Great course - very well maintained. Nice amenities, club house, golf carts, and driving range. The price for the round was in line with expectations. The course is surrounded by a forest of trees, giving the feeling of escaping everything, yet not far from anything. Great overall impression and experience.

Played the golf course. Very well taken care of course. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nature trails run through the property. Right across the street from Duke University.

Great place to walk....

Lunch features a great burger. The atmosphere on the patio offers a great view of the course. Service was professional but slow. Seems a bit pricey imo, but good quality. Seems like a throw back in time, but definitely charming in its own right.

Beautiful GC. Hard to hold the greens

The walking and running trails around Duke University Golf Club (Washington Duke Inn) is in great condition. They continue to improve the natural trails over the past season. It is great for running. Great 2.73 mile run, not including the exercise loop. The most recent trail improvement was related to the exercise loop (8/2019).

WOW. This is a pricey course but one of the few thats worth every penny. A big boy lay out with great variety on most of the holes. There are a couple on the front that are OK but rest of course is fantastic. Back 9 gets super interesting with elevations etc. Greens are best in triangle in my opinion. Clubhouse, bar, restaurant and staff are all first rate.

Played in late October on a warm, beautiful day! The greens are amazing!! This must be what its like to putt on the tour!! Fast and perfect!!! Rough was penal...shots that looked good from the tee were MIA when you get out there. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Practice facilities are top notch. A+!!

Great golf course in fabulous shape ....fairways and greens as good as it gets. Will def be back to play again .... not sure why but I was pleasantly surprised at how the entire golf property was first class. Great alternative to Pinehurst .... as good of a public course as I ever played.

I have played this course for many years coming in from Wisconsin. It is an overall exceptional experience from course architecture, conditions, professional instruction, pro shop merchandise mix and courteous staff.

An outstanding layout but is ruined by greens that are like putting down a marble stairway. 12-13on the Stimp is just too much for these undulating green. There were several pin placements that a down hill putt could not stay on the green.A great course that could be more enjoyable not just frustrating.

It is a beautiful course. However $110 on a Wednesday to play is overpriced for what you are getting. Pro gave some lame excuse about the price being expensive because of the new golf carts. Seems ridiculous.

Gorgeous course. On the expensive side, but there student deals are very generous, so if you are a Duke student its just a quick walk from campus and definitely worth a play.

Very nice course. Carts all have gps to help with distance and pin location. The rough could be cut a little shorter but overall a very good course for the area.

Golf as good as it gets! Your game might suck but dont blame this magnificent layout. The risk/reward is very generous but ya gotta hit the ball. Think about what Jones and Jones had in mind and it will amaze your golf brain.

Loved it here. While I played in 95* heat and the course was recently aerified it was still a fantastic time. I can only imagine how good the conditions must be when its cooler and the greens are perfect. The course is challenging yet very fair and long. I played all by myself which was even better :)I would love to come back. Envious of the kids that play for Duke U at this wonderful course.

Great historic location right off campus. GFood is great, staff is great, and the golf course is tough. Recommended for any golfers coming through.

Easily one of the top public golf course in the Triangle. Absolutely go play if you have a chance. I think locals even get a discount on tee times.

One of the best courses Ive played. Great conditions, greens are Augusta like, true and fast. It is a difficult course from the tips. Wish they had better rates and for a course of this caliber disappointed they dont have free range balls

The practice facility is worth the drive. Its more expensive this year but... isnt everything. Range does look like it had a bunch of winter kill in the Bermuda.

The is one of the nicest golf courses in the State. The greens were difficult but perfect.

Nice track, challenging but fair. Like many Triangle courses, it sustained a fair amount of damage to its fairways during the 2014-2015 winter. Should be in good shape in another couple of months.
