Trying to hang on to the good old days.May it live long and prosper@
Park has been threw alot. Its no where near its former glory but theyre working on getting it fixed up and the kids had a blast!
Its a great spot to hang out with friends and is a really nice place to go for a walk.
Such a wonderful little rink and perfect for any child who wants to learn to skate! Yes, the floor might not be the greatest, but if I look that good when Im 100 years old, I would really be happy! Kid approved and parent friendly! The best thing is that spectators never have to pay to watch their kids or family skate. Also on their Sunday session from 12 to 2, they have an instructor there giving free skating help! Fantastic!!
I used to go skating at BP way back in the 1970s! So glad to see its open again. If I still lived in the area, I would come out to go skating again
Everybody was so nice, patient and understanding of my special needs child who was nervous about rides. The park is very laid back and a lot of fun!
Great car show at the Park! Lots of history. Nice to see it coming back!
The skating rink was so much fun! We went to a birthday party and it was my sons first time roller skating and he keeps asking to go back. I love that he loves it as much as I do...I used to go roller skating every weekend when I was in MS and HS.
Had my son’s birthday party at the roller rink - such a great experience!! Staff was amazing, my guests all had an awesome time. Love it!!
Great place!!! Roller rink is amazing for a place that’s stood since the early 1900’s, from a review left on here those doors aren’t old dock doors for trucks they have been labeled emergency exits way before I was I born! Thank god they have those four emergency exit doors Incase anything bad we’re to happen at least you could get out.
OH GOD - is the only words for what has happend today...2.5 stars from me...
Roller skating rink is awesome, just like I remembered it from years ago! Park appears to be shaping up nicely for many rides to open this Spring.
The park isnt in full operation yet, although the skate rink is. The park looks like it will be a fun place to go once its up and running. We just had soft ice-cream by the stream and it was very good and relaxing at the same time. We will definitely go back to Bushkill Park.
Wish the rides were open more often
I came to Bushkill park for a birthday party at their roller rink recently. Upon walking into the park you can immediately see the age of the place. There are multiple rides that have been dismantled and are left in piles that are beginning to rust. If it werent for the party-goers, the place wouldve been virtually empty, besides the workers. As far as the roller rink itself, it was ok at best. The floor in rink was uneven in some places, but nothing bad enough to cause someone to trip and fall. There are also big holes in the wall that look like they were originally dock doors for truck deliveries, but they havent been closed up. Theres just a wooden bar across the opening, which a child could easily fall through if they lose control on their skates. Also, the part of the building where there are tables and seats for people who arent skating is quite small. It can be quite difficult for people on skates to get through with people walking by at the same time, which could cause some accidents. Overall the place is not very safe, but its a very old place, which is obvious. The workers are very nice, which helps, but I cant recommend that anyone would choose this place over any other skating rink.
I went here in the late 70s early 80s it was called Magic Valley glad to see this park still exists. Lots of great memories here. Thanks Bushkill Park for keeping this place alive. This was the Red Barron ride we loved going on. I just seen the scene on American Pickers touring Buskill Park it brought even more tears to my eyes. I walked there with my family and my dad has left us to the heavens. Nice to see where I walked with him. I wish the best for Neil to get that park running again. God bless that whole park and Neil too, thank you. The Whip was one of my favorite rides too. Best of luck with restoring everything and get it running again. Maybe one day I can come there again and walk where I walked with my dad again so I can feel his spirit live on. He loved taking us to amusement parks plus we had a summer house in Sunrise Lake on Route 739 about 8 miles from Milford, Pennsylvania.
Always a fun place. When they reopen in the Spring of 2020 it will be cool.
I cant believe this park was on the famous tv show American picker . I definitely would love to come here when they open. Im watching the show now on American pickers
Great place to take the kids remember it just like as a kid
Grandkids love the skating rink they had a good time for 2/1/2 hours
Its getting there, lots of work needed to restore this wonderful little park filled with memories and history. So glad the owner is investing all the time and work to restore this park.
Havent been here in a decade. Held up better than I wouldve thought. The kids had fun.
It will be 5 stars when they finish the other side of the park, lot of fun will be to be there
I give the owner five stars for not giving up.
Drove by, but I know his place is awesome
Nice to see the park skating rink open again.
The haunt was the best haunt we have been through in awhile! And only $5!
Fun place. Clean
5 rides are open. Good for little kids
Worth your time!!!
Just there to eat soft serve ice cream during my bike ride@
Great place for kids, great staff! Will be returning keep up the work on the park!
Finally! Neal Fehnel is gone and the new owners Jeremy Carrington and Sammy Baurkot now have 5 rides running and the grounds look immaculate!! You can see the amount of labor done to this park within the last year .My family and I went there this past weekend for their first big promotion and it went over very very well. Upon talking to some of the staff members especially a man named Chuck, the “DarkRideArtist” artist whom Jeremy has put in place to help lead the park into the future, He mentioned that Jeremy Carrington and Sammy Baurkot have put in a lot of time, love and money into beautifying this park. Unlike past owners they are present and involved in the restoration of this wonderful old historic place. We will be back to visit and support this park on weekends now and to watch the man called the DarkRideArtist finish the most beautiful front ever on america’s oldest fun house! It looks better than it ever has! We will be following them on theme park review. We are especially excited for the return of The haunted pretzel Darkride which Chuck owns and will be erecting after the restoration of the Whip, the Funhouse and the bumper cars. Go Bushkill park!!
Brings back old memories of when I was a kid and got to discuss my memories.
Skating rink is good but the park itself is closed for years after a huge flooding. It would be nice to see them rebuilding the place.
Restomods are cool... taking something old, and making it newer and better. Taking something old and not making basic improvements such as basic repairs, offering air condition, and helmet rentals for roller skates ...I dont get it.
The skating floor had so many divers and grooves, for someone thats unsteady it was definitely throwing me off. Also they played a horrible choice in music for young kids [were talking 8-10 years old and they played kelis-milkshake, lady gaga-love game, and music videos had half naked girls parading around- a little censorship even if older kids requested it would have been awesome]
Bushkill Park is such a wonderful place. It has a cozy feeling that is lost on the giant amusement parks. It may not have all the big rides that you find larger amusement parks but a friendly atmosphere that you just cantvreplicate these days.
Great roller skating in historic rink and amusement park and now a wonderful soft ice cream stand - super friendly people. Thank you!
Beautiful scenic historic location
It was so much fun skating with my family today and brought back so many memories
Had a good time there. Hopefully the can open more there.
A guy with a big dream, hat off to him
The kitchen Ds really. Enjoyed skating there.
Had fun skating there and the private party prices are pretty reasonable
Great place for the kids
People have been trying to get this park up and running for a long long time. My opinion and only mine they are wasting their money!
Love the old park.Ive been taking my daughter skating there almost every Sunday since they opened. They are always doing improvements bringing the place back to life.Like I said the park is old but its like a breath of fresh air..
Mostly a memory of what it used to be. Very sad that its not as bustling and assembled as it used to be.
Fun for the whole family, reasonably priced.
I miss Mabel B Long she was the owner for a very long timme
Great place to having a skating birthday party
The scenes
Loved going here when I was a kid & growing up, when I lived in Jersey. Went there again, in 2002, still great then.
Had my sons 14th birthday party at the roller rink. He had a blast

I remember a story about an entire family being decapitated on the Wild Mouse ride years ago.
Nice place but still needs some more work to be done...
