I really love visiting here. Great place for picnics, outdoor sports, and just enjoying the scenery. Lots of families with pets. Very relaxing
Parks come in different shapes and sizes and this park is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons: beautiful scenic photo opportunities, a radiant colorful pond, seasonal social events such as movie screenings, fitness boot camps in the summer, and concerts. Best of all is that most if not all of the events are free.Whether you’re coming here for an event, a stroll in the park, or just to get a great photo you are sure to enjoy the park.
Beautiful park with lots of walking and biking trails. Great for family photos. Very clean and public restroom.
Great park to take the kids to. Wonderful trail to walk or run on. The only issue is lack of parking for the baseball games. Other than that it is a great place to go!
Children playing, beautiful trees, trails to walk, pavilions to have a meal with friends and family and a stage for great local entertainment. What else do you need? Oh yes, grills if you want to cookout.
Awesome and clean park multiple covered patios, grills and parks. There is also a beautiful stocked fishing pond with miles of scenic walking trails.
We just love this park. Great for dog walking, everyone for the most part says hello to ya.
Its a really nice park. Im deducting a star because my kid broke his arm there within 10 minutes of his first visit. Coincidence? Probably. Walking trails are great though.
Great setting! Nice walking trails. Needs more trash cans along trail for doggie bag drop-off. Groups meeting in pavilions NEED to check & make sure it is NOT already PAID reserved by others before setting up & taking all the parking (happened to us twice ) & then taking forever to move :(
Needed a walk while travelling in the area. Nice trail to walk. Clean facility. Everyone seemed considerate.
Always great to spend w my 3 small children there is a place for all of them to enjoy.
Been going to Hafer park for decades. Have done photoshoots here before, as well as parties at the pavilions. Well maintained as usual. Will visit again.
Not alot of Maintanance.Great place to escape the Marxist Cops.
Beautiful, clean park. Nice walking trail. Beautiful pond.
I recommend coming with a friend, this is is large and wooded but its a very nice Park. Wish there were some water fountains to fill bottles but its still a very nice place.
It was wonderful to see people out and about at the park. Three birthday parties, people in hammocks, children playing on the swings and fishing in the pond.
Lots of room to play with kiddos while staying distant from other families.
Best park in the Edmond and OKC area. Plenty of trees and a decent walking loop.
Multiple playgrounds made with different age groups in mind. Beautiful walking path through mostly wooded areas of the park and a great pond with lots of ducks and geese. We love this park!
Always clean and nice environment. Thanks for keepin it open and available for ppl to share family and friend precious moments and visits during pandemic.
Such a nice park. Nice walking trails. Great place to enjoy fresh air and exercise.
Amazing place to go longboarding, especially thrilling at night
Nice park - well maintained walking path and grounds. Nice views and terrain. Plenty of shade.
Beautiful place a lot acres to play with your family and spend time
It was a nice place to walk and there are plenty of places for kids to play. I will come again.
Very nice park. The grounds are we kept. Lots of activities for all ages. Great place to spend sometime out of your day.
Very nice, family friendly place. Plenty of play areas for the kids. The pond is very nice as well. It has a lot of geese and ducks there, all begging to be fed. The only downside is that the drinking water fountains were turned off. I understand that it was the middle of winter when I visited but Oklahoma winters can be pretty mild. It was quite warm that day so it would have been nice if they were on.
One of the best parks in the OKC and metro area. Always a beautiful walk on a shaded, paved path. Very clean park. Lovely!
Bang come into this park since I was a kid. The geese are always fun to watch along with the turtles and the playgrounds are relatively spaced so that you are able to enjoy your time here
So nice and peaceful. Just sat in our car and had a snack. Weather was great too!
This place is an AWESOME place to spend a couple of hours or make a day out of it, especially with the kiddos.. My daughter loves it. They have 2 playgrounds, A duck pond with a pavilion that overlooks it with easy access to allow feeding the many hungry ducks.(DONT FORGET TO BRING BREAD OR CRACKERS !!!) The kids will love it.There are clean public restrooms, picnic tables and benches to rest your legs after taking a nice walk on the walking path that wraps around it all. Pet friendly just dont forget your leash. Handicap parking & access to it all.So what are you waiting on ? Put that device down, turn the TV off and come enjoy the park.. We will see you there.
Super nice park. Great play grounds and walking paths,, pond, climbng wall.
The park is always well cared for, and is a great place to relax. We also walk the trail there most days.
Beautiful place for a short or long walk. Wheelchair accessible.
Its not my favorite park but it is my dogs favorite park
Its a great place to rest, relax and enjoy nature, or run, walk and burn a few calories.
Several park areas to enjoy no matter your age.
Great park for a morning or afternoon walk.
I Love this park. Its a little oasis in a very busy area.
Great park... playgrounds, rock climbing wall, ducks, fishing, walk trails, picnic tables, restroom etc.
Been going here since I was a child to watch my parents play live music! Hafer park is one of the best places in OKC for families or just for a stroll!
Excellent park with awesome, well maintained trails. Great place for the whole family to enjoy!!
This is one of my favorite parks and walking trails. I love that it doesn’t have the busy sounds of a road, and has sections that really pull you back into nature. The water element is perfect, and there are many great spots for hammocks to be set up, and to play ultimate frisbee, or simply bring a blanket and books and relax in nature.
Impossible to say enough good things about this park. Ive gone here with friends for years.
Great urban forest. Peaceful and well maintained.
Cool place, lots of stuff for the kids and nice scenery for the adults!
Always a great time at the park with the littles
Love taking my doggie there
I grew up in Edmond, Hafer never disappoints! They just updated the toddler playground so take your babies! Otherwise a very nice park with lots of hills and shade, and trees, which is a must for me! Beautiful tulips all throughout in the spring. Great for pics!
A very nice park! Really enjoy this park and its one of my favorites!
I really like this place
It is a gorgeous place cant wait to go back on my next visit to Oklahoma
Serene and kept up well, this park was a nice change for my walk. It was also nice to have varying rises and drops along the length of the path, while the path surface itself was mostly flat and even (unlike dirt paths at some other places Ive walked).
Hafer is one of the prettiest local parks in Edmond. Their paved walking trail is well maintained in most areas, great playgrounds and a nice catch and release pond where kids can fish. Theres almost always ducks and geese around, and the pavilions are great for parties and gatherings of any kind.
They let us drop our broken limbs off.
Love this park, my dog loves walking around and lots of pokemon go spots
Great playgrounds! The playground for toddlers is not fenced in, which is my only complaint. Theres a parent/baby swing which is a little gimmicky, but fun to try. Very shaded, so great for hot summer days!
A hidden gem in Edmond, excellent family spot and so much mote
Beautiful park large pavillions, volleyball pit and playground
One of our favorite parks in Edmond for the kids. Plenty of shady areas to escape the hot sun.
We used to live in Edmond and loved going there. All three of our kids got to spend lots of time there when they were young. My wive and I walked the path 4 times the night our first kid was born back on 1990.
Had a blast!!! Love playing dominos with friends there. The park is well groomed and policed so safety is not an issue.
This is a really pretty park with a lot to offer all people, in all stages of life. They have several different play areas, large open areas so that people could throw a football etc, beautiful walking trails, a pretty pond with ducks, and occasionally a run in with an interesting character, such as the man that plays the didgeridoo or the man that carries the Macaw in a backpack. They also offer concerts and performances and its conveniently located near me so we visit somewhat often. I enjoy walking the trails in the back areas of the park, but only when Im with other people as I dont feel like its safe alone.
Great for walking. Frequented by dog walkers and jogging moms with strollers. You can feed the ducks and geese here as it has a small pond. Nice playground.
Fun place for kids.
Its clean, well kept. Good to get out side.
Is there really fishing in that blue green pond.lol idk if its worth trying.please let me know
Love walking here.
Great place to bring my grandkids to feed the ducks and squirrels. And then several play areas to have fun in.
Great place to go to spend time eating lunch.
Nice spaces and well kept grounds.
Lovely park, not too many people, great location, feels like youre in the woods but youre literally in the Edmond Suburbs
The best park for parties and birthdays.
It is a nice park but is just a little dirty.
Enjoy family evening walks here! Fun times. Cool fall evenings with other people around to chat with.
Attended a graduation party and the pavillion, was great.
Love the updated play area. Just wish there were some areas of shade to sit in
I love this park. So peaceful. You forget that you are in the city. I love to hang hammocks and just chill. The trees are huge and provide so much shade.
Nice park with lots of trees And play areas for kids.
Nice walking and jogging trails. The pond water is nasty
Hands down one of our favorite parks in Edmond! So much to see and do. My kiddos absolutely love the playground areas.
