Love how friendly they are.
My daughter, Theresa, started coaching with D&A Talent in June. When she auditioned to be a part of their team, they were upfront and honest that they offered coaching services, for a fee, to develop and market her as a talent in the industry, and give her opportunities to audition with national agents on a monthly basis. Connie, Heather, and Scott are a very cohesive team and care about this family they create. Theresa already has callbacks from two national agents, and she is going to LA to be part of the Industry Network team in January 2020, but what caught our eye the most in what D&A offered, was that the classes would build self-confidence. I can definitely say, out of all of what she has gained and accomplished so far, building a 10-year old girls self-confidence who feels like she doesnt fit in and is bullied at school, well, Id pay 10 times over for that.
Zoey started at D&A in January 2019. She had been modeling and even had an agency, but she needed something. I’ve never been in the industry and aside from attending the casting calls and she’s been on and jobs she’s had, I had never been around the industry. Connie and Heather have really upped her game! Since starting at D&A, she has blossomed as a model, booked several amazing jobs, and her poise and confidence have skyrocketed. She loves going to class, seeing her friends, Heather and Connie, and of course, Khloe! And as a parent I have learned so much about how to support her as she follows this path, what to expect, etc. and the knowledge and support of not only the D&A team, but also the other talent and families we’ve met and have made lifelong friends with!Thank you for encouraging us and having a great, fun learning environment!
I really loved acting and I didnt really know where to start training and how to start my acting career. When I found out about D&A talent I immediately picked up the phone and called them to get myself signed up for classes. Their acting classes are so much fun, the coaches are really awesome and super helpful. Even Though D&A talent is not an agency they still have agents that fly in from L.A just to come to D&A talent. D&A talent puts you in front of agents and helps you learn more about acting they are so awesome!! I really recommend taking classes here!
My daughter Sydnie has been with D&A for 9 months. When she first joined she was a very shy girl who barely said anything. She just came back from the IN Network where she won 9 awards including teen star of the year. The amount of confidence she gained at D&A was huge. Connie, Heather, Scott and Rachelle are the best and truly care and want the success for every talent! The knowledge and technique she gained from the classes allowed her to showcase her personality and talent at the IN Network. We love our D&A family! Mollie
Being able to change the lives of 100s of talent in the Twin Cities area has been surreal for D&A talent. Being able to go to the job thank you LOVE makes working not seem like work. Seeing kids and young adults and adults that come and audition for us and once they become part of our D&A family, and being able to see them up on the big screen, starring in TV series, being in commercials, being on Disney and Nickelodeon, and seeing them for fill their dreams this is the most rewarding thing out of all of this ️
My daughter has been a part of D&A for two years. We are pleased with the services D&A has provided. D&A is NOT an agency. What D&A does do is provide opportunities to meet with agencies and managers from both the twin cities and Los Angeles. D&A also provides many different types of classes and workshops. These are unique, very few places in MN provide safe and worthwhile learning options. Connie and Heather have helped open doors for my child. She now has an LA agent and manager and an impressive resume. D&A is definitely worth the investment.
We have been with D&A Talent for two months. My daughter has gained confidence and leadership skills. She loves going to class every week. We have enjoyed working with all the staff, especially Heather, her coach. There have been many opportunities for auditions with local and national agencies. We would strongly recommend D&A Talent.
Whats the age limit for an actor
They offered me a contract. Modeling, acting coach, dancing, singing, casting calls, etc... D&A Talent is an amazing agency etc...
Amazing place and amazing people! I have gained so much confidence and experience. The directors are so educated and do everything they can to help their talent out. Would recommend this place to anyone pursuing acting, modeling, or singing.
Once you understand exactly what it is that D & A does, you will find they are a great resource for anyone interested in acting or talent performances. The people there are top notch, the training is great, they are phenomenal with the talent, and I highly recommend them. So happy to have found them and to have my daughter be part of the family!
D&A Talent has been great to me! They have gotten me many opportunities to meet with agencies, managers, and casting directors. If it wasnt for them I would have never been as far as I am with acting from signing with a managment company to have interest from agencies and casting directors in Low Angeles
I wish I could give negative stars! The woman that called me back was very rude and wouldnt let me get a word in. I asked her if they are a very diverse agency as in different races and she said go to Instagram and hung up on me. Then someone called me back two minutes later and after I asked if you have to pay she said you go through a screening process then they let you know if they want to work with you. I tried to explain to her that I know I made the cut and whats he cost but she refused to tell me. I recommend getting a agent, someone trustworthy and that will work hard not a place that has one or two token races to fit a quota.
Thanks to D & A I have been able to audition and be in both local and national commercials. Their staff helped prepare me through the classes they offer. I was also able to sign with various agencies. Thanks D & A for helping me fulfill my dreams.
My 8 year old daughter has been with d&a for 2 months now taking classes and meeting with agents. She absolutely loves it and seems to be learning a lot. She has already become less shy and more active, and has had a huge improvement is her reading comprehension and ability. For me Regardless if she books a job or not, the experience has been worth it.
This place is the worst Talent agency Ive ever been to I was here for 4 months and they taught me nothing and the Woman who works at the front desk is Very rude And I took a head shot they never gave it to me we spent Thousands of dollars for nothing I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if you want a real talent agency go to John Casablanca Thats a real talent agency
Personal and Professional...their classed have boosted my daughters self confidence and given her an opportunity of a lifetime! I highly recommend this modeling school!
Yesterday I attended an audition at D&A Talent after receiving an invite to attend via telephone. Connie Steckling, the owner and a woman by the name of Heather, led the presentation/auditions. When I came back home, to Madison, WI from the 4 hour drive to Minnesota, I sat down to look over the “mock contract” that Heather handed me to review. On the very LAST page was the description of services offered, along with the request for payment. A 3 month contract for MARKETING services for $425 was offered, that includes claims for auditions with 3 local agents and 3 national agents, a head shot, and 4 workshops. Im looking for an agent, not a marketing company nor was I looking for a service that asked for money from me. D&A Talent didnt reveal the fact that you have to pay, until after you go through their audition process and its never stated to you, you read it in the fine print. I never saw it stated on their website, the rep who called me on the phone to come and audition never stated it, Connie nor Heather stated it during the audition process. I read it on the very last page of the mock contract. If I would have known payment was required and that it was clear that they were not an agency, I would have never wasted my time.Today, I called D&A Talent back to see if I was a “yes”. I spoke to Heather again. When I called, she asked right away how serious I was about this business and with pursuing it. I asked point blank, “Are you offering me a contract?” She had said yes. I then replied with, “Well, Im going to decline your offer because I want an agent, not a marketing company. It was never stated, clearly, what your company does nor was it ever stated that youd require money for your services until I read it in the contract. Im not looking to pay for marketing assistance. An agent gets paid, when you get paid and I want an agent. I decline your offer.” Heather said, “Well if you ever need help in the future with things, you can certainly come back to us.” My response, “I dont need help because I have a lot of experience and I will find an agent the old fashioned way by finding them myself. It may take more work and time, but I can do that. I dont need your services. You should be more upfront about the fact that you charge and that youre not an agency. It would have saved me a lot of time.” She gave a curt” Okay. Thanks” and hung up before I could say anything. To anyone who is interested in pursuing modeling, acting or is a parent of a child who is interested in pursuing the field, beware. D&A Talent is not upfront about what they offer, particularly, that it isnt free, which should be known right away. Any company that leaves such details in fine print, is not upfront about what they do as a business. Be sure to ask questions when dealing with any company that claims to be your ticket to success.
I would like to audition for you!
Weve had a great experience at D & A Talent! My son loves to go to his classes, has learned a lot, and has booked a local agent, gotten several jobs, and gotten great feedback from national managers and agents!
Went here when I was little, I loved it and want to go back !!
Thanks to D&A talent, this is the best experience by far we have had working in the entertainment industry. My daughter sings and has appeared in several local theaters. After she attended the cold read and improvization classes, she has improved greatly, and received a leading role in her school play. They are the greatest talent organization to work with and we have had a very favorable outcome. Our daughter didnt have experience in commercial ads or modeling, and they have provided her with the classes and the proper education needed to be able to improve in her acting and within only 5 months has been selected by a local talent agent and a national talent agent. She is going to LA to audition for casting directors, agents, muisic producers and other industry management. The classes the you take at D&A work wonders for your confidence and allow you to go above and beyond to what you ever thought you would be able to do. You are able to get one on one immediate feedback on what you can improve on and what you can work on in a very friendly setting. There is an honest caring for your childs education and future in the talent business. Thanks D & A Talent
Honestly the worst place ever. I went there, did the audition, got it, signed my contract, paid my money and they NEVER called me like they said they would. D&A is the biggest scam ever. My friend has been there for a year and has spent over $4,000 and she hasnt gotten a single gig. They lied and told her Josh Duhamel and Brenda Song (London Tipton from Suit Life of Zach and Cody) went through their agency. When all honesty, they didnt. So dont go to D&A. Go there if you wanna lose money and get no gigs. Oh and D&A, youll be hearing from my lawyer :)
If a talent agency asks you to pay, then it is a scam. This agency will ask you to do that, so keep in mind that. Also, they are racist
I got called nback and I was very happy but then they told us the price ($2,000) overall im lovin it
Fraud!!!!!!!
Okh
I Went There, & The Next Day They called Me Back . They Wanted Me ! But ... The Problem Was, The Day before They Called Me Back, SThe Woman Said It Was Only 63.00$ . It Came Up To Over 3,000$ . So Sadly, My Mother Refused To pay it So We Had To Leave . I Am 13 Btw.
