Great get away for families or couples. Low key, attentive staff. Pool deck is nice. On location bar and restaurant is great. Rooms facing the water are great to take in a cup of coffee or enjoy the energy from below

Absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere, everything is super accessible. Service is very friendly. You can literally do anything and overlook the water while doing so; whether you want to hang at the bar, swim in the pool, walk on the dock or hang out up in your room on the balcony. Very clean and very family friendly.

This makes our second trip to Beso and it has yet to disappoint. The rooms are clean and cozy with a full sized fridge, stove top and microwave, which really is convenient in the midst of a pandemic. The Marker 8 bar and grill is associated with the hotel and they have plenty of outside dining if you dont feel like making your own meals.

We had a good time. My party of 5, including 3 kids fit in the 1 bedroom because of a roller bed they provided. The room wasnt very updated, but it was fine and seemed very clean. The Marker 8 bar and grill downstairs was very good (we recommend the Cod Fish sandwich). They have docks to tie to and are very close to Clearwater Beach.

Marker 8 is a really nice place to watch the sunset. Right on the water, very Breezy. nice atmosphere just dont like drinking out of plastic cups specially when Im drinking wine

Very comfortable bed. Great kitchen facilities. Spotlessly clean. The pool, spa area are in a wonderful position overlooking the water, where you can watch great sunsets every evening. The free use of bicycles was an absolute bonus as we used these to cycle the wonderful Pinellas trail and to Honeymoon island. Also free laundry facilities made our stay easy. Thanks Beso del Sol .

I have never stayed at this place. I do however love the outdoor bar and visit often. Free shots for everyone at sunset but that is nothing compared to the amazing views. A great place to see the sunset, have a drink and relax the stress away

We booked through our time share based on reviews. I should have done more research. This isnt a super kid friendly place. When we booked we assumed the room had a pull out couch. It did not. A queen sized bed and very out dated furniture is what we got. Was told full kitchen as we are staying a week. It has a kitchenette. The dinning room has a table that seats 2. Called our time share company and they contacted the front desk who said they bring air an mattress to accommodate 4 people. A guy brought up a rollaway cot that sleeps one person. One kid was stuck on an old very uncomfortable couch. I woke up the next morning sore as hell. The bed is so uncomfortable I was legitimately in tears trying to move. I ended up sleeping on the rollway cot that was just as uncomfortable. The bathroom is on the small side as well. We have 5 nights left and Im thinking about loosing the money we spent to find a better more comfortable place to stay. I would not recommend this place for a family or for anyone with back problems. Very disappointed for what we paid.

Beso resort is awesome. From the bar which is Marker 8 to the pool side views of the ocean. The staff is too notch and the food is good

Room was nice. Very clean. View was amazing. A used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, water in the shower went from hot to cold several times during our showers and never got hot water in kitchen. Staff acknowledged there was an issue but only repaired after we left. Planned on cooking in a few times but with no hot water that was out of the question. Barely an apology and nothing offered for the inconvenience.

The room was nice. King bed, full dize refrigerator/freezer, large microwave, kitchen sink, 2-burner stove top, cups and plates, coffee maker and all the essentials. The bathroom was small and no vanity but it all worked and everything was clean. Love that all the bedding was white!! We also had a private balcony and eady access to downtown.

Hotel with great location!Hot Spa and warmed pool. The sun comes down at exactly 8:02 pm. Considering is may 2019. This will end until daylight saving time ends in November 3rd at 2 p.m.If you dont occupy any hotel room, you can still visit the tiki bar and use the outside features and enjoy the sunset view.The only downside is people smoking around your kids. Theres not much you can do about it. Like in the parks.

You are close to everything! There is a bus/trolly stop right out front. The Who place was pretty well kept. The pools were beautiful and heated. Also a jacuzzi. The bar/restaurant in the middle was the best!! Really no need to leave the property.

My husband took a shower on the evening of our arrival and had roughly 1 min of warm water, then it turned ice cold. I waited about 30 minutes to take mine hoping the water would heat up, but i had the same thing happen to me. So i call the front desk and speak with Susanne to tell her our issues. Her response, in the most snippy obnoxious voice you could imagine was, did you not ready about our hot water system in the literature you were given at check in? First off, i didnt think i needed to read a manual on how to take a ahower, especially when paying $255.00 plus a $14 a night. Secondly, i woukd think a more appropriate first response would be, Im so sorry you are having this issue. Let me send maintenance to see if they can rectify the issue. After for asking maintenance to come check out the issue, a very nice man arrived. He did his best to fix the issue but was unsuccessful. According to him this was due to a bad valve that regulates the hot and cold water flow from their water heating units ( which arent your typical water heaters). He made some adjustment that got the water luke warm but then we had no water pressure. Since we were only there 1 night, we told him we would make due. I have no problem with things breaking, it happens but this was not handled properly or professionally. At check out I explained what happened and got, oh so sorry to hear that. Since then Ive emailed the property with no response, and its been 4 days. Stay away from this place.

The bars a fun place to watch a beautiful sunset, complete with complimentary shots as the sun kisses the water! Server Summer was perky enough to put even Oscar the Grouch in a good mood, and the bar food is greasy but good. Try the sweet potato waffle fries and the shrimp!Our two-level suite had been freshly painted. The refrigerator was brand new and sparkling. The furniture was comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was amply sized and well stocked & decorated. Upstairs bathroom was pretty small but had everything we needed. Only showers were available... No tubs in the unit.The only problem we had was with the meaning of sleeps six. We assumed that meant there were 3 beds, but upon check in we had to request a blow up queen. It was brought quickly and set up & made up well. It was also pretty comfortable. But it was set up in an upstairs loft that had no AC and no way to shut off light and noise coming from downstairs. People using the upstairs bedroom had to walk through the loft. And because the upstairs bedroom had no door, there was no privacy for either of the upstairs sleep areas. Once the blow up queen is in place in the loft, squeezing into and out of the upstairs bathroom is difficult.We heard some complaints about parking limitations due to the number of non-resident bar patrons, but we experienced no problems with parking.

Place was well-planned, clean and well-stocked. Plenty of storage in kitchen, bathroom and throughout main space. Water pressure in shower was lacking. Decor was a bit heavy for my taste, but was continuous and of good quality. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Balcony offers no privacy or peace as it overlooks both resort pool and bars outdoor seating, but it did provide a lovely view of the sunsets! Overall, would recommend!

Worst customer experience ever. Came w/my niece and her service dog who weighs 4 pounds. My niece has Stage 4 Cancer, seemed to be security guard told her we need to leave. She pulled permit up on phone and he wouldnt look at it. He said he would get general manager. Manager never came. We have brought guests there before and rented rooms. We will never return. Teach your staff sensitivity training for goodness sake. It ruined the day for all 7 of us. Bad form Beso Del Sol.

Great place, just dont eat at the bar or expect good service. Drinks were so-so. Food..bar food. Do NOT get the chicken quesadillas..YUK! Waiter avoided us like the plague, even going as far as very visible nah, never mind body language to himself as he headed our direction and then turned around as he got closer to us. (Us being 2 quiet middle aged women) But...great place for sunset!

We really visited Marker8. We had a nice shrimp lunch and a 32 ounce rum punch bucket. Such a nice view. Very relaxing.

I will definitely be back. Prices were fair. Decent rooms, dated, but nice and clean. Kitchenette, nice mattress. We were on the water, so liked the view, not sure about the other ones. The bar staff is hit or miss. Some were nice. A few were not, and they also werent good at their jobs. Imo, this is the weak spot they should address. Bar is cool, lively, and fun though. Food was pretty good, no complaints there.

Quite solitude, great sunset, clean, friendly staff. Great getaway for a weekend. Short drive to Honeymoon lsland State park, $8 fee. Great water, nice sand, easy access to beach. Best sunset ever. If you are looking to get away to just relax this is the place to put on your radar.

We recently had our wedding at the Venue at Beso del Sol. All our family and friends booked rooms there for our big day. Beso Del Sol went above and beyond for us. The staff were wonderful, the rooms are spacious with great views, and the venue for our reception was amazing!! We all had such a wonderful time and cant wait to go back!!!

Loved the atmosphere at night with the tiki bar and live music. Also being right on the water and close to downtown.

If this resort is associated with Marker 8, then the service at the bar and patio deck was horrible. Received the initial round of drinks fine, the server never returned and continued to walk past the table even when both cups were turned upside down. Paid attention to the table right next to our table, but acted like we didnt exist. My girlfriend and her friend stopped going to Marker 8 for the same reason. Poor service on the patio deck and bar.

Beautiful bayside resort. Marina and waterfront restaurant open to any visitors. Great spot to have a drink and watch the sun set over the water. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Marker 8 restaurant could really use valet parking service.

We came here as referral from family who hadnt stayed here yet so we didnt know what to expect. We LOVED it! We came 18 days in Feb then returned home reluctantly to decide to return 2 wks later in March for 12 days! Our home away from home! Love music on weekends starting March in Tiki Bar! Great chicken quesadillas too. Love waterfront studio w view from balcony of sunset and all activity below at pools and bar. Like having all amenities if rent from Beso Del Sol instead of from an owner of a condo. We plan to rebook several times a year! From Ohio!

We have stayed at Beso several times because of the location on the water and a close walk to town. Beso is like renting a small efficiency apartment. One downside for me are the small bathrooms, but otherwise the rooms are clean and have all the appliances you need.

I went to Tiki Bar. The beer coolers stunk like the drains are clogged. Can only imagine how often their tap system gets cleaned so just drank bottled. Otherwise it was a great bar.

This resort is so disorganized!! When we came Dec30 (at around 5pm) to check in, they said our room was not yet ready. Good thing, they have complimentary bikes to use (just be careful as they are not the greatest maintained bikes)....after an hour of biking, they said the room was ready and when we entered the room...it was effing dirty!!! The bed was not made (imagine someone just waking up from the bed!) and there were towels all over the the bathroom floor..it was definitely not cleaned up. They made arrangements for us to transfer to another room (good thing it was oceanview)...we said we will check out early around 730am Dec31 and we did (we pre-paid our stay and we were told to leave resort bands and keys inside the room) . On the same day, we received a call from this resort saying we did not check out and we left our stuff/luggage in the room...THIS IS A GOOD PLACE BUT MANAGED POORLY! Look for someplace else!

I just simply went there to check out the environment I thought it was quite lovely.

Our condo rental was nice, clean, AC worked great! The bar downstairs has live music sometimes great when you are at the bar a little loud if you have a condo close to the bar. Bar also has good happy hour deals and such.

Nice place. Room was nice, bed was nice, kitchenette was nice. The switchbacks to get to any room past the first two on any floor were pretty annoying. The hot tub was cold and when we called they said they would send maintenance down and they never showed up. They have bikes you can rent for free that are fun.

I would like to come back and stay. Small intimate hotel on the water with a fun bar!

The receptionist who sits with you to discuss your options was acting rude. The customers before us arrived quite late which set our appointment back by at least a half hour. It was already early evening so I wasnt about to stay and wait. Peace Out !!!

I think I did this once! Check your records. We were verrrrrrrry unhappy with our stay. We should have been paid to stay here. Enough said......except, dont bother me any more. Considering never using hotels.com again.

A friend of mine stayed there i found the rooms were large with ba very nice balcony overlooking a small marina we saw a gator swimming in the marina, there is a Italian restaurant and bar on site, the food was really good a bit on the pricey side, I didnt go but they do have breakfast in the morning at the hotel homemade waffles cereal and such, my friend was happy with the hotel so I give it a thumbs up

We visited Marker 8 for afternoon snacks and drinks. This is a popular place to look out over the inland waterway and enjoy the sun. There is a small swimming pool here, so if you have your swim suit on, you can cool off while enjoying your favorite alcoholic drink. Parking for non-residents is somewhat limited, but generally adequate.

Very cool place, situated on intercoastal so the view is great. Food and drinks great and service was outstanding!! If you visit once you will come back!

Quiet complex to put you close to the action! boasts good bar, pier out to gulf,2 pools and an eager staff to assist. if you are considering a smal gathering they have banquet facilities with a view of the gulf included!close in location puts dunedin at your fingertips, or take a drive down alt 19 to the beaches of clearwater, or honeymoon island about 15 minutes north!rentals of 1 bdrm to i think 3 bdrm condos available at rates comparable to hotels but these include fully equipped kitchens, and private bedrms!if u are searching for a nice place to store overflow family or guests..try it - you will be satsfied!

Room was very clean and spacious. Closets was a bit small but adequate. Sunsets was amazing.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating for the wedding I attended. I didnt stay in any of the rooms. The view in the back was beautiful. I would definitely come back again based on my experience yesterday.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The rooms have tile and there is a kitchen. Our room had a small but usable balcony. The hotel sits on the bay, so its nice to watch the sunset. There is a bar inside the hotel with food and liquor. The hotel has access to free bicycles and there is a cute shopping area within a mile from the hotel.

Love this place! The rooms are nice. The bar and grill is fun with decent food. The best part is their dock. If you have a boat you can dock overnight for free. Being able to hop on your boat and head to honeymoon or caladesi is great!

A great place to go for drinks, dinner, or simply sight seeing. We love to visit and are never disappointed. The food is delicious, the chicken cordon Bleu bites are a must have. The perfect place to unwind after a long day of work!
