My daughter loved having her birthday party there. The host was amazing, and the food was great...compared to others, this was the cleanest most workable (meaning no broken games) that I have ever been in.
The girls had so much fun. The pizza was very good. Due to COVID, there wasn’t too many people there, but the staff was cleaning everything regularly & thoroughly!
My kids and I always have the best time! Great games for the kids and even better food for all of us.
Great Family fun, very happy they re-opened for phase 3.
GREAT pizza, possibly the best regular cheese pizza in Durham County, surprisingly... And only $5!!! They make the dough fresh every day (unlike chain pizzerias) with a touch of garlic salt, and its not greasy! Love it! Highly recommend!
Classic. The pizza is actually better! Last time I was at CEC was 10 years ago!
Always a good place for a kids birthday party
My two nephews had blast at Chuck-E-Cheese as did my husband and I playing games and competing against one another. My husband and I played ski ball many times to see who could get the most tickets, but the kids got the most overall. Pizza and salad bar was really good too. We will be back for sure!!
Honestly it was a little dirty but maybe it was a busy day for them. My kids enjoyed it so that is what matters
Tried their take out special on pizza and wings. Everything was hot and fresh.
Cool place for kids and adults. I was having an issue with an online coupon and both Victor and Bryan helped make it right and helped put smiles on my kids faces. They really enjoyed themselves.
Took my nephews here today for one of their birthdays. Had a great time. Pizza was good and salad bar was great also. Games were fun and we had great service. The kids loved it!
I’ve been to this place a handful of times and it was not what I expected. The last time I went I could tell they were under new management. The food was good, the place was clean, they were on top of keeping tickets in the arcade game’s, the employees were helpful and you can tell they have a completely different crowd of folks that are coming now. This was the best change they could have made because it was a dump before.
I like that they following covid 19 regulations
The unlimited play for a certain amount of paid time is genius! I do think the ticket price for items has been cranked up though but its still fun for the whole family
Great clean place for the whole family to have fun and eat at a great price. My kids loved it we are usually there for hours and we go here all the time! Also a very safe place for you to feel comfortable with your kids running around if they get out of site, they check all hands before leaving to make sure no-one is trying to take someones children. Its great to know that you and your kids are safe to relax and have a great time!
Pizza was very good. Only one person taking orders so was very slow process. Should have a better system so other adult guests cant automatically add to the persons tab. Restaurant needs to check with parents footing the bill as the dont have a unlimited funds.
I am only giving 4 stars mainly due to a certain employee working that day who made my kids experience a BLAST! I would probably have rated lower due to this location wasnt as big as others we have been to and it was really disappointing how dirty it was. The tables...games...floor...being a mom thats hard when you have little ones closer to the floor. Maybe Im more of a concerned person with the cleanliness standards I personally have but I think they can do better in those areas.
The unlimited plays for a time pass is great for the kids. They eat some dinner and go off and play constantly and it is all pretty affordable, especially compared to places like Dave and busters and I think much more fun, even for older kids.
The worst Chucky Cheese I’ve ever been to. They charge all that money and provide the absolutely worst service. First off, the place is much too small. It’s has dated games (many not in working order). The variety of games is pathetic. Each ticket counting machine were ALL full at the same time. Patrons had to wait 30 minutes or more for someone to empty them. It ended up being 6 or more people waiting on line at each ticket counting machine when people had bags and bags of tickets to redeem. Evidently there was no manager or the manager was not doing his or her job to see that business ran smoothly. They just need to rebuild and upgrade that place and hire people who will be more customer satisfaction conscience. I should have gone to Chucky Cheese in Raleigh!!!!
This place has upgraded a lot... The food was great! Needs more work on customer service especially when exchanging tickets for prizes... The ticket machine needs to be updated kept breaking down... Jayla was my childs party host she is very helpful and pleasant...
Associates were amazing and patient with the kids. Great place but do need more space for more games.
We had a great time!!!! Did not eat. Just played games. It was crowded, but everyone was having a good time, even the parents.
My son first visit at 3 years old was amazing. We both had so much fun. The staff was nice. The food was good. The store was clean. I felt safe. I think we found ournew favorite place.
Updated games, pizza and beer. Games are so cheap compared to Frankie’s. With most of the games costing 1 point each, it was easy to play them all without spending a fortune. My only complaint is the outside of the building could use an update and I wish those creepy mechanical animals would just disappear lol!! Also, going on a weekday pays off. Only 3 other families plus mine were there.
Always a great experience, me and my family always leave happier than when weve arrived. We were a little disappointed their buffet meals are no longer an option, however; still a great place with great games & food!
Fun place to take kids for a family night out, and let them get out some energy, playing games, enjoying pizza.
Had a great party for my daughter however they definitely do repurpose the pizza.
Service - Quick game attendants are on it when called to check on the tickets for the machines.Venue - Clean place, everything was up to date, no broken games (unbelievable). I bit on the smaller size compared to S.Cal but good size and kids still have fun.Parking - Plenty of parking outside.Location - A bit harder to find because of all the construction going on around.Prices - Seems fair and universal for all the locations in the U.S.Overall amazing job theyre doing here vs. The California Chuck E Cheese locations.
Great kids place. Friendly staff, really helpful. Will be back.
Best to make a party. So much fun for the kids
Im eating under the hopes you know Chuck e cheese is not the world class food location. You arent getting the best pizza/salad/whatever you ever tasted. With this said I loved .y visit. They were so nice. The prices were great. My kids had a blast. I really felt this was best Chuck e cheese Ive been to service wise. Staff was amazing
I like the new time card instead of tokens. The salad bar is actually pretty good. The pizza is tasteless as usual at all chuckecheeses. Thats to be expected. The important thing is my kids had fun and I walked out with part of my wallet intact.
UncleanDirtyAlot of adults with out children hogging the gamePlayed several game and there were no ticketsOld carpetUnorganizdWe will not come backThe manager was unhelpful. Told him machine had no ticket. Said he will sent some one and never did
Cool place, one of the best pizza places in Durham. Expensive $21 for a large pepperoni
I took my son here for his 8th birthday, i let him run around and he was enjoying his time until the chuck e. cheese mascot came out and started STOMPING on the kids who were playing, one of the kids got slapped and then forced to eat some expired chuck e. cheese pizza by the mascot the area is nice just the mascot is really terrible whoever was working as it
Children really enjoyed themselves, I love the plan you pay$20 to play every thing for 60 minutes theres cheaper plans to.
My kids love it here. Most of thr games worked, but not all.
Service isnt the best. Kids love it. We tested the stamp method they use. Its not a real thing. My son goes in with my family. I come in later. I dont get a stamp. They leave. Then I go out with him no problem. Watch your child no security measures here. Just a front
My daughter loved the new attractions this time. The staff was helpful and everyone seemed to be having a good day here.
My kids love it here and now you can pay by the time its even better
Fun! Especially because it wasnt too busy.
Fun and exciting for children of varying ages.
Food is crazy expensive and ...well the kids had fun. Its Chuck E Cheese so....it is what it is.
TLDR; Dont even bother going when it is busy, but when it isnt it can be a pretty good one-stop for a fun time and food in a toddler-friendly environment. As a kid, you probably remember things a lot differently than you do as an adult. That said, although our kids always enjoy their time, as an adult it isnt nearly as fun. Tips for the best value: join the e-mail club for coupons, deciding on points v. time for the cards is a function of how busy it is (busy means wait times between games so points are better). The pizza is actually good for what it is, but Id steer clear of the salad bar unless youre just really craving a salad.Restroom cleanliness is hit or miss depending on how busy it is. After our last visit when it was busy well turn around if we see it like that again. There were no tables (or they hadnt been cleaned or were reserved for birthdays), and the crowd of people made movement in the games difficult with a toddler who could maneuver through legs). The kids like to go, and it is an easy and relatively safe place for some quick fun. The staff are always very helpful and very nice, but they can be pretty easily outnumbered and overwhelmed during busy times.
Great atmosphere employees needs smile more n off cell... n food not timely matter n ask even with numbers on table didnt deliver timely after 45mins...
Terrible absolutely terrible. I will never have a birthday party here at this location because the staff is not customer oriented nor does chuck e like his job. I visited the Raleigh and Fayetteville locations and their facilities were much better and pleasant to visit. We’re not gonna talk about the prices of the food.
Machines for the tickects kept braking down other than thatok
My daughter had her 3rd birthday here and it was great! We went on a Monday so there wasnt many people and we had so much fun!! It was a good time
Great staff, ridiculously crowded, but my sons bday went off without a hitch.
The place was awesome, just as cool when I was a kid, the only reason it get four stars is because it has games that should not be there, they do not need shooting games at Chucky cheese. Pizza still smell and looks amazing but I did not get to try. All that said my son loves it and is ready to go back
You need to move this Chuck E Cheese & find so better employees. Someone was allowed to use a receipt I dropped after paying for 120 mins to cancel my kids play card & get another reissued to them. When my card wasnt working I came to get another and the employee made it seem as if I had picked up a random card to get free time...basically the thief. Luckily the employee that rang up the person that scammed us remembered that she had not purchased the 120 mins only 60 mins. So I was able to use the managers card to finish the kids time. I dont remember the employees name but she couldve handled the situation alot better or just got the manager bc she couldnt handle the situation. I will not be visiting there again!
Great spot for arcade games for kids. I just learned you can do unlimited play for a flat rate. That is pretty cool.
I haven’t been to a Chuck E Cheese in at least 20 years until recently. I was skeptical as back in the day they weren’t that great but they’ve overhauled their company, brought in some quality games and made it affordable for everyone. We brought our one and five year old and had a great time for under $20. 4 stars because they used some type of invisible ink stamp on your arm upon entry. Seems excessive and unnecessary
Excellent space for the little ones.
My Granddaughter love to go to play all the games and get a lot tickets.
It was ok had allot of fun
Salad bar was very fresh with a good variety and the pizza was surprisingly good. Kids had a blast as always.
Surprisingly, I had a good time here! Cleaner than expected, the pizza was actually on par with other mainstream pizza places (taste like dominos thin crust pepperoni), and my kids had an enjoyable time. I think Ill plan on coming back.
The girls had a great time and the staff was very nice
Too crowded hard to move around. Sanitation of games needed since so many touch game controls
Seating in the party area is very tight! The staff did ok assisting us through out the Birthday party. Pizza was good as always! Ive been to this location a few times its always busy and shoulder to shoulder crowd but overall no major complaints.
The place was ran by children and it didnt seem like the workers cared at all. On top of that I came in separate from my family and the young girl that stamps your hand to make sure you leave with the right kid didnt give me one at all but when it came time to leave with my kids, she didnt even check anything at all and just took my word for it. Its a safety thing this facility claims they take serious but its like this location doesnt care and thats scary. I wont drive out of my way again to go here.
Great place. Kids loved it
Had a ball with my grandson for his birthday.
We went for my brothers birthday and we had a great time
Staff was prompt and attentive. Excellent time had by all!
2 Stars for good food. Staff was nice enough no complaints.BUT a chuck e cheese usually has climbing equipment. Once the tokens run out they are supposed to work their energy out so you take home kids that are ready to sleep. This place has nothing of the sort. You need tokens or there is nothing else to do. There is not variety in the games. Many of the games are same versions of the same concept and other more interesting games are animated. Whatever happened to the game where a mole came out of hole and you hit it? Its been animated. We visited on my sons birthday. It was just me and my two kids so no party. But I was making sure he had more tickets than older brother. The ticket machine didnt count his tickets correctly and ended with less than half the amount he was supposed to have. I didnt make a big deal because I didnt want to ruin his time there and I know they are not worth much anyway but I was still upset about it. We will not visit this location again.
To expensive... Poor kids would have to come back every day to get enough tickets to win a medium-sized prize
It was good but miss chuckie coming out for kids to play with him.
Upgraded games and love that you can add play time on a card vs. handling all those tokens.
Cool not enough games
My grandson had his 2nd birthday party there. He had an awesome time. Thats all that matters, despite the small flaws, like waiting on their time to sing happy birthday and cut the cake...we end of doing it twice. Waiting on their time to feed the kids when they were hungry, stuff like that. He had fun and it was all worth it. I would do it again!!!!
I love their cheese pizza
Great place for my 4 year old. She loves it!However I purchased their cotton candy and it had grayish black teeny pieces I went back 3 times to complain and asked for it to be changed and all 3 times same issue. Not sure what it could have been as I have never seen it on any other cotton candy. I couldnt help but think maybe some kind of rodent poop -dont believe me. So definitely never again consuming their food or candy. Other than that good place to take your toddler to play .
It is a normal Chuck E Cheese took my grand daughter to a birthday party. They have changed alot since i had been to one. They had issues with the ticket eaters but in it was ok. My granddaughter loved it
Fun for the kids and not as costly.
Amazing birthday party, all details taken care of. Completely hassle-free. Also really good salad bar, and they were completely flexible when we didnt have the crowd as anticipated. I would totally, absolutely do this again.
No more tokens or points. Now, you pay to play according on how long u plan on playing. Ex. $10 for 30 mins. This location is very small. It gets so crowded that the machines often run out of tickets during play. Chuck E almost never comes out.
Its a great place for kids
Good games, friendly staff. Weekends can be busy, obviously, but still fun. Weekdays are nice and light and a great quick outing for special fun with the kids.
We went here to celebrate my sibling birthday and was very fun but is the Shane Dawson theory true??
Wonderful place to have a B-Day party for your little ones.
Always like this place for my daughter. However recent coin to point system conversion has led into many games requiring 2 or 3 points.. Instead of one coin per game system they had earlier. On one hand the card system is easier than holding the coins but increase game prices has been steep. Dont you already charge overrated prices for food and drinks ?
Fun and the newer option of time instead of tokens is awesome. Buffet during the week until 2, kids 2 and under eat free!
Workers are friendly and we had a great time! Love the new option of buying a monetary value for games or buying an all you can play for a certain amount of time option.
Ive had good experiences here with childrens birthday parties. Pros: staff has been very helpful, especially helpful with figuring out the most efficient ways to order pizza and tokens for parties. Cons: its been overcrowded every time Ive been there and always overly warm inside.
Pizza is great and the cost of a visit with parents and two kids will run you about 50 bucks. You can get a solid 2-3 hours of entertainment for the kids. The place is clean and the service is okay, not great. However, they need more games for 1-5 year olds. They removed a climb and slide system that the little ones loved. It was off the ground so they only got a little space out of removing it, which they used for tables instead of better games. I think that was a bad decision as there are always open tables.
It ok but food high unless got coupon
Steffy was wonderful and my son really enjoyed his party. Thank you!
