Loved it. Had an exhibit bringing rare Bible artifacts to be seen by Oklahomans...Skip the religious reference if you do not believe! The artifacts are still rare examples of very old ancient civilizations. There was no cost or any asking or place where you could put a donation. I did ask ...and gave a small amount and may mail in more money donation. This is rare for an exhibition or museum not to have a place for donations where such significant things are being displayed. This exhibit dealt Seals Isaiah and Hezekiah. It goes til Aug. 19, 2018

The Isaiah and Hezekiah exhibit was incredible. We took a tour with Dee. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions. Would definitely recommend visiting if you get the chance! Concerts and events are also incredible. The lobby offers a one of a kind view in the Edmond area. Attend if you can!

We cant say enough about this breathtaking venue. We did a tour of the exhibit, The Seals of Hezekiah and Isaiah, while we were there for a visit. Our tour guide Ms. Sherry Beezley was super knowledgeable and her excitement about this history was contagious. She answered many questions from the large group. Its amazing how the archeological finds go side by side with the bible and secular history. Everyone should go see this exhibit and also go to the concert series here. Its magnificent!!!

The Venue is smaller than the Civic Center, pr other Downtown Entertainment locations like Cox Convention Center, etcetera. This makes any performance you attend bring you much closer and gives a more intimate experience. The standards are high here and it is managed very well with plenty of staff available to assist you to direct you to find your seat or anything else you need while you are there. They also have a convenient coat/umbrella check. The umbrella check is complimentary and I am unsure if there is any fee for coat check. Just go to the website and call with anuly questions. They are very happy to help. I have attended 2 performances here. I have been exceedingly pleased each time! The first was Swan Lake performed by a Russian Ballet Company. It was so very moving to be so much closer to the dancers than in these huge venues downtown where you need binoculars to see them. The second was the Four Italian Tenors, just a few days ago. The acoustics of the Auditorium were highlighted there. Their voices resonated off of the Cherrywood (I believe they are) walls and you were enveloped by their voices in the space. It was truly incredible. I hope you choose a performance and experience this place for yourself. You will be glad you discovered it too!

My husband I just had the best date that we have had in a long time at Armstrong Auditorium. We saw The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Brought back some wonderful memories. The Auditorium Hanson beautiful crystal chandeliers hanging. Beautiful sculpture out front. Easy access for someone in a walker like me. All of the ushers that are working there we found out our students at the campus. Search a blessing to us to help us find our seats so easily. And to my surprise they brought my Walker to me as soon as the show was over. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for the 2018 / 2019 season.

We have traveled here on several occasions and each time the beauty of this building takes my breath away! You would be hard pressed to find anything out of order. Our most recent visit was for the production Jeremiah a musical and step-dancing extravaganza. Original music by Ryan Malone. The singing, dancing and overall performance was impeccable. Amazing as it may seem the tickets were free! There was no charge to see this outstanding musical! What an amazing experience from start to finish! Absolutely a must see! If you are in the area or not it is worth the time to see this amazing facility and and attend a concert!

Armstrong Auditorium is huge surprise hidden in the outer suburbs. I saw an excellent classical performance by a world class violinist whilst there and was impressed by not only the sort of artists who perform there, but also the acoustic quality and architectural design of the building itself. Truly one of the hidden gems of the state of Oklahoma!

Came here for an exhibit specifically. I came with the intent of taking pictures for my grandmother who asked me to go for her since its about 7 hours away from her and I happen to live about 10 minutes away. I showed up, everything they had for the exhibit could have been fit in a single trailer, it was just sprawled out to make it look larger. Then, I was told that I couldnt take pictures. Ive never been to any kind of museum or public exhibit where I wasnt able to take a picture of something, but it was really frustrating that I drove there for something it took all of 15 minutes to look at, and couldnt even take a picture.

Nothing like it north of the Civic Center, and even compared to that its unique because of its comparatively small size, which means youre close to the stage. I work on campus with members of its staff and have been to a number of concerts there; I can tell you that they are cheerful and eager to please, during and outside of concert nights. Those who know classical-type music, etc. say the artists the auditorium brings in are from at or near the top of their field. As far as nice places to eat that are sort of on the way, Id recommend Signature Grill or Covell Park. Less-expensive places nearby that people like a lot are Teds Escondido and Interurban. If youre in OKC anyway, Id look at Fubelly.
