Beautiful views!! Vault toilets available during the summer months. Also picnic tables and charcoal grates to cook. Great place to picnic. You are at the top of the mountain so it can get windy. Also expect the temperature to be about 10° cooler than it is in town.

Definitely worth the trip. Even though it was a 0.7 mile walk on top of the mountain. The view was worth EVERYTHING!! I recommend going before sunset to capture the best pictures.

Scary will take your breath away gravel road. Can overlook down mountains breath taking views. Short trail picnic areas with grill. Bathroom closed now.

Never have I ever been in such a peaceful place. Moment of calm highly recommend coming out to visit. Although it may close soon due to winter season.

It is a long drive up there but really worth the view. The trail is paved and at a 5% grade so safe for wheelchairs. One of my new favorite spots do put this small trail on you list of must sees in Durango Colorado.

It is a beautiful drive out Junction Creek to get here and once here the trail I paved so it is wheelchair accessible!

Its a great place to overlook ALL of Animas Valley and surrounding mountains.Handicapped accessible with restrooms. Road in can be bumpy with washboard in and watch for abundant wildlife.

Amazing views of Hermosa, Durango, and the animas river valley below. Short interpretive trail at the top. You pass the Durango trailhead for the Colorado trail on the way up. Easy access, though the road can become quite wash boarded
