My wife and I had a great time here today. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their product. We had a tasting and a tour. We then hung out and just looked around a little. Pet friendly too. We will be back.

Love this place, and the product. This is one of the first places my fiance and I went when we moved here. We came because they were advertising a free tasting of their reserves, which were 3 bottles that I think were being discontinued or going out of season? Im a little shaky on that detail. Weve been back a couple times since, and have purchased bottles for gifts - its more special and more exciting than gifting the traditional bottle of wine, as a lot of people have still never experienced mead before. I do wish the outside gave more indication of what this place is. Its easy to miss if youre just driving by. Id love to see them create some sort of patio space or outdoor seating for the spring and summer months.

Because 0 isnt available, none of wine tasted like the flavors they were supposed to be! $12.90 for a flight of 8oz total.

A small hole-in-the-wall style meadery with some pretty good options. From the few meaderies that Ive found, Honeygirl had the most options, and easily had some tastings in my flight of mead that made it into my top 5 mead Ive ever tried. Its easy to miss with the outside being very nondescript and a little misleading, and not much seating or environment inside, but its worth it if youre a fan of honey wine and are looking for a great sample of local drinks.

Though their tasting room isnt that big, the vibe was still friendly and the staff were great. The meads they had were quite varied and tasty!

Hole-in-the-wall local meadery with really great atmosphere and even better mead selections. The flavors are all delicious and the love put into this mead is obvious. Always happy to support this business!

The selection of mead was nice, they had some good fruity ones and a couple spicy ones. My favorites was the spiced apple and my least favorite was the habanero. Its a kind of small place so it feels crowded and it doesnt look like much from the outside.

The mead here is phenomenal! The flavors range from traditional sweet mead to mead that plays more like dry white wine - something for everyone! The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful. They even did an impromptu informal tour for us since we visited on a slow day!

The meadery has a great selection of meads and multiple options for tastings or flights. Their currently taproom-only carbonated offerings of ginger peach and lavender lemonade are worth the visit alone. You can also taste the honey. Today was a pollinator fest which was very nice with a collection of vendors and information booths!

A small mead bar and meadery with a friendly staff and owner. When I visited on a Saturday, early afternoon, they were doing mead tastings and presentations of the varieties of mead they make and offer at the bar. After the tasting, I waited at one of the two tables setup across from the bar and colored some of the adult coloring print outs they provided while waiting for the tour by the owner to begin. That day, the theme was Golden Girls which was a humorous surprise! The owner was nice and very passionate about mead and went over her story of how she got into the business of mead making.Definitely give Honeygirl Meadery a visit even if youre not familiar with mead. If you like wine or beer, you should familiarize yourself with mead! Its a cool place with a friendly staff. They had around a dozen mead varieties when I visited. Theres also some tables set up outdoors.

Great low-key place to hang out. They have a sizable selection of delicious meads with a wide range of flavor profiles. The bartender, Abby, was super knowledgeable about the product and process. Very friendly and kind. This meadery is a good place to learn about the up and coming beverage of mead and try it for yourself!

Really neat spot! Friendly people and very reasonable price for a tasting. The mead itself is very good and theres variety in the flavors. We liked the lemonthyme the most, and the chai was great too. Would absolutely recommend stopping in with some friends to try the mead - if youve never had any before, youre in for a treat!

An absolutely wonderful experience!!! My girlfriend and I decided to check out their facility last Saturday. We arrived around 1:30pm and were promptly greeted by the owner and head meadmaker Diane. Our tasting was $5 per person which is an outstanding price given both the quantity of mead in each sample and the fact that you take home a Honeygirl wine glass (stemmed or stem-less, your choice). While we were there, Diane gave us an impromptu tour of the Meadery. This outstanding experience combined with the obvious passion Diane has for her craft are what warrant a truly 5-star review. Keep doing awesome work Honeygirl, we will definitely be back for more!

I dont know what was up, but my wife and I had the worst tasting ever at the annual Mead Festival the other day. As Ive had Starrlight a few times recently, I decided to go with Honeygirl. And I suppose I should add that I love mead, make my own at home quite often, and have been immensely curious about it since before I could legally drink.Even though there were fewer people on the Honeygirl side of the tent, the person at the entrance told us to just wait. So we stood near the entrance, waiting. People walked past us. The guy who told us to wait took off elsewhere. We didnt know what we were waiting for exactly, and as we we were the only ones waiting, there was neither cue nor queue to follow. Eventually, after we cautiously wandered a little closer to Honeygirls tables, a couple people in front of us moved out, and a younger dude asked if we wanted to do a tasting.Plastic cups? OK, its a busy-ish festival, I suppose. Dont change or rinse them between meads? Hmm, I can live with it. Automatic, tiny pour? Well, they have to be economical, I guess. Guy splashes some of that tiny pour out of the glass. Thats not very cool, but I guess there is still technically enough to taste. But then he says nothing or next to nothing about the meads (Literally, This is [x] mead. Yeah, I can read the bottle, man) and is just *gone* before we even finish the last one.Another server filled the guys spot and asks if weve been helped. I honestly had no clue how to answer that question. Technically? It wouldnt have been so bad if I didnt see other people standing around, talking to their servers, laughing, etc., albeit mostly on the other side of the tent. As it was, I left the tent with a mostly frustrated impression of this business.
