If you’re looking to start boating and live anywhere near Lake Oconee, don’t hesitate to join freedom boat club. The ownership team was very responsive and helped me with my reservation coming up from Florida. Jonathan and Chris along with the rest of the dock staff were first rate. These boats are impeccable and you can tell that the staff and ownership takes pride in maintaining a quality fleet. Several of the boats I’ve rented at other locations in Florida needed some TLC. That’s not the case at Lake Oconee. The boats are in great condition. Thank you for helping make a great memory at the lake for me and my family.

We joined the club 2 months ago and couldn’t be happier. Everyone we have met that is associated with this club is super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The choice of vessels is more than we expected and are always in pristine condition. We look forward to many carefree days of boating adventures thanks to those who make this club fun and worry free. Friend had membership at another Freedom Boat Club. We went out on one of Lake Oconees boats while they visited us. They were sitting there watching our every move on a computer and getting the boat to honk at us! Ive been up and down this lake for years and know every inch. That was very frustrating for all of us and startling! Thats what you call customer service??? HA

Freedom boat club is the best. The staff and Marina are excellent. Make your reservation and show up: that’s all you have to do. The boat will be ready and waiting. I prefer a pontoon but there are multiple options including ski boats and fishing boats. It’s great to have a choice in the size of boats depending upon how many people you are entertaining that day. Another great advantage is the reciprocal boating. On vacation in Seattle Washington last year, I was able to reserve a boat and spent the day on the Puget Sound. Life is good with freedom boat club. This location is locally own and operated. The owners are super nice and their staff is always there to help.

My husband and I have found the on-line reservation system easy to navigate through. The many boats available always gives us the opportunity to pick and choose the boat style depending on our needs.The staff is always kind, considerate, and willing to load and unload your personal belongings with out hesitation.The benefits of a seven day system allows us to use the lake to fit our busy life style. We usually enjoy using the pontoon boats as this gives us the flexibility to bring many friends and family out on the lake.

We really enjoy Freedom Boat Club and everything it has to offer. The staff is great and we love having the option of taking out a pontoon one day and ski boat the next. We also really enjoy the reciprocal program that allows us to use boats at other Freedom Boat Clubs all over the country.

Best boating choice we ever made. No worries about cleanup, problems with the boat, maintenance or insurance. We can choose the type boat to take depending on our plans. JJ and his team are great in helping with anything regarding the boat and lake. All the enjoyment without the hassle. Initiation fee is less than an average boat depreciation :) Well run club.

The guys do a great job prepping for us. The boats are always clean. We uduausu arrive with several tubes. They are very accommodating in holding the tube until we want it, blowing it up when we need it and deflating the one we are not using.The staff has been very friendly, polite and helpful .Looking forward to another summer on the lake.

I have been a member of the Freedom Boat Club at Lake Oconee for almost two years and couldnt be happier. What a perfect match for me. There is a wide selection of boats to reserve (deck, ski, pontoon, fishing, etc.) David Leesburg guided me through the features and benefits of membership, then scheduled training for me at no additional expense. A CPA by training I examined the numbers thoroughly and made the decision to join. They are constantly adding new boats to the fleet. I must report I am more than pleased. Also, the deck hands led by JJ are extremely friendly and helpful all of the time. I have no worries when I am cruising on the lake.

The staff was very helpful and able to answer all our questions. First time taking the family out and it was a blast.

David Leesburg and Heather Cantrell are so nice and efficient and eager to please. The boats are immaculate and in perfect operating condition. The marina staff does everything possible to make your boat outing comfortable and pleasant. A++++ to everybody at FBC.

I had owned boats for years and thought that FBC was just for the rich and famous. After comparing the cost of ownership to being a member of FBC, I was pleasantly surprised. Joining was a piece of cake and I have never had a second thought about the decision. The owners and staff are professionals and the boats are maintained to a standard I couldnt achieve with my own boats. If you want to boat on Lake Oconee, FBC is the smart choice.

Our family has loved being a part of the club! It is the main reason we built a rental property at Lake Oconee and now live here full time! Now that we are building on the lake we still plan to use the club and our new jet skis! We have also been out in HHI, Destin, and Lake Lanier! Cant say enough about the club!

We just got back from a vacation at New Smyrna Beach. While we were there we took advantage of the FBCs reciprocal feature and used a beautiful Pontoon boat on the Indian River and spent a wonderful day on the water that included lunch at a great waterside restaurant and an afternoon on an absolutely beautiful, deserted beach at the Ponce inlet. That was about our sixth Florida FBC location (on both coasts) and the boats have been great every time. Weve also used reciprocals in South Carolina, Tennessee and a couple of places here in Georgia (Savannah and Lake Lanier). Very happy every time.P.S. The boats here at Oconee are pretty darned nice too. Heather, Dino and JJ make it a real pleasure the belong to the FBC.
