Whitewater Park

I only watched rafters and kayakers go through. It was fun to watch. And they all looked as if they were having fun.

Amazing park. Huge play area swings dizzy spinners and a music making area all with a backdrop of the river and mountain. We had more fun playing in the river. But our kids are all water pups. Aug 2017 river is low and gental enough for a swim. Water was cool but not freezing. Changing stalls next to bathrooms.

I liked the views, picnic areas, and trail. Kids enjoyed playing on the playground and putting their feet in water.

We had an excellent time! This park is awesome. Check it out for sure. Love and Aloha to you all

Was a great place to take children to help entertain them. Just make sure you have a life vest for you and your children cold rapid Colorado Waters water shoes for their feet. Is a public River! The playground was wonderful and scootering or whatever wheeled activities you enjoy. Great way to start teaching children regular exercise even if its walking or running!

Its a very scenic recreation park with a playground, and a nice garden. Ok place to have a picnic.Only if it werent near a Water Waste Treatment Plant. Smelly park but ok!

Durango RiverTrippers Super Fun and scary!! We Loved It! River days

Despite the construction that seems to be going on most of the time this Park sports on of the best Whitewater in the world.It just went through a major construction over haul so it looks so much better. The restrooms are hardly open and the water fountains dont work part of the year. If it wasnt for all the construction and lack of trash cans restrooms that seem to be closed most of the time I would give a better rating

Raft flipped, nearly died, but overall not bad

Smelled so bad being located to human waste water treatment plant. Really fouled up watching the river surfers as they frolicked in the treated sewage and river water.

Childrens fun!!

Its a nice trail to walk or bike and has a fun playground. The only thing i dont like is theres a sewage treatment plant. And the smell is terrible.
