Comfortable seating seats recline. Good quality movie.

For the most part it was fine. The movie was set to start at 12:35 we arrived at 12:15 (first showing) got our snacks and went into the theatre only to discover a movie was in progress. 45 minutes later our movie started. With and entire lobby full of movie goers sharing my fate. Im leaving a 3 star rating because the food was good (popcorn, nachos,candy) and I enjoyed the movie and the seats.

If youre looking for a more personal screening of a good movie this is the place to go. Perfect for a dinner on Durangos historically romantic Main Street and a movie to end a perfect date night.

Quirky old movie theater right next door to the train station. Free parking in the rear. Extremely uncomfortable seating in huge man-size recliners. Im am average size woman and my feet didnt reach the floor. The seat backs are so tall that you cant see the full movie screen. Womens restroom has 3 stalls but one is out of order. Women standing in line after the movie mentioned that that stall had been out of order for months.

Pretty good seats. It is a good improvement on the old theater.

Came to this theater hoping our seats would recline, the back only recline not the feet which makes sitting in your seat uncomfortable. Never seen seats in a theater that don’t recline for your feet. May need to consider.....

Really awesome theaters, lratger reckoning, wide chairs. Talk about luxury seating and at affordable prices! Tuesdays are discounted even more, and you can walk from there to stroll up main Ave to find more to explore.

This is a great little theatre that has everything you would need to enjoy yourself.

This place has the MOST comfortable seats. It wasnt very busy when I attended. The customer service was excellent. We enjoyed the movie but there isnt much selection due to the smaller sized cinema. Great experience, if you havent been in do check it out!

It is an older theater but still nice and comfortable seats that lean back but no footrests that come up and u can not put ur own butter on the popcorn and they never put enough on it as far as my wife and I are concerned.

Love this theatre! Leather seats that recline, only 2 movies at a time, and great staff make this place relaxing and less crowded. We will definitely be back!

Comfy seats and good service!

Buttered popcorn is the best. The reclined chair i choose to sit in only reclined about halfway. Hard for children to see over the chair in front of them. The picture quality is better in the theater on the left than the right.

The walls between theaters are thin & you could hear the sound from the other theater. The seating is no longer open. They assign seats making it difficult if you are meeting others. Ugh

Old worn down theater. Small screens; not so great sound. Fairly dirty. New seats are pretty good though.

Most comfortable movie theater seats I have EVER sat in. You feel like a king. Not a great selection, so time the movie you really want to see. Not crowded at all.

Your typical small town movie theater. Features larger titles and also shows some limited release movies and documentaries. Remodel added excellent reclining seats with tons of space. Updated projectors and sound system give an excellent viewing experience. Small seat numbers and only two screens means more popular titles can sell out quickly but theres always the 9 screen theater by the mall.

Great Venue for special movies with a niche audience, comfortable seating, clear view of the screen.

Small theater, but recliner seats and my favorite place to watch movies. Can generally get into new movies a week or 2 after they are out and have very few people in the theater, especially for matinees. Also, it is located in the downtown area, so perfect location for dinner and a movie.

Fantastic theater. If a film isnt playing here we wait and get it on Netflix. Wonderful seats that recline and theres enough room for people to walk in front of us without us getting up. More comfortable than staying home. Pleasant staff. No lines. Wonderful. We love it here. And the Wednesday indie films are such a treat.

I went to see the avengers endgame it was really good but, the prices for snacks are outrageous and the seats are not that comfortable. I still managed to enjoy myself though

Good place to see a movie. Like everyone else says, the seats are fantastic. The staff is small but since its usually not crowded wait times for service are not any longer than a bigger theatre.

I spent a lot of time at the Gaslight during the Durango Film Festival. Fun small theaters with great seats. Good popcorn, too!

We have been to the Gaslight numerous times. A small, 2-screen theater, but the sound and screen are good. We really like the chairs that have a button to lean them back like airplane seats but Cadillac quality. This last time the theater was nearly full when we arrived and the only seats were in the front row. Nobody wants the front row, right? We tried it and when we adjusted the seats back, we were at the perfect viewing angle with no one in front. Well probably choose those seats next time. Who woulda thought...

I just experienced the new seats! Oh my luxury! I was impressed, the only bummer was trying to stay awake! Hehe great movies great old theater cant wait to go again!!!

The seats are absolutely the best. Roomy, reclining, and nobodys head is sticking into your view corridor! It never feels crowded, even when the theatre is full. Compared to most other theatre seating that cram people in like sardines, this is pure luxury!

I love this tiny theater. They have comfortable reclining seats, and there is not a bad seat in the house. The only drawback is they have limited showings and movie titles.

This place is only great because the seats are awesome and its pretty slow, but the service sucks if you come for consessions.

It is an old theater with wear showing especially in the bathrooms but they have super comfortable reclining seats and cheap(er) ticket prices

The seats are reclining, but they were built for people over 6. Uncomfortable if you are a shorter person.

The seats are amazing!! The only problem I had was that there was only one employee working at the time which created a line. But otherwise, it was a good experience

Our second-favorite movie theater in Durango (Fav is Animas City Theater). Gaslight has big, comfy reclining leather chairs. Small but cheerful staff. Parking behind the theater. No bar...
