Volume Up Karaoke

The place is clean and the staff is nice. Its a good place to hang out with friends and family if you like yo sing.

We had a blast. Some of us were not sure if they will sing but everyone got into the groove in first hour. We were planning to be there for 2 hours but ended up staying for 3! Lot of memories we made.Facility is pretty basic. A room with two mics, two screens and good speakers. They offered trash bags, perhaps they can offer ice and cups/plates. That would make it 5*.

So much fun, with the peivate rooms u can really let loose, i practically put on a concert for my wife. Ill def be going back

We had a really great time people were friendly and very professional

Great place to bring a bunch of friends over to sing some karaoke. It’s also BYOB so that’s another plus to add onto the list.

This place is amazing... I love this Karaoke always a spot that I go to late night. My favorite part about it are the massive rooms and they have great prices!

Soooo fun ! This place is great for large and small groups. Its BYOB and BYOF its just perfect. The prices are extremely affordable. Cant go wrong with this spot.

My favorite karaoke spot! I have been here several times and have always enjoyed myself with my friends. Great spot that is not costly at all for big groups. I tend have gone there with more than 8 people which was $5/hour $5/person. So for me, I spent $15 for 3 hours just to sing and dance with my friends. You can bring your own foods, and whatever liquor you decide. The rooms are very large and could a lot of people. You get two mics and a book of songs. Their song selects are decent, could be a little more updated.

I was invited to a birthday party and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I love the rooms, theyre private and family oriented. There was even a an abc foam mat inside for the smaller children (brought by the family who threw the party). I also like the variety of music to choose from in their books for you to sing. Though I didnt see Mariah Carey, I must of over looked it. Other than that, you are able to bring food, beer or wine and soft drinks. I recommend this place for any occassion, check it out!

Place is clean and staff is somewhat friendly, due to traffic most of our group was late, tried to push start time forward half-hour only to be told NO as they had another party due in at 10:00. Low and behold when I asked at 9:45 how much for an hour overtime they quickly threw a number at me.. guess the 10:00 cancelled...It is a great spot for a good time with your family and friends. Dont waste your time and money on Pizza from downstairs, horrible. Also, make sure to bring your own glasses as they charge $10.00 for 5 cups, total friggin rip-odf.We did have a good time, lots of laughs.

Great place for karaoke. Lots of space and great staff. Definitely recommend!

Decent place. BYO everything or prepare to payfm for what you need at front

Its a totally fine karaoke place, nothing fancy and it does its job. Its BYOB and their isnt any real food except some chips or noodles you can buy so bring snacks or food. Its affordable so thats a plus. A good place to go to with friends

You will have fun bring your family.. you will have a ball

Been there 2x already. Went recently got New Years Eve. Brought in the New Year there. Its BYOB, no hard liquor. We brought drinks and food. It was about 15 of us. We were in a large room with 2 screens, 2 mics, 2 books to choose songs from. One you search by artist the other by song. There were 2 long tables and seating that goes along the wall. More than enough space to sing and dance. Theres parking and you can purchase water from them. Bring water. You do have to reserve your time and we were allowed to extend our time also.

This place is a hidden gem! Very clean, and fun environment with private karaoke rooms that have a huge song selection. Crazy inexpensive per person, and its BYOB and food. If youre looking for a budget friendly, crowd pleasing good time then look no further! Make a reservation if youre going Friday or Saturday.

Byob, private room and music....what more could equal a great night?

The only downside is if you have anyone under the age of 21, you need a parent even if there’s no alcohol being ordered. Still a fun place to hit up though.

Very disappointed on my last visit to Volume Up. We reserved a room, we were NEVER told it was an international room until we got there. The room was very limited to certain selection of music. The manager had a terrible attitude when we asked to be accommodated or moved to another room. The books were in Mandarin. We could not understand anything in the books. I suggested that every room should have the same system with all music or at least tell people prior to having them book the room.

Great place for groups trying to have fun. Its BYOB food and drink no bottle service charge . Good price per person per hour. No hard liquor though so plan beer wine mixer pre mixed white claw sangria. They got some snacks stuff like ramen and candy bars but nothing crazy big selection. Decent song list. Its a value place so thats what you get when you go. Parking gets full so maybe park on the street going up the hill if its full.

Good place to hang out with a group of friends or family. If you go with a party smaller then 10 the rooms are a bit smaller. Price is definitely fair, but the music selection was a bit limited specially in the Spanish/ Latin genre.

Went for the first time to do karaoke. Really happy that it stayed open till early morning. The song selection is huge, a great variety. I would recommend going in with an idea of what you want to sing so you won’t be like how we were for the first 10 minutes looking up songs. Reasonably priced, great first experience

Great for BYOB and your own food, fun for parties, price is great!

It was very fun and the place is a nice size clean fare price

Good rooms. Clean, well kept furniture. Reasonable prices. Managing the music choices is not practical nor user friendly until you learn how to navigate the remote control.

Awesome location, very clean very friendly! We were able to order pizza and there was a liquor store just below. They also upgraded us to a larger room without having us pay additional! We will be returning and would recommend to everyone!

Staff is friendly! Prices are fair . Its BYOB. The only down fall, no food.. just snacks ! But overall, Ill definitely recommend it.

A great karaoke place. It is in a good location with decent parking. You walk up the stairs into a nice space that is pretty clean and there are many rooms for different group sizes. They have rooms big enough to accommodate 50 people. You pay per person which is nice and they update their song lists every month. The song lists are organized well and they have options to play the music videos in the background of many songs. I think of it as a venue for hosting parties because you can use there space for general parties even if karaoke is just a part of it. It’s BYOB and BYOFood.

Its a great place to have fun loved it

This place is great. Had a blast originally went in for 2 hrs and we ended up paying for 1 more thats how much fun we had. Room was very spacious and clean. Loved that we can bring our own food and drinks. Music selection waa great next time we will be trying and international room my girls want more kpop music. Great time for a great price.

Ive been there over half a dozen times. Friendly staff, good karaoke machines with a good selection. I usually bring snack, drinks, or pizza from nearby.

The room was spacious enough and sound proof. They gave us a good amount of time to be there and a great selection of songs.

This was fun. Rooms are big. People that work there are nice. You can bring your own food and byob. But, everything is in another language. Their remote is tricky to use. Music is not that current. But, you make your own experience and it was a fun time.

Great private rooms setup for karaoke. Can have your own private party with your friends doing your own karaoke. Bring your own food and drinks. Dont forget to celebrate with a cake if its a birthday celebration or any other significant occasion..

Nice place to celebrate your birthday party

Good price . Spacious just need alcohol, but they do allow byob

Really cool spot to hang with friends. Its lots of fun there! You literally can bring drinks and food from outside and have a good time for very decent prices! Will definitely be back soon.

Had such a blast for my moms birthday! We sang the night away! Great vibes here!

Great song selection, was a lot of fun and at a great price. will definitely come back.

If you like singing, you would like this place. Nice environment and the people who work there are very friendly.

We just walked in and were able to get a room for 3 without any issue and extended our stay without a problem either. They now have inspired a new mark of a great karaoke place, which is to have the song The Fox by Ylvis.

Music is a little outdated but a great place. We have been here multiple times and have been on every room. Staff is very attentive

A fun and laid back place to hang with friends and sing your heart.

Super fun, sometimes tough to hit the keys on the song selection remote but amazing place

Private room was very nice with decent song selection. Entire system was based in Korean, so it was a small challenge navigating the menus.

Great place for a party or just to hang out. Its BYOB, wine, beer and champagne only. You can decorate if youre throwing a party. Awesome song selection.

$6/person/hour for my party of 9. Had food delivered directly to our room & its byob. The guy at the front was helpful. We had a blast singing and dancing. You can hear people in the other room. The karaoke systems had some of the latest songs but not enough song options. Overall cheap & easy way to enjoy karaoke with a group

Great place for karaoke. Private rooms, BYOB, outside food allowed, hookah too if youre into that. Music selection isnt spectacular but a good amount of English options. If youre looking for Spanish songs, theres about a page of songs, so some options available. Otherwise a cool place for a night of singing.

We had a great time. I only wish they had more of the songs we were looking for.

The best karaoke place in Jersey that Ive been to so far. Very nice front desk, a lot of private rooms and just a lot of fun. They also got drinks and food if you ever get hungry but its also a BYOB

In that area, much of the selection is in korean. This place has a large selection in english if that is what youre looking for. In addition, you can byo food, booze, snacks etc.

Great karaoke joint. Bring your own alcohol and foods. There is a learning curve to use thr remote, but once you get the hang of it youre good to go.

Byob and great spaces for any amount of people you host. You can also bring your own food. Guarantee privacy from the staff.

Good: Bring your own food and beveragesCould be improved: equipment instructions in Korean and the selection of songs in English was rather limited

Great rooms, huge song selection. Eveything a karaoke place should be.

I had a great time

Not so much service and video audio was breaking up.

Front staff is rude, our group was repeatedly questioned and they insisted on checking our bags. Once we were in the room they continually came in to “check on things”. Music selection is very limited. There is no way to play your own music selection not to mention everything is a different language. It served its purpose but if we felt comfortable, had less interruptions and had a better music selection... we would go to the venue more often.

Great atmosphere, but not the widest selection of English-language songs. Staff members were helpful but not very friendly. BYOB policy was much appreciated by our party

I came here with a few friends after our prom (so thats around 12 AM). The location is a bit shady, especially in the dead of night on a Thursday, but once you get inside, its not so bad. The place was empty except for the room next to us. The guy at the register didnt seem very enthused, but I dont really blame him, considering the hour. When we got into the room, there were no mics, causing us to fail every round we played. The music selection was great, though, considering the wide range of music that my friends and I have.

Great place for karaoke. The song selection is a good mix of old and new, the private rooms are somewhat soundproof (we could hear the people next to us in between songs). Very reasonable prices, and best of all, its BYOB. So roll up with half a liquor cabinet and get ready to sing!

The best place to have a good time with family and friends

Ive been coming here for years. Good pricing, great size rooms, BYOB, amazing song selection in both Korean and English. Friends have been throwing parties here forever. Definitely recommend 10/10

Very fun karaoke place. Bring you own food and drinks. You have your own private room to enjoy with your friends. Good music selection

Cool spot, but nothing memorable in my opinion

Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This is great place for the party. Its clean, big and comfortable. The crews r so kind and the price is reasonable...Awesome!!!!

10/10. I cant sing for beans but I had a great time.

Had a lot of fun doing Karaoke here. Sadly the building likes a little rough. If you have a big party of people beware the remotes for the karaoke machine will become a pain, they need a direct line of sight between the remote and the machine otherwise it doesnt work.

Was nice and private!

Celebrated my bffs bday here, had a good time. Hundreds of songs to choose from. Cool little spot

Needs an upgrade.Watch your step, you might fall on their steps!

Karaoke for a great price and BYOB, how can you top that ?

Place very cool friendly staff

They need better mics

Love this place and would recommend! If you’re ever in the area definitely stop by!

Great place for karaoke! Prices are good, byob and so many good songs to choose from! Their biggest room can hold more than 25 people! Always call ahead to reserve a room.

The machines are from a decade ago. It still goes by a song book. It has the most counter-intuitive system Ive used in a karaoke. It is missing a ton of functions that are common from other systems. The staff didnt spend anytime trying to show us how it worksIf you dont speak Korean, dont bother coming. If you are Korean, you can probably find a better karaoke.

Great place to party for a private bday event. Thats what I came here for and it was fun. Many different selectioms for songs to belt your heart out to.

Just an overall good experience, place was cleanish, staff was friendly, drinks were cheap, song selection was one of the best (most English) of the karaoke places I have been. Cannot wait to go back and have a blast.

This place was a blast. Staff was really nice, place was clean, had a great time abd will definitely do it again

Great place lots of fun

Great place to party and hang out with friends and family. This is my go to whenever me and my friends are looking for something to do.

Very friendly staff. Had a great time there!

Great place, reasonable prices. Once we were there we added on a couple hours with no hassle.

The staff were kind and the place was pleasant. If u wanna just get out the house and act a fool... check it out

Its very nice..enjoyed myself there..they just need to update there music

Good place for karaoke, terrible parking

Great place. Huge karaoke rooms. Music selection could be better. Best part is byob

So much fun but NEEDS SPANISH SONGS to add more diversity

Fun. Not a good enough selection of songs for my taste (Im 53), but it was fun...

It was a nice experience

Fun place, went there for a bday party. Definitely worth it.

Great place but they dont let hookahs in anymore and no more hard liquor zzzzzz

The group I went with made it fun but overall the place is a no. 1) The building was cold (should have been heated since we went in the midst of it snowing) 2) The karaoke choices were really outdated 3) the words that showed for you to sing along with were not accurate. 4) the employees have nasty attitudes like talking to you is causing them agony.

Had a lot of fun here with our own private karaoke room.

Celebrated my friends birthday here. It was great experience lots of great songs on the system rooms are large and completely soundproof and its BYOB.

Good place to have fun with friends and family.

This place is the most fun Ive had in awhile!

Good place to go to for some karaoke fun!!
