The facility is clean and roomy and everyone is so friendly and excited to see the wonderful shows that this theater puts on for the public. The theater is smaller, so no matter where you sit, you have a great view of the stage! Love it and will be returning soon.

Went to a show on a Friday night. Staff was very nice and greeted us. One staff volunteer, June M., was very helpful while checking me in. She went out of her way to help me! There are no bad seats at the WC and the sound is amazing, too. No issues at all. It was a nice night out :)

We are blessed in Lansing to have such an amazing place to enjoy world class performances and artists! The new seats are awesome, much wider and more comfortable. The acoustics arent bad.We enjoy several Broadway plays each year, and are never disappointed. The gift shop here is also very good, with many eclectic I and a nice selection of Charley Harper items.Worthy of your time if youre in Lansing!

Weve been to many shows here and have never been disappointed! Everyone is so professional and the layout is spacious! We usually go with the restricted view tickets towards the front of the auditorium to save a little cash and have never had problems seeing anything. The seats are actually fairly comfortable too. For Broadway and beyond in Michigan, go with the Wharton Center!

Great facility. Parking is convenient once you are in the structure. One thing to note - be very very early for busy shows. It was upsetting to arrive over 30 min early but not be able to park right away because there were only 2 attendants taking money and it was slow. I had to RUN to get into the show on time. Once inside I did alert the staff that there was still a huge line to get into the structure because they have a strict curtain time. They even started the show and closed the doors before people in the lobby could get in - handicap people that had to wait on elevators.

I absolutely love the WhartonI have been attending with regularity for the last 15-20 years. In the last few years I have become a subscriber and I still think its one of the best places to go. Tickets everywhere in theater are more than they were but so is the cost of presenting top of the line entertainment. I am looking forward to a great 2019-20 season. Go green- go white, go wharton!!!

Great venue, just the right size. There is not a bad seat in the house. The staff is very friendly, everyone of them. The concession offerings are more than a usually venue of its kind and you can take stacks and water to your seat. Parking is easy. It did not take long at all to get on the road after a sold out show. Parking was cash only the night I was there so be prepared. I will definitely be back.

Always a great place to see shows at. They always have parking very well run. It is $10 if you use event parking at the parking garage located by the Wharton Center. There really arent any bad seats. The stage is very large and it is quite easy to see everything that is going on no matter where your seat is.There are always long lines to the restrooms during intermission. Even the mens room. Just go before the show.Very easy to get tickets. Just check the website or go to the box office.

We have had season tickets for 15 + years. The performances have been excellent thus far. We were extremely disappointed in the musical Miss Saigon. Much of the singing seemed like yelling and very difficult to understand the words. It seemed like the group presenting the musical was a B group and not the main group. Perhaps I am wrong but it sure seemed like it. Also there was about a 45 minute delay due to technical difficulties. We thought with the delay that they would not have the intermission. They still had the intermission which meant the musical would end late. We left as did many others. Disappointing evening.

Wonderful theater, great staff. The setup is simple, easy to get around and get to your seat. A very nice venue. I like the fact that tha parking ramp was directly attached to the building so that one did not have to experience the elements. It just appeared that sound was quite muffled and garbled by the time it reached my ears. Im not sure if the fact that we had seats in row V had anything to do with it or not. Other than that a great facility.

Miss Saigon: hard to follow the words when actors were singing (which is mostly all the time), sounds swallowed by stage. Actors, orchestra, sets and storyline very compelling. I would have ranked higher if I could tell what words the cast was singing...and it was a sound issue, I could tell they were trying to project and use good diction. It shouldnt matter where one sits in the house!

The Wharton center was wonderful, my husband and I bought lion king tickets and then we ended up having to miss the original show we were gonna go to because I’m going through cancer treatments, and ended up in the hospital on the day we were supposed to go, so we called and they were willing to switch our tickets to a different day and time and they gave us car side pick up, they picked me up from my car and took me and my husband to our seats which were very good seats, and seated us early and at intermission took me to the bathroom and the souvenir stand and then back to our seats before intermission was over and then took us back to our car when it was time to leave.I’m very happy with the treatments got and will definitely be telling everyone how wonderful and accommodating they are and I will definitely be willing to go back there again for another show when/if there’s something I’m interested in seeing.Overall very happy with my service and treatment Wharton center couldn’t have done a better job!And the show was so amazing so much to look at and such amazing talent!

I have seen several shows at the Wharton Center. Hamilton was the latest. This time we were a bit farther back in row V and the sound was terrible. I was familiar with the soundtrack, but my friend was not and although she got the gist of the show it would have been nice to hear the songs clearly. Everything sounded muffled. We paid a lot of money to see a show we couldn’t hear clearly. A big disappointment.

My family has been here a few times, and they are great. This past time we went they were all extremely accommodating of a recent injury of a family member using a wheelchair/walker. They changed a couple of our seats after we’d booked quite a while ago to be as accommodating as they could be with the injury and make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. They even let us in early to be seated to give us extra time. Thank you so much, Wharton Center! You gave us a great family memory.
