Ive driven past this park several times but never actually stopped there. Had the perfect opportunity today and both my son and i loved it! He actually had his Frisbees with him and there is a nice did good course there so we did hole. If like to go back and actually play the course, it wasnt super well marked but it seemed people were doing just fine.He also loved the playground. There werent many kids there, and all the adults were practicing good social distancing with some even masked. All in all a great experience and we will def be back!
Conveniently located off Crosstown & France Ave., in Edina. The pickleball courts (which is specifically what I visited for) are well-kept and players include a mix of beginners to pretty good (like 4.0-5.0). Busiest in mornings and late aft/evenings - much easier to walk on and play late mornings through late afternoons. Theres also a nice walking path, tennis courts, an impressive water park (family friendly), picnic area and kids play area. Great place to visit if you live nearby.
Very peaceful and beautiful park. Good to spend time with family and friends. Amazing in fall. Awesome fall colors. Dont forget to get on the pier and watch the ducks. Plenty of picnic spots. Bring a chair and a book for a great time. Lots of walking and biking trails. Lots of playground area for kids. Lot of space to play fetch with your dog. Ample parking. Restrooms are available.
I used to live in Edina & I loved going to my old pool & park w/Family n Friends from 5th grade:1971-1982/1984 then I moved to CT/NY-Got married:1988 w/2 sons then back to Edina MN: 6/2002-Divorce w/1 son & I used to take him to The Edina Pool & he went to Concord Elementary School-Edina MN:Kindergarten then we moved to Plymouth MN & he went Central M.S.-? there & He still went to This pool w/his friends! He loved to go on the water slide n Pirate Ship Glide ? & hangout w/friends! Then he moved to CT w/Dad n Brother & Im trying to move there next year to be closer to my own family-My 2 sons/I love n miss them so much! But, over all This Edina Pool is awesome for kids-Baby pool/Big pool/water slides/Tree House Park/Rosland Park/Watch Fireworks/Concessions/I used to watch swimteams+swim shows-?/hangout w/my friends/picnics/softball etc.,
Only reviewing the disc golf course. Great 9 hole course. Wide open with oak trees to make it a challenge.
Great playground! Soft turf all around the play area and a lot of fun slides and the kids really loved the zip line as well.
Nicely set-up place for picnic, sports (tennis, pickleball courts, a baseball field, a sand volleyball court, disc golf and a fishing pier), playground and swimming pool. However I am never sure about the quality of water and saw people jumping into it (as a dare it or not) or fishing (but throwing the fish back into the water). It would be nice to have an indicator of water quality Indicator of some sort that would be regularly updated near the pier area.
Accessible park that was also a great fit for our toddler to play safely. Well be back next time were in the area!
Very well kept park by the city. Its more of a recreational park than a place to go for a walk. The trails are nice and surrounded by lush greenery, however, the area for walking isnt as big as some of the other city parks. It is however a great option for water recreation as the water park looked pretty good with lots of families visiting on a friday evening. Also, a covered picnic area is there.Theres also a lake rejoining the park with its own walking trail.
Water works closed because of The Red Scare. Otherwise a gorgeous park. Kiddo loved it.
One of the best playgrounds in the city. Really unique kids swings.
Great place to have fun and throw some disc
Nice park. Lots of space picnic tables, playground equipment.
Great park. Nice play ground for the kids.
Great park. Gets busy after 5pm
Really fun disc golf course!
Such and amazing park and full of beautiful hidden treasures. The park has pools of all sorts. A handful of tennis courts for the players. A paved track for baby strollers, Rollerbladers and the walkers and runners. Keep this place clean the way we enter it. A great place for barbecues, football and enjoying birds and nature and her beauty itself.
Excellent park in Edina with lots of spaces to have fun with family and friends.
Its a nice area have to go walking there soon.
Beautiful, well kept park, clean with plenty of picnic tables and playground equipment, with many huge trees and set on a small lake.
The park is a nice place to go for a walk in. Its clean and the grass is clean.
Great beginner course to intermediate level. Park is very kept up and flood layout of holes.
Disc golf course - It means well but it feels very incongruous and incomplete. With a lot more work it could be a nice course though.
A really nice maintained park
Loved it with a lot of space on the weekend!
Great playground, and beautiful space to walk around.
Quick and nice disc golf course here
A variety of activities, playground, disc golf, fishing, water park, tennis. But often crowded and lots of highway noise.
Decent course. Not good for beginners trying to find your way around.
Fun, big play ground
Super-fun disc golf course! The Water Park also located at this location is a great way to spend some fun time with the family. It should re-open the beginning of next years season... Cant wait! :D
Beautiful park, nice trails.
Beet park, by open field, by water park, by a few Frisbee golf things, and by music fun.
Really nice little playground with AstroTurf and places for kids to climb. The double swings are especially fun! Parking is good and its located right next to a lake with a dock
Good for new players, rusty players and most other types of players.
It is a hidden gem, the only downside is the mosquitoes and bugs. Would be nice of the park was sprayed with pesticides prior to occupancy. I like the trees providing shade and the clean restroom. There is a few grills and picnic tables too for use. I really like the padding covering the entire floor of the play set, which makes for a safer and comfortable experience compared to woodchips.
Delicious chicken and good service
Kids love this place
Nice disc golf course for new players.
Edina tax-payer money for the win! Something for everyone. Climbing, swings, slides, mini zip line, sand area for little ones, music player, and a beautiful park. Take the frontage road behind the water park and art center. Sidewalks for walking and running, and picnic facility, too.
Great playground fro children of all age groups. Accessible as well.
Wonderful playground that can absorb a ton of kids and families. Great paved 1.1mi path around e lake. Covered structure with picnic tables and even a couple built in grills for charcoal grilling.
Nice park
Awesome hidden little gem of a park.. convenient location, great playground for little ones, pier style fishing, event style bbq, baseball field, fun frolf course, tennis court, path to stroll around the lake, ..and a very fun water park.. something for everyone.. all day affair!!
Nice disk golf
Great park with lots of activities.
Great park to go to. Swimming pool with slide. Play area by the pond. Fishing docks. And a disc golf course. Park has a little bit of everything for all ages.
Awesome park, my little girl loves!!
Clean and friendly atmosphere. The park is huge and so much to do for a vast variety of ages. My 3 and 10 year old were very please. Oh and also there is a huge water park by the playground as well.
Great place great swings
Was here to walk with a friend (and my dog) and we all had a great time!
Very nice local park with disc golf, picnic facilities, a brand new playground, volleyball courts and even a big outdoor water park. All on the edge of Lake Cornelia. A nice place to bring kids in Edina, or just go for a walk.
Better play area compared to nearby parks.. Good for kids. Baby n parent swing have seen only here..
Very nice course
Relaxed disk golf course with open shots. Nice lake with a path going around it.
Wonderful pickleball courts. Nice spacious and green park.
One of the best swings for kids of all ages. Love it.
Great multi use park, play equip. for kids, Edina pool in on site, there is a nice frisbee golf course as well. You can have everyone together, but lots of different things to do! Try the walking path around the marsh!
The disc golf course is my go-to course for a quick nine holes. Well groomed, not too crowded, and free.
Great spot- not crowded
Beautiful Edina park with a multitude of facilities appealing to all ages - large pool with a pirate ship and water slides, ball fields, wonderful playground, Lake Cornelia and acres of greenery.
Pretty good for kids! Nice and safe
It’s an amazing newer park. Our kids (1 & 4) could play here for days. Great turf lawn with a swing that you can push from one end to the other. There’s also a mini tot sandbox playground. The main play area is a long ramp that angles up to the top with many slides and climbing things you can enter or exit along the way. I wish we lived closer!
Amazing park
Nice disc golf course and a good playground
Beautiful....
Wonderful electronics music machine. Clean park. Of course, its an Edina park.
Fun 9 hole disc course in a beautiful park. Highly recommend.
Running 1.1 mile loop. Small nature walk area. ADA Accessible playground. 9 hole par 3 disc golf course with concrete tees and chain baskets. Average length of hole 275 ft. Moderate difficulty typical score for experienced players is at par.
Excellent pickleball courts, protected by wind screen.
Its nice and bigger play area.
A handicap and sensory friendly park. Has a lot of inclusive equipment for kids with disabilities. Covered picnic area with outlets.
Nice park to bring your kids and play disc golfing
Has a disc golf course
Great playground for young kids. Frisbee golf course was enjoyable for my 7 year old. Tee pads were too small for me though.
Great venue for pickleball players! Courts are really nice and are being used a lot - so come grab a court or find some other people to play with - young, old or anywhere in between. Pickleball: dont knock it until youve tried it!
Great park!
Rosland has a great disc golf course for beginners. Wide open fields so you cant loose you disc. Not many trees compared to other courses. Only downside is the highway is right next to hole 4, and if youre not careful, you can say goodbye to one of your discs.
Its a nice place to take photos for every Minnesota season!
Great park. Artificial turf on the playground set keeps kids and equipment clean. Very nice trail along the lake!
Always love coming here for a picnic.
Nice course. Beautiful park. Poorly marked and no course map or sign make it difficult to follow the first time, but after that, its cake. Open. Big trees make for adequate obstructions. No low bushes makes it highly unlikely youll lose a disc. Low difficulty level. Average hole lengths. Know that the 9 hole course is divided in two. 1 Starts on the West end of the North parking lot. When you finish 5, go around on the West side of the pool to the South end of the park for the final 4 holes. Enjoy!
Great for family friendly fun!
Always a great place to play disc golf.
5 nice pickleball courts
Introduced nine year old nephew to disc golf. Hes hooked. Now he needs more discs...
Great toke spot
Excellent playground for young kids.
Fun disc golf course
Great playground with rubber and Astroturf floor, except the tots area, which is sand. But my 2 year old prefers running up and down the ramps in the big kids area. Handicap accessible equipment with musical toys.
Big park. Lots to do!!
Great playground for all ages. Love the swings where mom and baby can swing! Very inclusive playground.
