Goldfish swim school really knows how to approach working with kids and their parents! Multiple times they have been able to reschedule around our business, or even my student not feeling up to swimming for the day. I cannot say how much I appreciate the patience and professionalism of their staff!

I cant say enough great words about this place. My kid is a special need student and learning to swim is a challenge. All those young coaches at Goldfish loved him and were so incredibly patient. He always had lots of fun at Goldfish. I am so grateful to them. We were sad to leave when we moved away from OK.

We love the Goldfish School. My daughter learned correct form, breathing and is swimming like a goldfish after just 8 lessons. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. The facilities are very clean and they have taken great care to implement great Covid procedures. I would recommend these lessons for anyone who wants their kids to not just be comfortable in the water, but really learn how to swim.

First thing I want to get across is that the facilities are clean and well kept the environment on the other hand is not good. After watching the instructors closely it is very obvious that most of them are unable to even swim 50 meters with good technique. Any Red Cross instructor anywhere else must be able to swim 200 meters with no stopping. If you want your child to learn proper technique by instructors who actually know what they are doing this is not the place. Ownership also does not make this place very welcoming. The owner puts a smile on but does not do anything to make people welcomed. I will definitely not be coming back or recommending this place. They also had workers test positive for Covid and did not inform anyone.

My grandson attended a birthday party at this location and had a great time. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the lifeguards were attentive and aware at all times while the children were in the pool. The pool is indoors and heated. There are showers to wash off prior to and after entering and exiting the pool, plus there is a restroom in the enclosed pool area, so the kids don’t have to travel far. According to the swim school’s brochure, they offer different levels of swim classes from 4 months to 12 years for a cost of $89 to $109 per month, with a $25 annual membership fee for the first child and $20 fee for the second child, with a maximum of $45 for the family. This is a swim school, so fortunately, there is a viewing area where parents can watch their little ones in the comfort of air-conditioning, without being in the humidity of the pool area. They also offer Family Swim, though you may need to call to find when that activity is available. Other amenities offered include family-friendly changing rooms, private bathrooms, a hair-drying station, a swimsuit dryer, a Treasure Island Pro Shop, and a snack shack. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place and will probably go back.

Their website says exactly what they do. They are safe with the children. They give them confidence, but they do NOT teach them to swim. They move them quickly up from one class to another, not really making sure they know how to do the most basic of swim moves. If a child exhibits the smallest of what they are asking, they get a ribbon and move up a level. It’s confidence building, but not swimming. They are below average in TEACHING TO SWIM. If your children have trouble with fear of the water, this is the place for them. If you want them to actually swim, private lessons are best.

My kids have been there for years and now my oldest at 7 is in swim force and an amazing swimmer that knows his strokes. I recently had a couple concerns, nothing major at all and Management went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They do a great job and my kids love it. I would highly recommend starting when they are little and move thru the program

We were very disappointed in this place. Nice facility, clean, and a lot of potential but didn’t cut it for us. The classes are not developmentally appropriate and instructors are not very engaging and child friendly. They teach good skills but not in a fun engaging way. The children are expected to sit on the side of the pool, while each child takes their turn. We attempted to unenroll after the second class and were told we needed to give 30 days notice. In their attempt to make it right, they put us in a private lesson which my son enjoyed more due to having more time in the pool. After a few weeks, we showed up one day and his teacher was not there. We were told that they “thought” we were “done” when we never communicated that to them. As professionals trying to make it right and not lose a customer, we appreciated their effort in making it right but “assuming” we were done with no follow up as to wether we wanted to continue or not was unprofessional. I had a very disappointed child that showed up for swim class and no instructor was there. An email or phone call to check in and see if we wanted to continue would have been appreciated and the professional thing to do after already having a disappointed customer and bad experience. To my knowledge, we were to continue unless I said otherwise and unenrolled him. Sadly, their attempt to keep a customer was working but we will not return due to this experience. We gave it a second chance in hopes of it working out but we’re disappointed in their ability to communicate. I would try elsewhere.

We have been taking our daughter the Goldfish Swim School for a couple of years now. We were only going to do it until she was swimming on her own. But after she reached that point, they started to really work on technique and different strokes. The teachers are all so great and encouraging with the kids. My daughter gets so excited to work towards moving up to the next level and loves going every week!

Everyone is so helpful with Ethan. The first month of transition to the Mini 3 class was rough. But we had a lucky day where Ethan was the only student in his class, and the sub teacher was extraordinary with him! Now he looks forward to swimming from the time he wakes up on Saturday mornings. Were even seeing this confidence in other areas of his life. Thank you so much!

We love that safety is number 1 at Goldfish. They have life guards, deck supervisors and at least one teacher per class and the class sizes are limited to 4 kids. The teachers know when to act more like coaches or when to be more nurturing with the kids. This works out great for my 2 kids who have very different personalities. I also love that there are no locker rooms, all of the bathrooms and changing rooms are for individual families. They think of everything for convenience for parents.

I just want to say Im completely and utterly disgusted with the unprofessionalism of this company. They cancel every time something happens to their precious little pool pump, kids are always throwing up in the pool, or so they say, and then the staff and front office lack transparency to include the details in the sign up paperwork about the cancellation times, # of free lessons you get when you first sign up within a certain period of a given month, and the instructor turnover is horrendous. They let the kids do their own thing in the water when they are supposed to teaching them. What kind of capitalistic enterprise in the name of children are they running here? Going early tomorrow morning to collect my $600 I paid for them to waste my son and my familys time.

First class swim lessons! The facility is clean and kept neat. They make it easy to manage my kids, get them ready for swim lessons and have toys for my non-swimmer to keep him occupied. At first they seemed pricey, but I get my moneys worth. Each of my swimmers experience progress at their own rate. They dont have to wait a set amount of time before having the opportunity to move up in a level. Plus, there make-up policy is super helpful when one of my kiddos is sick. I am grateful for this swim school!

I would have given five stars, but I was annoyed by the fact that some swimming instructors carry out personal conversations in the pool without paying much attention to the kids and that is dangerous and kids can drown easily. I noticed these 2 instructors were having a personal conversation and they were so deep in that conversation I didnt see the instructor teaching with any interest. I do hope management makes sure this wont happen and as a rule no personal conversations between each other when they are teaching. These lessons are not free and I think it is unfair to the kids and the parents when the swimming instructors dont do their job.

I highly recommend investing your money in either private lessons, the Y, or literally anywhere else. Kids get about 4-5 minutes of swim time on average during a lesson. Staff with have frequent personal conversations, taking away even more time from the lesson. They will cancel class times even 20-30 minutes before, often meaning you fight traffic just to arrive and find there is no class. Very little progress made in the months we’ve been attending classes. Many people Ive talked to have quit going and found private lessons not only cheaper but more effective.

My two children have taken swim lessons at Goldfish as well as many other local schools. Their experience and results at the other schools were lukewarm at best. In our experience, the other schools don’t compare to Goldfish. First, the facility at Goldfish is head and shoulders the best we’ve been to ... warm water, clean, bright facility, nicely thought out design, etc. Second and most importantly, our children enjoyed their experience and significantly advanced with their swimming. They finished with swim force and competed some. Both will compete this summer in a city league thanks to Goldfish. I will add that competing in swim is not anything we ever thought of before. However, Goldfish introduced this to our children and it’s been a great experience !

I have a reluctant learner, who has a fear of putting his head in the water. He is in a group lesson, but his instructor has been so patient with him. Gradually, he is getting more comfortable in the pool. The deck supervisor takes times to sit and talk with me about his progress as well. We have tried swim lessons elsewhere and the level of service and individual attention at Goldfish is unmatched.

My kids swam at Goldfish for 2 years as toddler and preschool aged kids prior to moving back to Oklahoma. One child was a reluctant swimmer who took months to just put her head in the water. Her instructor was so patient with her yet pushed her. My other child loved the water and excelled. Both of my kids were swimming by the time we left. Five years later, they started the Goldfish curriculum again here in Edmond. Though they were able to swim, they did not know stroke or proper swim technique, and my daughter still had some water fear. Both of my kids excelled in the upper level classes learning technique. In fact it was my daughter who quickly overcame her fears and was one of the first kids to make it to the Goldfish Swim Force. My kids love the water and have an appreciation for water safety thanks to what they have learned at Goldfish.

Pretty pricey for what you get. The pool is nice but the lessons are short (30m). They only have two small bathrooms to shower in so the area is super crowded after lessons. They only offer three short options for family swim time. All of which are at noon or after 6:30. If you have a toddler they are asleep then. Maybe older kids can benefit more. They also make you pay for an entire month with a 30-day cancellation policy. So basically you have to cancel the same day you sign up if you dont like it. I am giving it 3 stars because the pool is nice and it is warm.

All I can say is WOW!!! I had my 7 year old girls birthday party here, and was completely in awe of how easy they made it for me! 1. We had the entire pool to our party! 2. Everything was provided - cake, decor, paper products, juice, and even goodie bags! 3. A party coordinator was there who ran MY party. She provided the candles, served my guests bottled water, ordered my cupcakes, passed out cupcakes and goodie bags to the kiddos at the party, and was my contact from day 1 of booking (texting included through the whole process!). She even had a surprise beach ball signed by every party guest for my girls as a gift. We left the party with free T-shirts as well! This party was a game changer! I had 3 guests at my party say that they were having their childrens parties there in the coming year because of how fun and easy it appeared! When I say I did nothing for this party, I literally mean, I did NOTHING. I was just told to show up right before 3:30pm...and I did! Goldfish birthday parties are every mothers dream. Best. Birthday. Ever! Thanks for throwing the best party for my twin girls!!

3 minutes and 54 seconds, 3 minutes and 42 seconds....these are examples of the exact amount of time our 3 year old was in the water with an instructor during his 30min lessons. 30 minute lessons with 4 kids and 1 instructor...the most time even possible is 7minutes... And thats being generous if you count the time it takes them to start the lesson and then they come call you in to get your kids at 3 minutes to....it ends up being about 4 minutes out of 25/26min spent in the water. Not worth the $ or time. We didnt even care that it was more expensive than other places we simply cared that there is no possible way for our son to learn anything in 4 scattered minutes a week. So please please dont waste your $ on this place. The facility is nice, instructors were even nice, but the front desk was super unfriendly and it isnt worth any amount of $ or time to have your kids leave just as unsafe in the water as when they arrived. They offer private lessons at the YMCA for the even less per month and weve loved them and our son is thriving in the water now. See

Nice facility and okay classes. However the front staff has no clue what they are doing or how long you wait to talk to them. Upon checking in I was given no directive on what to do or expect. Following the class I went up front to sign up and after waiting between 5-10 minutes with no one else up front and two ladies working I was finally asked if I could be helped. She was unhelpful and could care less about my business. No matter how nice the facility or class is I have no interest in doing business with a company who doesn’t care about their customers

In about a month, Goldfish has really built up my 4- and 6-year old swimmers confidence in the water! The change Ive seen so far is significant! Right off the bat, it takes out the stress of cold water or ambient temp, which allows little swimmers to immediately let go of a lot of nerves and anxiety! The small class size allows each student to watch peers demonstrate skills yet get adequate 1-on-1 time with the instructor. I appreciate that Ms. Maria gives me a recap of their progress each week and tips to help them improve before the next lesson! Also, I of course love being able to watch the entire lesson without my kiddos being nervous or acting weird because Im within earshot. I would recommend Goldfish to anyone looking for swim lessons, especially for those who struggle with confidence in the water!
