It was a fantastic experience as always, I love going to the movie theater here, the seats are comfy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

AWESOME customer service! We took our daughter to see “SONIC” the movie; unfortunately she got loud because she was so excited so we left. The manager was very considerate of our situation and generously gave us new tickets plus a few more for the inconvenience. We just want to say thank you to the manager and staff for caring and helping us out!️

Always clean. Friendly. More than just popcorn & candy to choose from. They do have a bar inside, if thats your thing. They have both kiosks & cashiers to purchase you tickets from. Seats ARE assigned. Some theatre rooms have the recliners, some do not, but even those that dont are comfortable. Prices are standard for the area. A very safe & comfortable theatre.

Decent theater, but I definitely been to better AMC theaters than this. The seats are a bit old school as they dont have recliners or lounge chairs in all the rooms. Havent checked out the Dolby cinema yet here so cant vouch for it, if its newer or older. Overall if they update the seats and clean the projector screens it can be a 5 star place

In my experience, AMV Edwardsville is always clean and friendly. I am an A-List member and it has been amazing! Get A-List if you love going to the movies.

Theater was a lot dirtier than I could have ever phathomed especially during this time when there were far from few others within our film.

AMC 12 is the theater I wish all theaters could be like. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, and are fun to chat with. I have never had an issue with a dirty theater before I come in to see anything. My two favorite highlights are the anime showings during special events, and the Dolby theater. I will only watch new showings in that theater now. Leather recliners, huge screen, and pounding speakers. Watching Endgame was definitely an experience.

Just went and saw a movie in IMAX and it was such a great experience. I was able to order my tickets and reserve my seat. When I got there the customer service was fantastic, everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend going here for your movie needs.

Heads up, theyre gonna try and sell you a $9 bucket of popcorn and deny you refills because of covid. At least lower the price.

We were in theater #2 tonight. The chairs are standard chairs, nothing special. The sound and movie were very good. We did not order from the concession stand (who does that? ). But for two adult and one child ticket, I had to take out a small loan! It was nearly $35!!!! Thanks but no thanks. If Im going to pay $12 to just get in, then at least kids my neck! Give me comfortable chairs. But I guess thats how they pay for their A-list program. My wife says they also didnt clean the restrooms during the two hours we were there. Stall was out of toilet paper and the paper towels were overflowing both times within that period. Thanks, but Ill go to the cheap theater in Fairview Heights

Watching a movie with a mask isnt that bad

I always enjoy this theater, especially when seeing a movie in the Dolby theater. Nice staff, good food, great movie experience. Its my go-to movie place.

This place is full featured but so gross. Part of the problem is that the soda and condiments are self serve and right in the walk way. There is no where to set food down to fill a drink so its easy to dump the food/drinks. Its just a mess.

I will never visit an AMC theatre again. Very long wait in ticket line. Ordered my food on debit card with drink only after I was told they no longer had any left. Then waited 26 minutes while watching commercials and trailers which was still playing when I walked out. Good riddance to AMC

Normally, we go to Saint Charles AMC but for Christmas since we were limited on times with kids. Therefore, we went here.... Big mistake! I dont want to bash on here but I am writing Corporate - BUT!! Tyler & Zack ( especially Zack) were OUTSTANDING!!! If it hadnt been for him we would have missed much more of our show... which we were AHEAD of schedule!

Nice place. Too few workers behind the counter to keep food line moving, very slow service. Food was good, theater was average.

Experience is great. Clean theater with helpful people. Great selection of snacks and food. It even had a bar! Prices are on par with other theaters.

Favorite movie theater in the area (and Ive gone to most). AMCs Premiere subscription is well worth the money you spend on it AND has a very good rewards system.As far as this particular theater goes, Ive been to many other theaters and AMCs but none are quite as friendly as this one is.On top of the good customer service and clean facilities this theater also gives you access to a Dolby Cinema. If youve never experienced one Id encourage you to find one playing a movie you might like and go. Its phenomenal.

Really like being able to pick my seats now when I purchase tickets. The food and drinks are good here, and of course a variety of shows and times.

It is the best theater around. Tuesday is only $5.

Nice clean and safe place to go see a movie. The Dolby theater was a bit loud for me and my wife but Im sure younger people will enjoy it

It would probably help if they did not overfill the bags and buckets of popcorn because there was popcorn all over the lobby and hallways.They also need better soundproofing between the theaters because the rumbling from the theater beside us interfered with the movie we were trying to watch.and the theater we were in still had the old styled seats where you were rubbing up against the person beside you, whether or not that was the person that you went to the movie with.

Go on Tuesday for cheaper tickets and snacks. Saw birds of prey Harley quinn in the Dolby theater. Recliners are awesome. In my opinion, Edwardsville keeps their theaters a bit too loud and thats the only reason I knocked off a star.

We enjoy going to AMC to see movies! The staff is always friendly and courteous. The only thing I would say is that not all of the theaters have reclining seats (hint hint ).

They make u pick ur seats at the front counter...that was interesting. So we picked our seats, and when we got into the theater there was a older couple in our seats.we just picked other seats and enjoyed the show.

Love the comfy recliners, my kids and I really like this theater. 4 stars because I believe theaters are way overpriced. $30 for popcorn and soda, come on.

Love the new Dolby Theater! I hope they continue with the upgrades- doesn’t have to be with the Dolby sound system in every theater either. Hello recliners and assigned seating! Can we just get more of those!! It allows you to walk in just in time for the movie and know that you’ve got a great seat!

Problems with kiosk when trying to purchase tickets. Would not take the gift card. Need to make sure the gift cards will work. Took entirely too long to pay for a ticket. Took 15 minutes to try and get the kiosk to work. Ended up having to actually pay for them with a credit card because I couldnt get the gift card to actually work. Also wouldnt take gift card at register when getting popcorn. Had to be manually be entered by cashier. great theater experience if they would get all the Kinks worked out with the kiosks and gift card. A lot of trouble...

Was a fantastic movie but the theatre is always so clean and staff are friendly its worth buying tickets in advance though through the AMC app

Saw The Gentlemen tonight. Great movie but lots of bad language and violence. Surprised by the comedy in it but what a great plot line!

Always nice never give me issues bringing my own drink in because Im a diabetic.

Good video and audio quality. Well maintained theatres, lobby and restrooms. Nice collection of movies. Good location. Food court usually had long queue so plan accordingly.

I dont go the theaters often anymore but I did enjoy seeing the lastest Terminator on the big screen. Clean, comfortable seats and while loud the audio wasnt set to cause permanent hearing loss. Ill be back.

My daughters and I went to see Little Women and were disappointed by the experience. We were in Stadium 1 and the noise from the other movie being shown was ridiculous. There was also continuous knocking from an air vent that took away from the overall experience.

The most filthy theater around. Trash was overflowing in every can, bathrooms were a mess, out of ice on a busy Saturday evening. We used to see movies here regularly, last night we thought we would try again after a year of attending a different theater. Safe to say we wont be back!

Bad news, we waited 29 minutes for them to tell us they could not get the projector to work. Good news, after a refund and a waste of an hour total time, at least we didnt have to sit through the commercials.

Could definitely use a clean up/renovation. Looks original. We took our kids to see lion king and we all loved it.

Rambo was great, not a dull moment. A little to loud good sized crowd, but was able to get smoothly first time pleasant experience.

The original Kerasotes Showplace 12 building.AMC has brought some modernization, IMAX and Dolby theaters. The seats are now numbered in most theaters instead of FCFS.There is a bar (McGuffins) offering libations as well as the usual fare available. All of it is marked up heavily.Bathrooms have not been significantly changed in any way. Water fountains used to be fully functional, now they are neglected (probably in the hopes parents will give up telling the kids not to put their mouth over THE ENTIRE THING!!?! and buy water). So thats lame.Oh and the curtains on either side used to be concessions. Now you get one main concession stand with an overabundance of line clutter.

$11.00 for an adult ticket for a movie? Really? Thats insane when it cost $20.00 for an adult and child to go to the movies and then nearly another $20.00 for a popcorn and soda. Sure, they offer a discount program, but its crazy nonetheless.Now that my rant is over, the movie was good, the seats were comfortable (not leather or reclining or massaging), picture was clear, sound was acceptable, place was clean, and all that jazz. I didnt like the lack of service at the concession counter - they filled up my popcorn but I had to put the buttery topping on it while trying to keep it in the bucket and I had to get my own soda. High prices no service.

Decent theater with Imax and dolby upgraded theaters. The seats in the regular theaters need attention, the cushions on the seat backs are non-existent. I am not a fan of the coke free style machines used for beverages. This just leads to a backup of partons trying to figure out how to use the machines. Seems like having normal soda vending machines would allow people to get to their movies faster.

Nice theater but really wish they showed more Independent films

Sound was blarring before the movie started. Way to many previews. Then the bass noise from another movie was annoying.

Sat in Theater 12, and was not impressed!Granite City Cinema is much much nicer and more comfortable than this place! Not as fancy up front, but way better experience! Great selection of movies, drinks, and snacks!!

Freestyle soda, plenty of bathrooms, great sound clarity in the Imax

It was great! We were in a Dobly theater for frozen 2! I wont spoil but it was great it moveable seats, most lights were off besides the mandatory ones and it made the simple things like water or if the movie had or didnt have food more realistic sometimes realistic in a cartoonly way.

Need to clean the seats better, otherwise I enjoy the theater

I like the theater itself. It is always clean. But the prices have gotten super high. Tickets for a movie during the day for 1 adult and 2 kids was $26. Then we got 2 small flavored popcorns, 1 regular small popcorn and 3 medium drinks and that was $36. That means I spent over $60 for myself and 2 kids to see a 2 hour movie.That seems like way too much to me.

This use to be the premier theater around, but has gone way down hill. Other than the Imax and Dolby, the other theaters havent been updated in years. They stop playing late and early shows as soon as school starts. I thought this was a college town. College kids dont stay up late I guess?

Generally a good movie theater. Unfortunately last film i saw had technically difficulties but got a refund.

Quality of movies is only ok, unless you are seeing dolby digital or IMAX. Theater is constantly a mess and understaffed.

I love the movies and there food.

The bathrooms were dirty and trash cans throughout the theater were overflowing. Our seats were broke down. Hopefully they hire more staff and get new sets soon.Edited to original post:We went back on New Years day and the bathrooms were clean and the trash was not all over.

Called and asked if all seating was replaced with reclining chairs and was told yes. Movie was great but seats were not reclining. Not nice employee whom every you are!

Awesome theater. Great IMAX and RealD 3D theaters. The Dolby and standard viewing screens are great too. Employees are all general good Every time as well. Love the soft pretzel bites and the multi flavors of soda.

Pretty clean movie theater overall, the staff is mostly teenagers probably still in high school just trying to earn their paycheck. Ive been coming here for going on 2 years now and Ive never sensed or experienced an attitude with any of the staff. This is mainly my favorite theater because they have Dolby Cinema, IMAX, and 3D formats available. The Esquire was my favorite theater for nearly 4 years UNTIL I discovered Dolby Cinema. Very expensive(Even with student discount), small bar, seats dont recline all the way up, and when I ordered popcorn it was only filled half way since the bag wasnt opened all the way. If Im paying an arm and leg for popcorn Id expect it to at least be filled properly. I thought AMC was this big great theater franchise?

Theater is nice, but ticket process is extremely slow. Took over 20 minutes to get tickets. So go early or purchase online.

Dolby experience for Joker. The movie was great, and the seating was amazing, as was the sound. But, it literally looked as if there were only two people working the concessions. One of the Coke freestyle machines was out of ice, and the the popcorn was kinda stale.

Clean and close to home. Prices for food and drink are about the same if not more than the tickets them selves.. if you can go to an early showing or join their membership to get a good deal

Really disappointed today. Attended 4:00 showing of Downton Abbey. There was a movie playing next door with LOUD special effects, or whatever, that sometimes made the dialogue hard to hear. And really changed the atmosphere for this movie. You should consider those things when scheduling your theaters.

The price of two adult tickets were more than $35.00 and thats when Netflix came to mind. Ill pass ... Thank You anyway.

Visited the new Dolby Cinema the last move we saw. Excellent !! Seats are comfortable sound and screen quality is excellent.

Saw a movie in Dolby Atmos for the first time..... Most incredible movie experience ever!!!

They have replaced most of the cashiers with machines that don’t accept gift cards. If you are lucky enough to even get a person to wait on you, they go incredibly slow and you’ll be in line forever. The restrooms and theaters are never clean either.

I wish they would update to recliners but other than that its a great place to catch a movie

They forgot to make my pizza that cost $9. I waited 10-15 mins and they called out every other number around mine. Went up to the counter and was told they give it to me in the theater (trailers were starting). After another 10 minutes, I received the worst pizza I have ever had. The taste was unbearable, it had a weird smokey taste in the crust. My boyfriend tried it and couldnt eat it either. I had to just take the lose because I would miss the movie even more if I went back and waited in the long line. Please fix the pizza.

The seats in the theater are literally on top of one another. There’s no room whatsoever. You and the people on each side of you will be touching shoulder to shoulder, whether you like it or not. The theater is packed with loud, obnoxious, and rude teenagers. The place was filthy because of the type of people it attracts. Never going back. Probably acceptable for a younger crowd.

That new Super Dolby in Theater 9 has ultra wide reclining seats, as well as seats that rumble along with the soundtrack! An outstanding experience! Love it!
