Staff are always helpful and are knowledgeable about the product offerings.They have a great selection of materials. For example: they carry two different brands of pastel pencils, which allows for a really large color palette.With respect to COVID: I appreciate how well the store is marked for one-way routing to maintain social distance and that the cashiers sanitize the credit card readers and counter between customers.

The Best shop for art materials and equipment, ie: drafting/craft table. Staff the kindest and most helpful for attaining youre needs. Manger Kate was knowledge and wisdom like Fortune 500 CEO.The Egyptians and mother nature come here for creative help.

I went in to blick art materials seeking some advice I have to say I had three people who were very knowledgeable and helping me with my live edge slab project.

I took a $10 screen printing class here. OMgoooooosh, it was great!!! I think I walked out of there with more freebees than the cost of the class. Almost feel guilty.But anyhow, it was a really great two day class, well worth it, and teacher was really good too. 5+ Gold Stars!!!️

I visited during October, which is also called Inktober and is a 30 day art challenge, and they had a table all set up to help introduce people to the event and draw some artist cards. I was already there for some ink supplies so I didnt participate but I thought this was a nice touch! The staff knows where things are and are helpful. It was a busy place and I was still able to get pointed where I needed to go. Their checkout line is also nicely organized to help people get their purchases done.

They usually know their inventory very well. The store is well-stocked and well-lit. Their selection is very comprehensive, where fine art supplies are concerned. They also have a loyalty program with discounts available for students and teachers.

They got everything... Including a life size cutout of Bob Ross. What more could you need? I sure dont know.

Edited: Im changing my review to a 4 star. They have sent an email out and they are now honoring the price. been a long time customer of Blick, but no longer. Placed an order yesterday for some Christmas gifts and got an email back saying they made a pricing error and not honoring it.

Staff is always eager and willing to serve. They are mostly knowledgeable, but willing to ask another employee when they dont know something which is a great trait. Store is generally well stocked and has a nice variety and price range for many supplies. Parking is a nightmare here, especially on evenings and weekends.

This is an enjoyable place for me to buy art supplies. They carry a wide variety of art mediums, papers, canvases, brushes, books, mats, frames, etc. Student level to professional level. Over the years I have found that usually the sales people are good at giving me the help I need. It is definitely a destination store for me. The prices are pretty good too.

Amazing art store! Great selection of markers, paints etc. I personally use copic markers the most in my art, they have a incredible copic display/set up. Also this is the only place I have found that sells various ink. I absolutely would shop here again. The only downside I can think of is that they are a bit more pricey in their markers. At places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby, copics cost about 8.99 while Blick sells them for 9.99. But their deals can bring the price down by a lot!

I love coming to Blicks. They accommodate a variety of art styles and forms. The have great sales go on year round. I happened to pick up a moleskine pocket diary/calendar and sketch pad. Staff here are knowledgeable and friendly.

There are two Blick Art Material stores in Minneapolis, it just depends where Im at for which store I go to. I always get excited when Im going to Blick, I love getting new art supplies! This time when I went I needed about 15 different pencils, when I entered the door I was greeted right away and then I was asked if I could be helped, this was the 1st time for me to go to this store so of course I needed help! The gal that helped me was very helpful she knew her store and where everything was. She brought me right to where my pencils were and then asked me if I needed a basket! Blick is my favorite place to go to get my art supplies and they have wonderful customer service!

I didnt know if all the fun things available at Blicks. They have the regular art supply stuff and so much more. Novelty items and kids items and an oversize printer, oh my. :)

As soon as you walk in, youre pleasantly welcomed and feel acknowledged. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are always willing to help you find things-so dont be shy to ask for help! Thats part of the reason they enjoy working there :) I am an artist and this is my absolute favorite art supply store. They have everything you need or want and even have different services available to customers. With a plethora of supplies and services, this place is the best. They have a free rewards program as well..so if you shop for supplies and such a lot, this really helps..as they send you updated coupons, sales, and you rack up points for a discount. Parking is normally easy to find, but can get sparse during the busy times/weekends since its in a strip mall and has two bigger businesses across the lot. I ALWAYS leave here satisfied with a big smile on my face. Blick really aims to please!

Great store! Top of the line supplies always stocked. If they are out of something they will order for you. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Custom framing available. Parking lot isnt big enough for all the retail and restaurants that are crammed in this area but Dick Blick does have 2 front row spots reserved for customer loading area

I didnt get a chance to explore the store like I wanted to but from what I seen it is an artists dream. The staff I did interact with were helpful and courteous but not well informed on products & prices.

Store person was helpful and friendly even though I came about 10 minutes before the store closed. I got the paint and was out by 8 PM.

It has everything but I was trying to buy some bamboo paint Brush and one of then cost about 175 dollars.

I didnt go in, but it looked okay from the outside.

No one asked if I needed help. There was one cashier for all the people waiting. Pricing labels are hard to find. Oh and they hate citizens protecting themselves as seen in the photos below. I’ll buy online from another vendor instead of experiencing this again.
