Nelson Nature Park

So lush, green & serine! I love this park!It has some nice paved trails through the woods for walking and some mowed, maintained areas for sitting and activities. It also has some covered picnic tables and an outhouse, just in case.

Great little park at the end of my street. People are always friendly and polite. Never had any issues or problems that I am aware of. There is one portapotty. It is clean and always has liners and toilet paper, and hand sanitizer. But last time there was a huge spider next to the seat, that would be my only issue because Im terrified of spiders lol. But it is a nice quiet little park great for picnics or a walk.

Nature in your backyard...I took a drizzly walk through Nelson Nature Park and was reminded how awesome it is to live in the Pacific Northwest! Even if you dont have 4 or 5 hours to drive down to Mt Rainier or over to the Penninsula, you can still get in a great hike away from the city

A great park to go for a walk. It is stroller friendly, you may need bug spray at times. Some times the grass gets overgrown but doesnt stay too bad for too long. There are a couple of good geocache located in this nature park

Small neighborhood park thats perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Great place to go with kids and small dogs. The intertwined paved paths and bridges make for a fun walk about.

I love this park, but its disheartening that they continue to cut down trees. Its called a Nature Park but pretty soon there wont be any nature left.

Good size park. No kids play equipment. Asphalt trails, benches and picnic tables;-) portable restroom and garbage services available.

This is a great park. Never crowded. The people who bring their animals are well behaved.

Nice paved walking paths through the trees. Dogs are allowed. We have seen coyotes there before but its pretty rare.

Quaint naturepark with lots of paved, flat trails. Great for a walk, stroll, scoot or ride with the kids.

Absolutely fantastic theater program have never been disappointed on any of their shows. My girls have been involved in several the Christmas pantos that they do every year and they are always a riot well worth the money.

Quiet and peaceful. Not kept up as much as larger, more pronounced parks. Grass cutting and maintenance type stuff. Its more natural, with a short trail through the woods, nice paved paths and beautiful Bridges over wetland areas.Nice park that isnt busy or crowded.

This is a very quiet scenic park. It has many numbered native plants on the short trail around the park with flyers for the scavenger hunt of guessing the species of trees and shrubs. I love coming here for a calm, relaxing walk to wind down the day or start sometimes. Great place to meditate.

Love coming to this park for a nice relaxing walk around to end my day with a meditation stroll through. Never too many people and hardly any children. If youre looking to unwind and take in some nature Nelson is your place to go.

Nice trails in wooded area. The trail is paved with wooden bridges over wetland areas. Amenities include a portapotty and covered picnic table. Sometimes dogs will be off leash so watch out.

Big area for dogs, love the walk path. Could use a few more benches in the shade though. My dogs love it here.

I love this park, not very big, but its good for strolls. Doesnt have a playground area for kids though.

Nice quiet and decent trails. Certainly unhealthy understory overshadowed with a tranquil native canopy of conifers, Alders, and Cottonwood. Great spot for longboarding.

I didnt visit the park but christmas at my aunt and uncles place down the street was lovely.

You will feel like you are in nature here as the grounds dont appear to be well maintained. Still it is a nice park to get away into for a bit.

Great walk if you live close by, waching the park chang along with the seasons and plant life ect. i have many great memories here:)
