Riley Creek Conservation Area

One of my very favorite places to hike. It is so serene here. I particularly enjoy it in summer and fall as it is a fabulous escape into a world that feels so far away from the city. The forest surrounds and you feel hidden away! I highly recommend!

It was a nice walk small hills and pretty in the woods but it was very short. I took one trail and ended up back at my car and I knew it wasn’t as far as I had wanted to walk and was hoping there was a longer trail. So I took a different path and that did the same thing. So taking two different paths, I only did a mile and a half. I would say this would be better if you just wanted a casual walk with your dog or to clear your head.

Loved this walk. Do wish there was more signs with directions and sign with info about the park. It is a lovely walk through woods.

A unique natural park for hikes & enjoying nature in the City. Riley Creek runs through it as well as a planned natural erosion control project coming soon.

Don’t tell anyone how nice this place is or everyone else is going to go there and then it’ll be crowded. And everyone will ruin it.
