Great movie, fresh popcorn comfortable seats.

First not positive theater experience of my life. The theater was obviously not cleaned. Old drink cups still in cup holders. Popcorn all over the floor, and the movie was cut off the edges of the screen so much that the frequent subtitles of the movie were often hard to decipher.

The movie my friend and I saw with her kids was adorable. Picture was great, sound was great as well. Only downfall is that their popcorn, soda, slushies, candy...its all really expensive. Other then that I have no complaints

This has been a favorite movie spot of mine since it originally opened. I must have seen thousands of films here by now. I got a lot of great memories through the years of seeing movies with friends. That day I went with my dad and my best friend to see Jurassic park. Special sneak previews were always fun too. This is also the place where my son saw his first movie ever. The remodel has been a great improvement as well. I took a star off because they removed the marquee by the mall parking entrance. The marquee use to show what movies were showing. That was not only useful, but since I drive by often it was sometimes a reminder of a film I was waiting for.

Great service... Way too many commercials and previews... Our show time was 6:20... It was atleast 645 700 before the movie actually began... Facilities could use an update... Prices are well worth it and they have a great selection of stuff from concession

The quality of this Cinema has unfortunately gone down significantly. You can still enjoy a movie here, but thats achieving the bare minimum. The bathrooms are in sore need of renovation. Its not easy keeping a cinema clean, but it seems to be a real struggle here. And, although its not the fault of the cinema, other movie goers have been horrible behaved in my recent trips here. Ive had much better experiences at other cinemas.

Paid for 4 tickets online. Charged a convenience fee for this. Email said no need to go through box office. Just go to the show and show online tickets to ticket holder.. Get there and we have to go back to the box office and wait in line 10 minutes so tickets can be printed. Not very convenient and no refund for convenience fee. Why pay almost $8 for inconvenience when ickets are about $6 each. Not happy.

It was a little depressing actually. The front cashier station was roped off, the back concession area was closed and it kinda resembled a theater thats on its last legs or closing for good. I would have given fewer stars but the actual theater was very nice and comfortable. The floor was clean and the seats roomy and easily accessible. Ill definitely be going back.

Went to AMC yesterday and suffered sticker shock at the price. My wife and I took our 4 yr old grand daughter to see Abominable, we ordered 3 drinks and a large popcorn. Rate for seats I didnt think was too terrible $7.99 for adults and 5.99 for child, the shock came at the concessions. A large popcorn and 3 cups of soda came to $32.00. Normally we dont give the Grand soda, but they dont offer anything but soda, so she got a soda, the cups were large, 32 ounce I think, so we only gave her a half cup. making a total of $54.00 for an evening at the movies even more painful.. Needles to say I wont be going to the theater again any time soon and if I do it will be a movie tickets only date. They wonder why Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon are doing so well, I guess its because they dont offer any sort of concessions with their movies, their rates are actually affordable with a monthly fee but you can watch as many movies as you want and for concessions you just have to go to the fridge. All these rip off theaters are crying its not fair whats not fair is the way they rip off the public.Wont be going again.

The theatre was very comfy. The sound quality of the movie was great, and we got to watch out movie on the huge screen. Concession prices are a bit high tho.

The theatre was very dirty. The womans bathroom was filthy. The carpet had popcorn everywhere and the ceramic flooring was slippery and greasy. I saw three cleaning staff that were just standing around with a dust pan and broom. I will not be going to that theatre again.

Overall disappointed with this theater. Tickets were reasonably priced but the bathrooms were disgusting. Everything looked extremely rundown. The pretzel bites were the worst ones I’ve ever gotten at a theater before and even the cheese was weird. Wouldn’t recommend this theater and will avoid this theater.

Easy access from both outside the theater and from inside the mall. Perhaps its the chain, but I found the concession stand prices outrageously high in comparison to my local theater.

My seat broke on me in the middle of the movie! I moved my leg and the seat literally dropped. Smells bad and whoever thought a Freestyle Coke machine was a good idea for a movie theater did not think that through. The line to get a beverage was so long.Micon is the theater I like to go too!

This place used to be so nice. Now its totally ghett . Bathroom stalls with no locks. Dirty carpets and walls. Seats with no arm rests or cushions. shame on AMC.

Movie prices are very reasonable compared to other theaters in town. I Love the charm of the old style seats. Concessions are little pricier, however, I like the huge beverage selection and I can get my own refills. Love being able to apply my own butter to the popcorn getting just the right amount! Yu uumm!

This is one of my favorite theaters The Price is Right during the mornings I just which two workers would say have a great day enjoy the movie which mushroom them dont I run a business and every time I talk to someone I tell him to have a good day and thanks for stopping

This movie theater has really gone down hill. The last few times I have been there it has been filthy. The floors were sticky, popcorn and trash everywhere, the place itself smelled musty. Next time I go to a movie I will make sure its at Micon.

We love going to movies, but probably made our last stop at the AMC at Oakwood Mall.The concessions are overpriced compared to the other theatre in town. They do not offer kid sized cups so we had to purchase regular size. They do not have extra popcorn bags to share out of a large so it was hard to share popcorn. They dont offer a military discount as well as we overheard a patron ask at concessions.The bathrooms were dirty. The actual seats in the theatre were not comfortable. Then, the on screen commercials didnt work so we sat in the dark listening 20 minutes prior to movie. Not a great experience at all.

Prices are kind of high. Way too many trailers. Food isn’t very good. Not the best service. Clean bathrooms. Have to walk through the mall to get it. Has a lot of theaters so you can see more things. I would say this is a good place to go if you have friends with low standards and show up fashionably late I don’t mind eating in the food court afterwards.

This theatre has the largest selection of movies in Eau Claire, but thats primarily what it has going for it. Sure, the environment is classic, which is nice, but it is also getting plain old. Many seats are broken and the screens are small compared to other theatres. This theatre is also the most expensive in the area.

Expensive and the popcorn taste stale. The have you put the butter in when they should fill half way with the popcorn then put butter, the fill the rest and add butter again to get it through out the entire popcorn. They are most expensive theater with least comfort. Micon is cheaper with better seats that recline.

Good seats, it wasnt too busy the last time I went here. The sound and visual quality of the movie was good

Staff was friendly and the lines moved quickly. The theater was warm on a cold evening. The screen and sound were great. Could use an update on seats and decor, but otherwise it is a good place to go.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Seats were ok. I prefer being able to put my feet up. Popcorn was ok, expensive. $8 more than last time I went several years ago. Enjoyed the film and no glitches. Ticket price good on a Tuesday.

Took two children to this theater on Tuesday August 13. One side of the concession stand was dirty and litter filled. Prices for concessions was high. Both bathrooms were dirty and the floors were wet everywhere making it a hazard. Ads were playing but there was no picture. Three fourths into the movie the picture went out. Very disappointed and disgusted with the whole experience.

One ticket, one small popcorn, one small pop $31.15. The theater was very stale smelling, the floors sticky and littered and the seats and arm rests in terrible condition. This theater has deteriorated so much. Sad to say its probably on the way out.

Prices on snacks are drinks are really high, seats arent that comfortable and the movie too forever to even start the previews. Could use some friendlier staff also!!!

Older theater with stadium seating. First run movies and decent prices. Just a bummer there isnt recliners.

We saw the Grinch and when our little one decided she was all done, we ended up leaving barely 25 minutes into the movie. There was a gentleman who worked there, maybe a supervisor?, whom I talked about getting back in after dropping get off and he handed me readmit tickets in case we didnt make it back in time before they locked their doors. Awesome customer service!

$8 movie tickets in brand new theaters. Clean & spacious. As in leg room.

Needs updating, and the past few times i have gone the place was dirty. The bathrooms smelled like they hadnt been cleaned in months with a touch of air freshener, seats in the theater are probably older then most of the staff. The movie and sound are awesome though.

John Wick. Great movie, more action than I have seen in a long time and some really funny lines.

We were in one of the small theaters tonight. Small uncomfortable chairs. Ok sound. Very different from the bigger theater down the hall.

This movie theatre lacks all the amenities that makes todays movie theatres tick. Reclining chairs, reservable seats, and stylish lobby are non existent. Dont let the AMC name on it fool you into thinking its a slick theatre. Until this theatre is updated it will continue to disappoint customers and result in the decline of attendance.

Clean, quiet, friendly. Brought my 4 year old daughter who loved it. Seating is comfortable and concessions decent for a movie theater. Love the free refill serve yourself station.

I found the staff friendly and courteous the theatre was clean comfortable and warm. The popcorn was fresh and the coke was the real deal. A visitor to you fair city. Thank you. The movie was great as well. I saw Hacksaw Ridge a true WW11 story of courage and faith.

Loved it, other than the 40 minutes of ads before the movie.

The theater was filthy. Lightbulbs are burned out all over the place and the seats are uncomfortable. When the movie started for several minutes the screen was black while the sound played and one of the other movie goers had to go find an attendant to fix it. The type of movie I saw usually has additional scenes in the credits and when I stayed to watch them I was pressured by the staff to leave. I would only come back to this theater if there was something I absolutely felt I needed to see otherwise I would go to Micon on Mall Drive.

The staff are very nice and keep the place clean, but its an old theater and needs some updates. The seats are adequate, but not super comfortable. The snacks are good (I recommend the pretzel bites!), but are a bit overpriced. The drink machine is awesome for selection, but can have long lines to use.Movie selection is pretty great, a mix of blockbusters and some more artistic titles.

The theaters are always clean. Good competitive prices. Awesome selection of current movies. And decent prices for snacks drinks and concessions.

Went to the 4:00 movie to get matinee price and it was full price because it doesnt actually start before 4:00.

Place hasnt been updated at all since it was carmike. Same old dingey looking bathrooms, same worn down seats, and overpriced concessions. But hey they put in a Coke freestyle machine so theres that. Im guessing that the classic in AMC classic means its just a standard old theater that theyre never going to update. Personally 99 out of 100 times Id rather go to micon 7. Theyre really rolling with the times to keep people in the theaters. But AMC why would AMC update if theyre in a prime location with a ton of foot traffic? Oh well. They show movies so they got that going for them.

Customer service seems like they dont want to be there. Bathrooms smell awful and are dirty. The theater we were in wasnt cleaned from the previous showing. Whole rows were just filled with trash. Will not return.

Nice clean theater. Helpful staff. Consistently flawless projections of first run movies. But, of course, it costs way to much - they all do. Proximity to the malls food court is a plus.If you go to a lot of movies and always buy popcorn, they have a refillable bucket that is a good deal.

Went to watch a movie the other day and everything was dirty everywhere, they have horrible pricing, and at a movie about a hour in half the screen went purple. Would not recommend.

Good theatre but too cold inside

Terrible loyalty program implemented very poorly by management and performed by staff. I have had countless problems with getting credit for the movies I have paid to see here. When I tell them Im a member they typically ask for an email address to identify the account. They usually fumble around a bit (often times call a second person over to assist) before finally saying ok, we got it only to find out later they never did find me (or credit my account with the purchase). Ive learned over time to ask what name shows up after they tell me they got it. More often than not they stammer and then say I guess it didnt work after all...lets try again. Ive talked to management about this (in person and through their web site) and gained no satisfaction. I told them I would not be renewing this membership and that when having the choice Ill watch the movies I want to see elsewhere. Their lack of any response is a clear indication that they could care less.

Staff was friendly, screening was high quality and sound was good. The chairs were all INCREDIBLY squeaky in theater 5, not sure if thats an issue in the other rooms but it was very bad. Every time someone moved even slightly it was a distraction from the movie. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Saw a 7PM Sunday show and the theater was a disaster and not cleaned after the previous show. It looked like a good fight took place. Many of the seats were broken.

Slightly dated theater, but friendly staff. Typical higher priced concessions, just like at any theater. Probably still the best option for going to the movies in at least a 45 mile radius.

Worst theater experience ever last month. And I’ve attended theaters in cosmopolitan cities like Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Milwaukee. I went on an opening night at 7 pm. They were way understaffed. Nobody at the box office and 2 employees at the concessions stand, selling tickets and food and drinks. My theater itself wasn’t jammed packed but a lot of annoying, rude, and chatty people. Not once did any ushers checked the theater. Heard so many people shushing other people. My friend and I had to ask different people around us to be quiet. That’s not my job. No wonder people don’t go to the movies any more. Terrible management and way overpriced. If you must go to the movies, Micon’s a better choice.Update as of 2/22/18I received letter of apology from the assistant manager. She also mailed me extra movie tickets. I appreciated the gesture. Lets hope the next time is better.

This Theater was clean and well lit to find seats initially, staff was kind and helpful with discount information and specials, and other guests were very polite. Best day to go is on 5$ Tuesday! The only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that every time I go something is empty (Butter dispenser needs to be refilled, icees are out of order, my favorite candy is empty, etc.), but thats not a big deal just a little annoying. Otherwise a great theatre!

The Place was a huge mess. Bathrooms were gross popcorn everywhere. Seemed like nobody cleaned it all day. Came at 5:40pm to start the movie and the actual movie started at 6:10pm.

Nice theatre, but seats are really uncomfortable. Great staff, and Avengers Endgame was a great movie!
