere else to cut for a little while!! The park is huge so no excuse for that!

Very nice, clean park with wide sidewalks, lakes, picnic tables and a good playground. Taught all three kids how to ride a bike at this park, and that seems to be a common sight.

Good place to take dogs for a little free time. Sunday’s Les Mafia runs the dog park. Too many people letting their dogs cruise without a leash outside the gated park.

Great park. Lots of open green space. Has a nice lake. We try to bring our dog to the dog park at least once a week, she loves it.

Biggest park in town. Open from dawn to dust. Good for walking dogs and kids. The trail is convenient, but too short for a run.

Great park with a ton of amenities. This park has it all from a dog park to an expanded play ground, sand volleyball, basketball courts, tons of pavilions, and a wide open landscape that is perfect for frisbee, softball, etc.

Its probably the most beautiful park in that exact specific location.

The park itself is lovely, however the offleash area is rather small and disappointing. While very well shaded, it does not allow for free running.
