We always stop here for a picnic lunch on our way south to the Twin Cities. The fall colors are breathtaking. The park is well maintained, and has water and bathroom facilities. Its a lovely place to rest and relax in the middle of a long drive home.

Beautiful little park below the junction of Hwys 23 and 210 in the Fond Du Lac neighborhood of Duluth. Appears to have been renovated after the 2012 flooding with a new restroom facility (closed for Covid currently,) playground equipment, picnic tables, pedestal BBQ grills, and numerous fruit bearing trees that like like they should start producing heavy crops in the few to 5 years. It is a nice calm spot to land canoes and kayaks and has an easy lawn right to the waters edge.

What I loved about this park is how well kept and clean everything is, the bathrooms are nice, has good picnic tables, a beautiful river thats great to go fishing, boating, canoeing, etc. Also, the park has plenty of walking trails, a nice size play ground for the kids, and has cooking grilles. Overall, this is a great place to relax on nice summer day!

Great place to venture with the family. Nice clean well kept park. Playground for the kids to climb while parents can fish and relax. Many trails to venture on. Would be perfect spot to have a picnic, throw a birthday party or family get together. Being a Duluth resident. Would say this park is in the top five best parks to go to that the entire family could enjoy!
