A true gem of a family friendly suburban country club. The course is very fun. Challenging but extremely playable.Interesting links style bunkering around the greens at Edina CC. Youve got to be very creative with the short game. Lots of elevation changes driving down into valleys and back up to elevated greens. Had a really enjoyable round of golf out here today.The staff were friendly and amazing. There is a very nice pool area for the kids and a new outdoor dual fireplace patio being built.Highly recommended.

Came to the course to work on my computer and NEVER did I expect to hear the way some of your members were talking after their round in the parking lot. Some of the most racist things Ive ever heard come out of these 50 year olds mouths. Genuinely some of the sickest things Ive heard at a place of the stature of the country club. Seriously disgusting

This is a breakfast club that meets every Wednesday morning. They feature a full breakfast for members along with a guest speaker program. A significant number of the members are ex-military. Good place to start the day if you are professional or retired.

Elegant space for events. The staff is knowlegable and very helpful guiding through the planning.

My favorite private club to play in the cities. Partly because of the fond memories with my father in law and the fact the course is downright GORGEOUS!

Was here for a presentation put on by former Governor Tim Pawlenty. While his presentation was incredible, I noticed a few things about our meal and the grounds themselves.Our meal was sub-standard. Thawed shrimp on bowtie pasta was I would expect a hurried parent to throw together at the end of a long day of work. My dessert was quite good though.The outside walkways were quite treacherous with ice on them and also standing water. I understand we are in Minnesota and we are at the end of winter, but this is a country club in Edina and people expect better.The parking lot seemed incredibly small also for the size of the venue. This place could be incredible if it was run by someone who cared.

Attended a private fundraising function there. Setting old fashioned but well done. Staff attentive and appropriate. Food was tasty but menu a bit strange. Appetizers, 2 kinds of potatoes and a meat carving station (with mushrooms as both a topping and vegetarian alternative) and rolls. The only veggies were on bruschetta and in a dip and the only fruit chocolate dipped strawberries with other 1 bite desserts. No salad or vegetables to be seen.

Went here for a Gala for an organization (fundraiser basically). I was not super impressed, seemed like something out of the 1940s. I gather most of the members here enjoy that type of architecture/interior design

ECC is an awesome club. Low key, unpretentious, excellent golf course and food. Family friendly and an active membership.

I had my wedding here this summer and couldnt be happier. The club is beautiful and timeless. I was most impressed with the venue coordinator, Amy. She had great vision and was really dedicated. She was always available if we had questions. Our guests had a great time and the food is good! I really think everyone at the club went out of their way to make our day great.

Lucky enough to get special invite to play. Fabulous club house facility with a great proshop that is loaded with all the Under Armour gear you could ask for. Course was impeccable: tee boxes flat, perfect, with tee markers all directionally perfect. Greens, fast and true. Fairways perfect.

It seemed first class of course.. Its the Edina Country Club.. Funny thing is why I ended up there. I was in Prior Lake and I asked Google to take me to the closest CenturyLink store. It took me directly to the Edina Country Club.. Funny thing is the people who works there said it happens all the time. Tomorrow I bring to a close my relationship with CenturyLink. What a disaster

The Edina Country Club was the perfect spot for our wedding reception! We loved the country club atmosphere and barely had to do any decorating because its already so beautiful! Amy was our wedding coordinator there and she is amazing at what she does. She made sure everything went as smoothly as possible so we didnt have to worry about anything but enjoying our big day! We cant thank the entire staff at Edina country club enough for making the day so special.

This is a very nice place if youre into that sort of thing. Lovely event center with attentive staff and the grounds are beautifully kept. The location is convenient to the city and the airport.

Beyond disgusted with the way my wedding reception turned out, it was a complete disaster! I searched for months trying to find the perfect venue and fell in love with the space here. If I wouldve known in advance the lack of concern with the management here I wouldve never booked!We got married 7/23/16 and upon arrival to our reception I was told we had NO POWER. After checking into things it turned out the power went out at 11:43 that morning and our guests arrived at about 4:00. Durning that time they took no action to get the venue functioning. They could have simply rented generators but chose to wait on Xcel instead.Upon arrival of our guests it was extremely hot in the country club. We had guests leave before dinner was even served because they were feeling ill due to the heat, it must have been 95-100 degrees in there! We had a guest in a wheel chair that had to get up stairs since there was no elevator functioning. We had no music for the bridal party entrance, something I worked on and picked out myself. During dinner we also had no music due to the power issue. We offered steak and chicken as meal options and had complaints from multiple guests who ordered the steak that it was extremely under cooked and bloody. We originally picked roasted potatoes but got mashed since they simple couldnt make them. We were supposed to be able to take out a golf cart to do pictures which was very important to me and were simple told oh theyre locked up now so we cant.Our reception did not even START until around 7:30 PM and the only reason we even had a reception was because of our parents, photographer, and other guests. Both of our parents left our reception to get fans and generators so we could have a reception. Without them we wouldve never had our first dance and music in general!This is truly disgusting and horrible customer service on Edina Country Clubs part. Your guests should never be responsible to get YOUR venue functioning. We did meet with the GM Bill Chrysler and did receive some money back but no amount of money will ever give me back my wedding day. It was completely ruined simply because they chose to do nothing to correct the problem. I am also still currently awaiting my so called letter of apology that Bill Chrysler said he would be personally writing which at this point I will never see. If they really cared I wouldve had that within a week of our wedding, its now been 6 1/2 weeks.So BEWARE if you book through this venue especially in the summer months. I am sure if the weather wouldve been perfect we probably wouldve had a nice wedding. It just shows that they do not know how to handle anything or correct it if something does go wrong. I was also told that this is a common occurrence so therefore they should have a back up plan, especially if you host weddings!

As a golf course it is about the upper side of average. As an event venue it fails miserably. Food was ok, but like almost every good club venue the location was extremely outdated. Lacked adequate AV equipment for presentation to be held in a room the size of theirs. Additionally weak cell coverage and no wifi left everyone in our group not wanting to return.Will not repeat.
